Are there any plans to encourage active travel to the stadium? Bike stands perhaps? When will the minutes of the last fans forum be released? Will it be by 2023? Will there be any further fan forum type meetings? Is there a strategy to engage with the Supporters Trust going forward? Are there any plans to improve the 'match day experience'? Will the West Stand have a proper roof installed after the concerts are done and if so how will it be funded? Do you feel communication with fans generally has been sufficient over the last season or so?
  2. Active travel to the stadium? Lol. I sometimes cycle down and there isn't even one basic cheapo cycle rack to padlock a bike to. Can't take water bottle either. I'd like to cycle down more often with my daughters but there's no cycle paths and with the way many drivers behave in particular after games it isn't remotely safe.
  3. Flares burn hot enough to melt steel and have an exposed flame, they are intentionally difficult to put out as designed for marine use. Smoke bombs do burn a bit but internally at much lower temperature. They are very different.
  4. I've never really understood the 'it's better that we're out of the cup so we can concentrate on the league' type of thinking. These guys are full time professional athletes, it really shouldn't be an issue. If I recall the season we finished 3rd in the Premiership was when we won the Scottish Cup.
  5. It may well have been. It differs from the emailed statement which doesn't mention him.

    Sponsorship

Indeed. Family fun days, kids Christmas party, end of season ball, kids game with players, 10 pin bowling with players etc all seem to have dissappeared. Now I realise that Covid will have impacted all of these and lockdowns have somewhat messed up my perception of time so perhaps these have only stopped for lockdowns, however I'm fairly sure it's longer than that.

    Sponsorship

I don't sponsor a player but once again the higher echelons of the club show contempt for the bread and butter supporters of the club. The club making promises that they don't keep and never follow up on - they'll be a sponsor's night, we'll have open fan's forum meetings (and get the minutes out), we'll put a roof on the west stand etc. Situations change and there may be perfectly good reasons for all these 'oversights' but true to form the club never communicates anything, speaks to anyone, (the supporters trust or supporters directly) nor explain the situation. There is however always time to punt expensive hospitality. I simply don't understand why it's so difficult for them to do this? Ego? Unwilling to accept that they made mistakes and cant fulfill commitments? Maybe. I first really noticed this during the Pixallot fiasco. There's quite a lot of positive fan feeling right now and it would be a shame to waste some of that.
  8. Streaming a game and tv coverage aren't really the same though. I don't think that streaming a game for say £14-£16 really has that many negatives in any (as opposed to tv which results in fixture changes to stupid times etc) and I'd be interested to see what the financial income is for it. I agree that having it as an 'add on' for season ticket holders and as a stand alone per game charge for away fans is a great idea. I used to make loads of away games but past years it has declined due to family reasons and other (inc financial) commitments not allowing me to give up a full weekend day every second week. This season it was just Partick and Arbroath play off games. Being able to pay to watch the streams for away games has been brilliant and put a few quid in the coffers of teams. I've no doubt the reverse is true for ICT.
  9. I'm nothing to do with organising this but as it seems some folk were not aware..
  10. I'm confident we will be promoted if we win this evening.

    ICTWFC

It was a fairly comfortable win for ICT in the end although Westdyke did have their chances. Great to see some of the young ICT girls play at half time and get a big group picture after the game. ️
  13. This must be the first time in our history we've actually announced a strip pretty early. Hopefully this means they are released in good time too.

This week representatives of ICT (CEO Scot Gardiner and women’s manager Karen Mason) along with representatives from Thistle Colts held open meetings with parents of the P1 to U16s girls teams regards to the transition to ICTWFC. Much of it was assurances regards to child protection and other stringent policies and procedures ICT have. There was also positive discussion regarding the future integration of the girls into the club, including securing the let for training facilities into 2023. Credit where it's due, a lot of effort has gone into making this happen from ICT, Thistle and the many volunteer coaches that support the girl's squads (though it was stated it was actually an easy decision for the club to make in many ways). If the things mentioned come to fruition there is a very bright future for the women's and girls' game in Inverness.
  15. Great to hear that training is good and that all we need is some luck because apparently we've just been unlucky for the last 660 minutes.

Girls were delighted to be back last week. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/pictures-caley-thistles-new-girls-squads-get-back-on-the-268088/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  17. The club won't act on Dodds until at least the end of the season, if at all. Don't expect them to do anything. We've no money to pay someone off and get yet another high earning employee. We'll be paying for 3 managers simultaneously lol.
  18. To be fair to County even when we were a better football team than them they were always better and more professional off the pitch. Stadium, catering, hospitality, connection to local businesses, local promotion etc were always way better than us.
  19. If accurate I can't side with Roddy on this. Regardless of if you're happy with your boss or not don't just stop showing up at work. That's ridiculous and petulant. Hopefully it's just rumours though.
  20. Indeed. According to Dodds we've been unlucky for 11 games and if only we had got an early goal we'd be pumping teams 4-0. He said the 2nd half yesterday we were 'excellent'. Granted we weren't terrible but if conceding a goal and scoring nothing is excellent well he's clearly in la la land.
  21. So nothing confirmed? Is it the pitches by IRA / Rollerbowl thing? Hopefully that comes off.
