Dundee -V- I.C.T.
Aye, it was inevitable that Colin Pish was gonna score against us. Over the last 10 years he has been a thorn in our side for Clyde, Killie, Hibs and now Dundee. The only surprise is that he never scored against us when he was at Hartlepool!

Yes they were very important, and the 2nd looked quite spectacular - but at the risk of sounding uncharitable, I would expect any SPL keeper to have made those saves.

Roberts was really good when he got the ball, as ever. But I guess the reason for subbing him is that he can't be relied upon defensively, and his overall workrate wasn't very good tonight IMO. I was surprised that it was Shane who was brought on, especially after being out for a few weeks, but fair play, he did pretty well and caused problems.

Rest assured, this was a very good performance. Granted, there were a few scary moments at the back when it was 2-1, but we were the better team from start to finish, with the quality of our attacking in a different league to theirs. Which it will be next season, literally. Got to praise Andy Shinnie for such a classy display. Superb close control, the ball was sticking to his foot and he got us through their defence countless times with a combination of neat one-twos and direct running. My MotM.

Am I right in saying we've never won at Dens? (I'm setting this up for someone to reply at 9.30pm saying "No, you're wrong.)- Away Day - Ticket and Travel Info
Ah right. I thought you were talking about the Dundee game!- Dundee v ICT pre-match build up

Tickets won't be a problem, but that's one helluva wander you are planning.- FOUND HIM! Lionel Djebi-Zadi
Incidentally, Sriwijaya have an international standard stadium with 40,000 capacity, and are Indonesia's reigning champions. However they have since lost the league's player of the season and top scorer, the legendary Keith Gumbs, a 40 year old from St Kitts.- FOUND HIM! Lionel Djebi-Zadi
I continue to stalk the Lionel King, and would you believe it, after being off the radar for a couple of years he now turns up at another exotic club! He is due to arrive in Indonesia tomorrow to sign for Sriwijaya. I like this (translated) quote from the club, and wonder if they really know what to expect : "Lionel was playing in France, one of the best competitions in the world." Well, technically, Reunion is part of France. Another interesting point is that they operate a quota system for foreign players and he is replacing another ex-ICT player, Thierry Gatheussi, who is quoted in one article as saying LDZ is his best friend. Sriwijaya asked him all about LDZ and he (perhaps unsurprisingly) gave a glowing recommendation. The two players evidently have the same agent, and Sriwijaya happily announce that the agent says "Lionel is better than Thierry". Good luck to all concerned.- Away Day - Ticket and Travel Info
Gangnam Style? I'll be driving back to Perth after the game and can offer SotonICT a door to door service, with no singing or horse related actions, if that is preferable.- Dundee v ICT pre-match build up

- Roberts extending his stay?
"He has settled in very well. He's a big threat and he's got a lot of pace. He's an Arsenal player, so he's very comfortable with the ball. He's got different hairstyles as well, which is quite nice." Versatile hair, that's what we've lacked all these years.- Next Scotland Manager
Is this the first time in about 20 years that Stuart Baxter isn't being mentioned as a contender?!- Cheapest day out in the SPL?
The amount of entertainment per £ compares very favourably too, with the average of 3.6 goals per game at TCS so far this season being 3 times whatthey have been treated to over in shadowlands.- Next Scotland Manager

Cost breakdown for all clubs can be found here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19842397- Cheapest day out in the SPL?
According to this BBC survey, the cost of the cheapest adult ticket, plus a programme, a pie and a cup of tea is just £20.50 at TCS, making it the cheapest in the SPL. I seem to recall that we "won" this survey last year too, although there are question marks on the actual like-with-like comparability of what they are trying to achieve. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19980890 Fans travelling to Dens tomorrow should be warned of the £3 pehs.- Next Scotland Manager
Some fair points by Dad, BUT Levein has been manager since 2009 and his best result in a competitve match is a 1-0 home win against Lithuania. An absolutely appalling record by any standards, and far worse than Vogts or Burley. I agree its all about 2016 now, which is why he should go now to let the new guy settle in, and hopefully stop us dropping into the 5th pot of balls for future campaigns. A dead man walking for the rest of this campaign, in front of an empty Hamden, isn't good for anyone. Some might say Levein hasn't had much luck, but do we really want to stick with an unlucky manager?!- Next Scotland Manager
If like me you'd never heard of Antoine Kombouare (28/1) he's managed various French clubs and is currently at a Saudi club. Can't see any reason for him to be in contention for the Scotland job other than he played for Aberdeen in the 90s.- Next Scotland Manager
Strachan is the bookies hot favourite. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/scotland-specials/next-permanent-manager Some amusing entries on that list, like Steve Patterson, Berti Vogts and Ally McCoist.- Next Scotland Manager
The good news is that there are better realistic candidates on the market than there were when we appointed Burley or Levein. I'd happily take McLeish or Smith back. And like them, Strachan also fits the profile of having a lot of management experience against foreign teams, which is something our recent duds have lacked. I've always been a bit unconvinced that Dalglish would be a good Scotland manager but I'd be happy for him to get a chance. Stuart McCall has had a few mentions for having done so well at a wee club, and there's Billy Davies too, but neither meet my criteria. Whilst I have sympathy for Levein, it's hard to imagine that any serious contender could have ****ed up this campaign as quickly and comprehensively as he has, so for me the most important thing is that they replace him.- U20s results since Killie
Hibs had a player sent off in the first half but apparently still dominated the game, their coach claiming they had 7 to 10 good chances. - Dundee v ICT pre-match build up
