  1. We're not allowed to say *****?!
  2. Me too, but: On pizza = good thing Managing a football club = bad thing
  3. A Celtic supporting colleague is claiming that one of our ball-boys wasn't properly registered......
  4. But we're still behind where we were at the same stage last season, on goal difference.
  5. 6 months since Celtic last lost to a Scottish side (Aberden) and 20 months since they failed to score in the league.
  6. They've been reading this forum! As Sneckboy said last Saturday: "It'll be very difficult to keep Celtic quiet for a full 90 mins next week - but if we can....we'll be close to our all-time shut-out record! Let's say we do keep a 'clean sheet' on Saturday - that will be our current 418 + 90 = 508 minutes. Tantalisingly close to our record of 513! That was set back in 2006."
  7. Fantastic result. You can only beat what's put in front of you. That doesn't apply to Celtic though, who couldn't beat what was put in front of them.
  8. According to a Facebook account of the same name, for a footballer from Port Harcourt (home of Dolphins), he actually lives in Edinburgh. Profile photo looks like him in what seems to be a Stoke away top from 2011/12.
  9. I nearly crashed into Big Marv half an hour ago! Was at the roundabout near Broxden services, presumably he was stopping there on his way up to Elgin for their game today. This vehicle pulled out when it shouldn't have done, forcing me to brake, so I had a look at who was driving and thought he looked familiar, then I noticed a Trinidad flag sticker in the back window and a personalised number plate along the lines of SOCA as in Socca Warriors. As for why he pulled out when he shouldn't have......maybe God told him to go!
  10. Dundee Evening Telegraph has reported that St Johnstone are looking at our former trialist Ayina.
  11. Or the unsafest, given his history of injuries.
  12. Dargo's goals per game ratio: At ICT: 0.6 After ICT: 0.1 What a waste of talent. All because St Mirren offered a higher wage.
  13. Started already, Marc Klok released. It was only a matter of time.......
  14. Sorry for reviving this old thread - well I'm not actually, cos it still makes great reading I was surprised to see the other day that Steve Marsella is still at Hibs - but he has effectively been demoted, now reporting in to Graeme Mathie who Alan Stubbs has brought in to be responsible for scouting and recruitment. It appears that Stubbs was pretty appalled at the scouting set-up he inherited, saying that player recruitment will no longer be done "based on Wikipedia and one person's opinion." Ouch!
  15. Best result doesn't mean biggest winning margin though! Personally I think our best result there was 1-0 in the cup when we were in division 1, with Barry Wilson's magnificant 60 yarder.
  16. What an optimist he is! Scored with a deflected effort when it was 5-0 in the 2nd half, but runs into the net to retrieve the ball and sprints back to the half way line, punching the air towards the Utd fans as if to say the comeback is on!
  17. Saw our goals on Sky, 2 very nice strikes.
  18. But is it a bandwagon or a rollercoaster?!
  19. Fact: barring a major detour, the wins today and last Saturday are the only games under Hughes that could be celebrated with a stop at Auchterarder chippie!
  20. This sounds like one of our best performances under Hughes.
  21. Technically he wasn't snapped up from Liverpool, they released him in May! Remains to be seen how well he does up here - did OK at Hearts, at 21 he should still be improving and of course he's 6'6", BUT last season he only scored 1 goal from 20 appearances for Yeovil and Walsall.
  22. Marius Niculae has left Ukranian side Hoverla (3 goals from 14 appearances last season) to join Sanliurfaspor in Turkey's 2nd flight.
  23. A disappointing 0-0. Can't help thinking we'll be seeing a lot of those this season!
  24. Incidentally, I see that SC Paderborn are now in the Bundesliga - that's one of the teams Lionel Djebi-Zadi played for between leaving County and joining us. Perhaps German league football's not such a high standard after all!
