  1. I'd never really noticed until now how one of the eagle's wings sticks out so far to the right of the badge. Surely this breaches the Depiction of Birds of Prey Act of 1622?
  2. Are you telling me that Airdrie fans are scared of taking on this mob? http://www.lyon-court.com/lordlyon/215.180.html But seriously, these heraldic laws seem pretty ridiculous in the 21st century. As soon as I've finished my falconry I'll get one of my attendants to petition the Lord High Constable.
  3. I see Dundee have 4 games in their home city, and the other one is on telly!
  4. I'd expect us to beat Dundee and Saints if we were at home, but as it is we are away, and won't be bookies favourites for either match. Nevertheless I will be there and will hope for a perfectly achievable win each time. Anyway, if we could somehow win both games v Utd, the other matches don't really matter!
  5. Looking at our remaining 6 fixtures, I don't think there is a single game that you'd currently expect us to take 3 points from.
  6. An unexpected and very welcome point. Well done ICT!
  7. 1-1. From the club's match report: ".......With 6 minutes left a Sheerin corner fell to Stewart on the 6 yard line and he volleyed into the net from a difficult angle. From the restart Alloa stormed upfield and when Fridge failed to hold a Paul Simpson low ball Derek Clark slid it home for the equaliser. The game petered out and the Championship challenge was over. On the plus side Caley Thistle maintained their unbeaten league home record for the season and can look forward to Division One."
  8. Not quite the case as I recall. I travelled up for the game in the faint hope of seeing us win the title and wouldn't have bothered for a meaningless end of season game. I think we were only 2 points behind going into the final day, biut it was always a long shot after the previous week's result.
  9. Whatever made us click is no longer clicking. Or is no longer at the club. What's remarkable is how the first half of the season's most highly praised trio, ICT, Dundee Utd and Hamilton have all gone into freefall since losing key personnel in January. No wins in 6, 7 and league 12 matches respectively. But like with sky divers, you don't really notice how rapidly they are descending because they are all dropping at pretty much the same rate and maintaining a similar distance between them.
  10. I remember his new boss lining up against us back when Pittodrie was home!

Calais, more like! I actually spent a season going to Lille games and standing with their Ultras - my only experience of getting tear gassed!
  12. Was it the North Stand we had v Dunfermline?
  13. But didn't it also feel like a weight had been lifted.....

I'd be hoping to avoid the ones from Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia - even in July it's Baltic over there!
  15. South Stand – Adults - £23 (No Concessions in South Stand) West Stand – Adults - £15 West Stand – Concessions - £5 (U16/Over 65 and Full-Time Students)
  16. Not being cheeky but were you also present, by any chance, for Colin Stein's hatrick?
  17. Maybe we need a thread entitled "Ex-ICT players don't score"! Billy has none from 6 appearances for Wigan, and his record for NI is none from 9. Meanwhile, Torbjorn Agdestein has none from 13 appearances for Haugesund. This is on the back of none from 16 at ICT, and in the 3 years before joining us he also scored none for Brighton, none for Bath City as well as none for Norway U21s. At least he's consistent!
  18. 2 points from 4 games is undeniably poor though, especially when 3 of those games were against bottom 6 sides.
  19. Our game announced as 12.15pm on the Sunday.
  20. I'm starting to think that Dundee Utd's lawyer could even get Jeremy Clarkson cleared!
  21. I'm fairly sure I can recall hearing long ago on Radio Scotland that these panels are drawn from a pool of former players, former refs and journalists.
  22. Hibs 2-1 Livingston (Ibra Sekajja) 88th minute equaliser for Livi but they still ended up losing.
  23. Besides the result itself, and reaching our first Scottish Cup semi-final as a top flight club, we didn't pick up any yellows (or reds) so no suspensions for Hampden.
  24. Hampden geting a new pitch this month, which should suit us.
