Thing is as well, what will the dressing room be like when the local guys know that he doesn't really want or rate them them but is only using them out of necessity. Hardly going to be good for the 'togetherness'. Perhaps with his fantastic managerial skills and man management that we've seen, he'll pull it all together
-
They won't. I contacted the SLO and was told that they can't comment in individual contracts. So pretty much the usual from the club. No answer, you'll find out (probably in the press) when it happens. Shame because even if for example there were assurances he would be gone before the end of the month I would probably just renew before I end up spending the money on something else.

I can see what they were going for and I generally like stripes but the black sleeves and the 8 bit blocky graphics of the black looks rubbish. Bit of a mess, may look better in person. So this is a special 30 year anniversary strip? Don't see much special about it.

If I recall most weren't asking for Morrison to go. Gardiner certainly and he hasn't gone, he's still there. I have asked the club how long his notice is and told that it's confidential . Kelty too once it was announced 3 weeks ago has gone yeah, but they deserve absolutely no credit for that as it was an absolutely ludicrous idea that if like any normal club had even a modicum of communication with their fans would know. Ferguson should walk for his abject failure and having the brass neck of being paid £240,000 in the Championship but then why should he when the custodians of our apparently skint club have offered that disgusting amount. I won't be giving a penny until Gardiner is GONE and there are assurances that our accounts are in order and submitted. The fact that my season ticket is more expensive this year after relegation plus after their announcement which shows no accountability nor apology has not softened my view. 15 year season ticket holder and I'm not rich enough to throw way £400 on a whim and have plenty things I could do on a Saturday afternoon between my coaching and family duties.

What happened with Loch Ness, they seemed quite successful and had really sweet strips.
-
Indeed and for a board who complained it was impossible to bring players up here so that the football side would have to move to Kelty, this is hardly making it appealing to any future players!

Neither is the resignation of the Chairman or the CEO or a great many other things

Why would they sack Gardiner? Not long before quitting and leaving us in this state The (former) Chairman said that Gardiner had been 'loyal' and had been doing a good job. That terrified me because it clearly demonstrated the huge disconnect between the board and the reality of the situation with the fans and Gardiner. Did he not hear fans singing 'Gardiner GTF' week after week? The first thing I thought any half decent board would do after relegation would be to get rid of Gardiner but nope, we doubled down and with 'delight' announced the Kelty move. Personally I think it was just easier for them to employ him, let him tell them how amazing he was doing. Nobody seemed to ever have the backbone to question him, his decisions, his attitude, his methods or his recruitment. Some people have been saying for years he's detrimental to the club, nobody listened. Just pathetic all round.

The cobbled together rules are somewhat contradicting. These rules in concert would effectively mean that any club having any kind of insolvency event would have to close its doors for 3 years, which would be absolutely ridiculous. Unless I'm missing something here?
-
Thing is he's not gone, he's hanging on like a dried on skid mark on a toilet bowl. He's created a situation where he's held so much control that everything has to go through him and he's the only one 'able' to much of the processes. DD about has expressed this much better than I can. My red line is as it has been for months, no ST until he's gone. He's still there slithering around.

I'm shocked we haven't put out the club shop opening hours! Something must be badly wrong.
-
Of Morrison, Gardiner and Ferguson, Morrison was the last one I wanted to resign. Gardiner should have been fired and Ferguson should have had some dignity and walked.
-
If the Kelty move is going ahead then it makes sense for them to cut the local guys as much as possible as they will be awkward re the training situation. Do we have to accommodate them through the week down the road, spend hours travelling or just train separately? (which would be ridiculous)
-
This is, while I appreciate what Morrison is put financially into the club I have zero sympathy. He's created this situation or at the very least allowed it to come about through the business genius of Gardiner. We are moving to Kelty because it's the ONLY way we can survive apparently. Yet we've probably spent the best part of £500k on Gardiner since he came, and for what exactly? He's here to develop partnerships and further the club and has done the polar opposite. We've kept on Robertson as some kind of weird Sporting Director when he couldn't cope with continuing as manager. Thereafter he did the grand total of fk all other than cut the grass at the IRA - and we're still paying him! We give Dodds a contract extension on the basis that he got the SC Final, even though we only made it due to a clerical fk up. We then sacked him 6 games later - and are still paying him to this day. We bring in a 'big name' manager out of left field with next to no Scottish Football knowledge or experience and a history of failure and relegation. Allegedly on £4k a WEEK (OVER £200K A YEAR!) Confirmed by Morrison not to be covered by a Director but paid by the club. This big name then seems to be totally stubborn re his tactics and player selection, never learns from his mistakes and gets us relegated. Even if he takes a significant pay cut he'll still not be on less than £100k a year. Absolutely astonishing array of terrible decisions time after time. Nobody has more blame for your lost million plus quid than you Ross and regardless it sure as fk isn't the fans. We must be among the least demanding fans in the country. All we wanted was to be listened to, paid some respect and appreciation. Failed on all counts.

This is on the money. I absolutely believe that no positive change will happen at the club until Morrison manages to see the light with Gardiner and bin him. I really can't fathom why he is so besotted by him, he has a constant, long running record of failure in every aspect. He's soured every relationship the club as and I can't think of one thing that he's done which has improved the club. However Morrison says that he's 'been loyal to the club' well I'd be loyal too if my employer was paying me allegedly close to £100k a year and it didn't matter how big a failure I was. I can only assume Gardiner is holding one of the Chairman's children hostage or has compromising pictures or something. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! After we were relegated I fully expected to quickly hear the Gardiner was going - do we really need an expensive CEO in League 1 anyway?! Gardiner is a toxic, pathetic failure in our club who has turned us into a laughing stock and sadly after 15 years, I won't be back at Caledonian Stadium until he's gone.

** NEW DATE ** Fans Meeting: Tuesday 28 May ** NEW DATE**
Fraz replied to ICT Supporters Trust's topic in Caley Thistle
Really!? -
No. If we go bust it's our fault, or apparently the fault of the Supporters Trust if they encourage it. But certainly not his or Gardiner's for their epic trail of failures, or Ferguson's for his inability to learn from mistakes. It absolutely blows my mind that somehow Morrison sees Gardiner as indispensable because it's all hands on deck. Instead we move the day-to-day day down to Kelty which suits our Manager to the ground.
