i was told to sit down by some guy that has never sat near us before until this season when we were coming forward i started to stand and he told me to sit that is what we are dealing with

totally agree with maryhill on this one. football is a fickle industry that revolves around success and when success is not forthcoming then i feel supporters are far to quick to get onto the sack the manager bang wagon. Look at the issue with arsenal, wenger has been a brilliant manager for them but people are starting to call for a change absurd. In this situation Butcher has been here some 2 to 3 years and has been successful in everything he has done here. The relegation wasnt his fault and he almost kept us up so this is the first period where Butcher is under a bit of pressure and i think he should be allowed to sort it out and that sacking him is going to make things worse. I wasnt there tonight but from the games i have attended i feel our forward play has been quite good but as been stated we havent finished anything off because we have no natural goalscorer so get a loan in and then i can see us scoring for fun as we are creating, luck has deserted us and the injuries is just awful but that is football. We will get better and i do feel our team are better than some in the SPL so i feel we just need to rid this out but please lets not over react by calling for terry's head so early especially when everyone some 12 months ago had not a bad word to say about him

seen the highlights didnt look a bad performance and the pens were just so pathetic i cant even get angry at them. my match summary well 1st half pathetic defensively and attacking wise. Wh ydo our players not take a chance and shoot more is beyond me. Poor goal to concede even though the fans around me were admerant it was offside but that doesnt take it away from the elementary defending that occurred all match. Second half saw an improvement, on the the attacking front. Tansey scored a decent equaliser i know it took a deflection but at least he had ago. Second was sloppy again defence just looked so poor. I was surprised aldred didnt start to get some consistancy or regularity to our central defence, hogg i think will come good but was poor and was overshadowed by barrowman who couldnt even reach the ball when he was with us let alone flick it on and cause havoc. What was tade thinking is all i can say needless touch i hope he has leant that lesson after costing foran a very good goal. Hayes equaliser was from a poor mistake from Gallagher and the last was good build up play and proper football from tansey - go for it even if u are going to get taken out. The free kick was terrible on to fronts 1) hayes wtf was he trying to do when we had the ball deep in there half 2) hogg an experienced defender and he gives a free kick like that away just so poor but lets not take it away from Martin Hardie that was a peach. Overall gutted to lose 2 points at the death but relieved to get something after watching our car crash of a defence. Didnt go to motherwell saw the highights and saw how poor the defece were but was at the hibs game and saw a resonably solid defence not totally but better but this week we have gone backwards and need to sort it out PRONTO

dont agree i think we can take throw ins but it isnt the thrower that is the problem, we had the same problem last season and that is the movement at throw ins if there isnt an option then wat can the thrower do. All i saw today was players walking away not giving piermayr any options

i wasnt at the game so dont have the first hand of seeing it infront of me to overall people who were there. The radio did sound promising but what i want to know is where has this sudden expectation come from did anyone actually believe that we could stroll past motherwell playing barcalona esq football. I didnt yes i was surprised and gutted by the margin of defeat but as has been pointed out we are new team trying to adapt a new style vs a very similar and settled squad from last season with a couple of decent additions. I am surprised by the amount of people pressing the panic button, we lost to celtic last season and looked to be outplayed and faced a difficult 2nd match against the team that finished 3rd the season before and nobody expected us to gub them 4-0 so lets not not suddenly bring in the doom and gloom terry says we need more faces and im sure he will and i have just watched the highlights and yes motherwell looked to have two much space to create but on a attacking front we looked like we could create GIVE IT TIME PEOPLE IT ISNT A SPRINT

i have just listened to mfr now we wont know until the guys at the game give us the clear picture but from what i heard we looked good but defensively we are still dodgy so we need to sort that but remember we are a new team who havent played together for very long compared to a pretty similar well squad so i think alot of positives but need to strengthen the back line
