  1. Another great win. Clean sheet, no yellows, 58% possession, 10 corners, 20 attempts on goal. Great stuff. Just imagine where we'd be this season with a goalscoring striker!
  2. I think the point DC is making is that some/many of the people who will be getting in for a fiver would, without the promo, have been going to the game anyway and paying full price. So whilst the crowd should go up a bit as a result of the offer, overall takings might actually be lower. For the offer to pay for itself and generate the same gate receipts, you roughly need 75% of the uptake to be people who wouldn't otherwise be going to the game (ie 3 new people paying £5 each is what you need to offset 1 regular attendee getting in for £15 less than usual).
  3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29734001 Dundee Utd have said that Paul Paton and Mark Wilson will not be part of the Utd squad to face ICT pending an investigation of their involvement (or otherwise) in the Lukasz Zaluska incident reported here : http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/celtic-goalie-lukasz-zaluska-sports-4479811 "A number of footballers are known to have been in Ashton Lane at the time of the incident. They included Dundee United players Mark Wilson and Paul Paton, St Mirren midfielder Jim Goodwin and former Stenhousemuir goalie Chris McCluskey." What's the attraction of this Ashton Lane that makes it a magnet for footballers?!
  4. As a small company we aren't required to disclose very much information at all, whereas a stock market listed plc has a whole raft of additional requirements in their accounts. There's actually nothing to stop ICT including the kind of additional info you suggest if the directors wanted to, but why would they? They will say it is commercially sensitive, for example there's nothing to be gained from publicising to our rivals what we spend on player wages. All that matters is that these figures are available to the relevant people at the club!
  5. Good result, well done team.
  6. ^^^ Went into the ladies by mistake.
  7. That looks an absolutely cracking game of football! Plenty of neat play from both sides, I particularly liked our swift counterattack starting with the save around 2:30, almost a lovely goal.
  8. A table which Davide Xausa tops. Only if you are talking about the Championship! Premier League contains: Juanjo Dani Sanchez Lionel Djebi-Zadi Owain Tudur Jones Marco de Barros Conor Pepper Sergei Baltacha Aidan Chippendale Andre Martins Claude Gnakpa Dean Brill Roman Golobart Bobby Mann
  9. He ranks very high in the ICT league table of cool/exotic player names.
  10. Apparently he's leaving Watford after only eight games in charge! Gone after 8 days, not even 8 games!
  11. Regarding the 2 previous trialist strikers mentioned in that article, I see Marlon Jackson has since signed for Oxford City, but I can't find any trace of the young Nigerian Dare Ayodele.

    Eva Carneiro.

If we could somehow loan in Chelsea's physio, I'd be there every week along with thousands more. What's that you say, a groin strain?
  14. Is this a bad time to remind everyone of ICT's complete inability in the last few years to come from behind?
  15. Very original and humourous banner from long suffering Newcastle fans at Swansea today!
  16. If you ever went on Mastermind I would suggest that your chosen specialist subject should not be TV quiz shows, because "Bambi" actually presented University Challenge, and I only know that because I can remember the episode of the Young Ones when they went on it!
  17. We conceded the same number of goals today as Peterhead did, and they were 3 players short for most of the match!
  18. This would be a good day to rediscover the knack of how to keep a clean sheet.
  19. St J are a very decent team, so this is a darn good win after our 2 recent disappointments.
  20. Been along time since the treble was "off" so early in the season.
  21. That international break has a lot to answer for. What's happened?
  22. I think we have hit a new low, or a new high, when it comes to kit designs. This is what a ladies cycling team had to wear in the Tour of Tuscany. Sorry I don't have it in higher resolution. They aren't actually naked, it's flesh coloured material with a few adornments. Now, I can see how in a brainstorming session some bright spark might suggest this sort of kit just for a laugh, but they probably didn't expect the bosses to think hmmm yes, that's a great idea, not at all inappropriate!

Hopefully more fans rather than more scouts!

Fantastic, thoroughly deserved. Particularly pleased (and surprised) for Draper because players doing his role seldom grab the limelight and get these awards.
