I saw in another thread that butcher has said it over for us to sign players this window but stv have said they expect something to happen before the window shuts? is this likely?

Well our problems are well documented it is expensive for the product not enough people in inverness support there local side (Old firm dominance as we know) and after last season lots have been put off and for a while the atmosphere has been rank rotten for a number of seasons which hasnt done anything to incourage people to come. Now the club did what fans asked and some wrongfully made promises that they didnt keep some didnt but wanted the club to do the right thing anyway. But i think one factor which still causes lots of people to stay away is the SPL is still the SPL. Rangers may have gone and wont be back for a while especially if there away form continues to be indifferent (haha). But the SPL is still uncompetitive and still uneven and has all the problems that continues to plague it even with one major obsticle cleared. People will return if the product becomes exciting and fresh something new which can get people excited as well as distributing money more evenly. The SPL needs to change because the club has done what is asked of it and hasnt really improved attendences and from where im sitting no club has really improved. Killie still average around 5,000 no real increase the bigger clubs like hearts dundee united who u think may come out in numbers as they have a chance to challenge celtic and also champs football they havent improved dramatically so we need to change and freshen up the product as whole

I was listening to a local radio phone in last night which talked about booing your own team. Apparently at HT in a match between Bolton and Crystal palace it was 0-0 and the home fans (Bolton) booed them off. Now it was only the first home game of the season and the second match overall after a defeat in the first game. Now Bolton won but i find that booing them so early in the season was abit over the top especially when they ended up winning the match. Now Caley have lost there first match to a team that we all know is bigger and has far more resources to play with. Now the players did look out of there depth and they struggled against a better team. We wanted us to give them a much tougher game but to call for butchers head or start to question if he is right for the club is a tad over the top. Last season was rotten and it was hard not to get despondent but from what i have heard we have played much better this season and until saturday we were unbeaten and were unlucky maybe not to have two wins. Our first bad performance and suddenly we are in trouble. Lets see where we get to before getting worried because looking at the table we are 4 points off the top and only 2 off the bottom with the league looking so compressed everyone is beating everyone and there have been plenty of draws so lets forget this negativity and let the season develop because the way we are playing i believe we can do well this season and as we know anything from Celtic is a bonus it is the other teams we have to worry about starting with motherwell this weekend

well i enjoyed the last 10 minutes haha

this could be embarrasing

Well i know that people hated the long hoof but at times today the players seem to be so concentrated on passing that they dont do the basics and just clear the ball and there were a few moments were we played a good decisive pass into the celtic box and instead of trying to get a shot away we play another unnecessary pass which leads to more unnecessary passes and we are going backwards but on the whole the passing has been dreadful and our back 4 have looked so out of there depth it is scary

not good just nothing happening
-
well not very full and poor start we just cant keep the ball

I was one who received the complementary ticket but i still didnt attend this weekend. I am a football fanatic and been a life long man utd supporter as i grew up in the north west of England. I moved north in 2001 and watched Caley Thistle even from the long trip that was caithness. I got a season ticket when we got promoted for couple of reasons 1) i Love football and Caley was were me and my dad went before i got a season ticket and 2) it was my most local professional side (County dont count haha). In 2008 i left caithness and moved to stirling for study and really should have ended the season ticket with the cost of travel plus the incentive of away games. I didnt i stayed and kept my season ticket until this season when i have moved back to England making it impossible for me to attend each week but if i was still up north i can guarantee i would have renewed. I never got in touch to tell the club to demote rangers and never promised anything but again if i was north i wouldnt have had a second thought but to renew. Last season was dire but supporting a smaller club you cannot expect it to be great all the time. I fell in love with Inverness Caley Thistle and i still hope to make a few games this season even from England and i understand people about the money side but the football, please, it was mince but if you love the club and want to make sure it survives then i think not renewing because of the standard is a poor excuse and i am english and seen some of the most embarrassing international football performances haha. The whole spl is poor which has made every club poor even the old firm so lets all get behind the club and the unsong heros in the background who are trying to increase the exposure of the club to the inverness public -
FT draw not bad started unbeaten even though we have had two games were we had a lead at one point. Sounded like our football was good with lots of nice passing so maybe we will have good season be good to hear the attendees to get the real reaction
