  1. Yet another disappointing 1-1 at home. Still, it won't matter when Hearts results get erased.
  2. Not even Andre Martins? I'd forgotten all about him. It was mentioned here that he was training with us quite a few weeks ago but I don't rememeber any announcement or confirmation that he had actually signed.
  3. ET then "kicks from the penalty mark."
  4. Yngwie replied to AJS's topic in Caley Thistle
Presumably as a replacement for Derby forward Chris Ward who pulled out of the squad yesterday? WC Qualifier v Azerbaijan next week. He'll be quite some way down the pecking order and below even some SFL3 players, but he has indeed been on great form recently and this is good recognition for his efforts.
  5. The game is confirmed as a 3pm kick off on the Saturday.
  6. Whilst it is understandable and admirable that fans are willing to put money into Hearts, it is a very irrational investment decision. Even if they raise £2m to get them through to the end of the season and then cut their ludicrous wage bill, they still have crippling debts and the HMRC claim for £2m undeclared taxes. And if the share issue succeeds, the new investors only get 10% of the company, meaning that it is being valued at £20m! The company is worth the same as Rangers was, £1 at the most. If I was an investor I'd wait til the liquidation and then put money into the newco. Sevco 5089?
  7. Until the Pitlochry Superdome gets built we are always going to travel further than our opponents for games like this.
  8. A more sensible question would be who's NOT going.
  9. I see that Cammy Bell's red card has been rescinded.
  10. Easter Rd = bigger crowd = more money for ICT and a better atmosphere too. It doesn't bother me that the other fans have less distance to travel, lucky them, but its not as if we are being asked to travel further than for any other realistic alternative venue.
  11. In the last couple of days it looks like this has become a pretty likely scenario.
  12. Draw now being shown live here http://sport.stv.tv/...inal-draw-live/ Unknown man in suit currently standing around with his arms folded.
  13. There's nothing to stop Murrayfield being used if it is available, but the SFA (understandably) prefer to keep money in football rather than give it to the SRU.
  14. I don't think Hearts are in a position to be picky about whose money they accept, but I do like the irony of their relationship with a payday lender. This lending market is distasteful but perfectly legal, and helps a lot of people when they need cash and have no legitimate alternative. If you don't like it, the constant TV advertising is surely more of an issue than shirt sponsorship!
  15. Incidentally for those who couldn't access the BBC highlights of our win at Ibrox, they are now up on the SFL website. And for those who could access them, watch them again anyway. Ours is the first game and there is about 5 minutes of coverage. http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/sfltv/league-cup/
  16. It's about time we got drawn at home.
  17. With soap In your parts....
  18. I hope the firm that runs their team bus is demanding cash upfront.
  19. Chickens are coming home to roost in Gorgie. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20241385 Fairly dramatic language being used, and quite a turnaround from last week's claim that "Administration is not on the agenda". £450,000 owed to HMRC who have now a lodged a winding-up order. So they are basically bust even before taking into account the £2m HMRC are claiming with regard to undeclared PAYE. It's Rangers all over again.
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20240232 See the photo they are using in the article - was this the moment when Doran fired in the 3rd goal in thre last derby? It certainly looks like Tokely is saying "FFFFFFFFFF......................"
  21. 12.15 kick off according to the SFA website.
  22. The Dundee semi was on a Sunday, I'm pretty sure.
  23. Good question. Was one of our Hampden cup semis not shown live? I have a vague recollection of setting the video* for one game I attended, the Dundee one perhaps, but it didn't work for some reason, and I'm sure it was before I had digital TV. * Younger fans should ask their dad to explain.
  24. I bloody hope not, spelling mistakes in banners lowers us to the level of Celtic's "Green Birgade".
