Streaming
Well according to the P&J comments (odd the club never made a statement about it) it wasn't that bad and we're just plain wrong about the whole thing. Strange seen as virtually everyone I've spoken to about it thought it was woeful. I've contacted the club a handful of times over the years including directly to chairmen and they have never gone unanswered. First time for everything I suppose.

Return of fans
The feel the club don't really want a partial return to the stadium. To be honest I don't blame them. Financially it will be a disaster costing more to organise and operate than we could ever bring in. Plus all the flack that they'll likely take for supporters who don't get in.

Emailed Gardiner this week outlining the issues and suggestions to resolve them. No response as yet.

Details for streaming home games
That happened to me just before the game last weekend. I emailed the support address and never had a response to this day. I'm fairly sure the SPFL site is put together with sellotape and blutack, it's garbage but that doesn't surprise me. Anyway, I cleared my cookies, cache and all that stuff and then relaunched the browser and the icon to log in appeared finally. Maybe give it a try. ETA- If it happens again. See you sorted it. 👍

I think you misunderstand me. I'm not for a second suggesting it should be free. I'm saying that if you're paying for a service it should be of a decent standard. Nairn County's free stream on YouTube was no worse than yesterday. If the club have contracted a commercial entity to run the streaming then they should be as disappointed as many of the fans are.

We had multiple tests to make sure this was working perfectly remember and were told it was. If you're happy with it great, never ceases to amaze me the mediocrity we'll accept from our club sometimes and I'm not referring to the product on the pitch. We should be using this as an opportunity to expand the number of people who watch ICT as it's more accessible, really go out and sell the club to a wider audience with a great product regardless of what the result is. Instead it's our usual mantra of 'ach it's good enough, better than nothing I suppose.'

The highlights put for free in YouTube today are 100 times better than the pathetic stream yesterday. No sun directly into the camera, no commentator who sounds like he's never watched ICT in his life, actual replays, different angles, better image quality, stable image that doesn't move jarringly and nauseatingly across the pitch and most of all not having to look at a linesman for 60% of the time. Remember that the stream isn't some kindness that the club is giving out it's costing season ticket holders about £14 to watch per game!

I'm not familiar with the Firestick but if it has a browser you could possibly use that? I'm using the browser on my Xbox One X to get it on my big tv as the browser on my smart tv doesn't seem to want to display the video on the SPFL website. Another option may be if you have a laptop to hook it up to your tv with an HDMI cable. Try it in advance.

The season ahead
Yeah that's my point. We could have easily charged for it between say five and ten quid but we seem to have wanted to do it for free but not being allowed, decided bizarrely that it's better for nobody to see the game at all than charge. 🤷♂️

The season ahead
Why would it need to be free? I don't understand this line. Other more apparently organised clubs like Brora have it in place for this week and are charging £9 odd. I doubt fans even care much about graphics or anything fancy like that. Given it's our first home game in months and Highland League teams are managing to do it I find it dissapointing and slightly embarrassing tbh.

Back to the stripes this season
Picked up the away kit yesterday for my eldest daughter. She loves it. Sizing is pretty small though. She's 9, slim and fairly average height for her age. 11-12 was a better fit than 9-10. Particularly if you want it to last more than a few months.

Preordered 2 copies. Fingers crossed it makes it to print.

Back to the stripes this season
Daughter would love the away strip. Wanted to take her down to try it on but shop is only open Mon to Fri 9-2. Honestly I wonder sometimes.

Programme giveaway.
Having time on my hands being on furlough I've finally tidied the loft and come across around 50 ICT programmes mostly from seasons 08/09, 09/10 and 10/11. Rather than just recycling them I'd rather they went to a good Caley Thistle loving home. So if you're interested in them PM me here and they're yours. You'd have to pick them up though. Cheers 👍

Coronavirus
I certainly wouldn't be looking for any refund on my ST. I think that would be quite petty should this come to pass.

Where are you seeing that?

Well deserved for a great servant of the club and an all round nice bloke. I do think that the choice of the rugby club is a bit odd but I assume it's to stop our pitch getting even more wrecked.

Caramel Wafer Cup Semi Final
As has been mentioned. Challenge cup - SPFL not SFA. Though yes the refs are from the SFA technically.

Inverness CT -V- Livingston
Interesting. I've met a few folk who say they won't go to games due to the merger but upon further discussion either never went to Caley/Thistle games anyway or were apparently so affronted that they switched to the old firm, seems like an odd choice to make. Only genuine Caley 'Refusenick' I know is my uncle Ben (not the rice guy) who was a massive Howden Ender but has never attended an ICT game.

More TV Games
Friday night kick offs are great imo (under the floodlights, keeps Saturday clear etc) if the opposition is close by. That means unfortunately virtually nobody for us though.
