A pox on him. (to be contracted in June)

JH's interview also suggests that 48 less 39 is 11. (For the record, we were 5 points ahead of Hamilton this morning, so the gap is now 8.) Edit to add: but who cares if his arithmetic is a bit dodgy if he can turn a game at half time like that!

The first half was p1sh, and I was wondering if this was a case of "you get what you pay for". Credit to Hughes, we came out in the 2nd half having dispensed with the patient, possession approach which hadn't been working due to Hamilton pressing us all over the pitch. Pacier, much more direct approach paid dividends and Mckay spurned a couple of good chances before we deservedly (but flukily) went ahead. The second goal was so well worked - I think it was Mckay who turned down the chance to shoot from a tight angle and played it across the goal to Draper, who had a good shooting opportunity but played it back to Nicky who side footed it into the net with ease. Lovely. Did anyone else think, though, that Warren was going to get a 2nd yellow when he appeared to be a tiny bit late in a challenge? I thought there were quite a few tight calls that all went in ICT's favour, and the Hamilton fans would appear to agree.

Disgusting ICT 'fan' behaviour at Hamilton
The best course of action would have been to draw a steward's attention to it during the game. The stewards kept a very low profile (a rarity in itself), but there were some down at the front of our stand.

Fantastic day, but Brill's injury put a dampener on things. Don't be surprised if he's out for weeks/months. Looked in a lot of pain and they took ages getting him onto the stretcher. All seemed very innocuous, I think he just fell badly when jumping for a ball at the back post. Let's hope it's not as bad as I fear, and wish him a speedy recovery.

10P ENTRANCE CHARGE THIS SATURDAY!
Aye, I think they had just been relegated from the SPL but were still charging SPL prices in Div 1. I handed over a bag full of 2p coins and explained why to the guy behind the turnstile. He just asked for confirmation that it was the right amount, and let me in.

PAY WHAT YOU WANT - ST JOHNSTONE 20TH JANUARY
Aye, I was thinking the same, we'd have struggled to break 2,000 for this particular fixture at normal prices.

Sounds too good to be true, is there a catch? 10p to get in, £50 to get out?

Alas, administrators always avoid acceptable alternatives.

PITCH INSPECTION(Last Saturday's) GAME OFF
Another bright side is that the postponement increases our chances of going through January with a 100% record.

Transfer Window approaching.
St Johnstone never got their man BUT that bit of paper ended up being worth £40,000 to them, at County's expense.

On the subject of refs, I see Scotlands top refs are having a get together this week to "prepare for the 2nd half of the season" and to learn how to use vanishing spray. I kid ye not, they have had tuition, familiarisation time and practical sessions with it. Aerosols! And where is this training being held? Hampden? A hotel in the central belt? No. La Manga. That's where our poor refs are this week.

3G at TCS?
Nor should football be played on mud or sand! There's nothing better than a good grass pitch. But how often do you get a good grass pitch in Scotland, half the time?
