  1. SMEE, could you please PM a link too? Thanks
  2. Just read these interesting comments from our captain saying that he's disappointed by the lack of support the team are getting. Our crowds this season have been poor when you take into account how well the team have been doing and the potential catchment area that we have. So, how do we improve this? Lets use this thread to think up ideas that the club could possibly explore to increase the crowds.
  3. http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/673-scottish-cup-4th-round-draw I see the club have released ticket prices. £15 Adults, £10 Concession and £5 for under 12's. Good prices. Lets get a good crowd through the gates and cheer the team into the next round.
  4. Great atmosphere yesterday. Hope we can re-create it for the replay as the players obviously respond to it. Love hearing the McKay song belting out after he scores. Great to see everyone getting involved in the songs.
  5. Just back in from the game and WOW! We almost caught ourselves out a few times with silly balls back to Reguero (who's kicking was poor tonight) but going forward, we looked like Barcelona compared to Sevco. The movement from Shinnie, Doran and McKay in particular was very impressive and created havoc for Sevco's defence. Mention must also go to McKay. He maybe isn't the most talented footballer we have ever had but my goodness he works hard. He runs the channels, holds the ball up well and is playing with a real confidence. Get him finishing his chances and we have a top striker on our books. Jones and Draper once again dominated in the middle and really commanded the play (why did we ever want Black back?). The back four is really starting to gel and work well as a unit. Meekings started off poorly but much improved as the game went on. Garry Warren...what a signing he has been! Didn't give McCulloch a sniff at any time and led the defence in a way that we haven't had since Darren Dods or arguably better than we've ever had. Both G.Shinnie, who captained again tonight, and Raven supported the attack brilliantly and they equally defended solidly. Raven was perhaps a little lucky not to see red but we'll take that. From the moment we scored our 1st goal, there was ever going to be one winner. We knocked the ball round well and really dominated and had a grip on play. Hard to fault any of the players and we stood out by miles as the better footballing team. Brilliant performance and long may it continue! Must also mention the away crowd tonight. Great atmosphere from the fans tonight, the players undoubtably appreciated it and responded to it. A highlight for me was the second goal were G.Shinnie came to take the corner, acknowledged the fans, we scored and Warren celebrated like we'd won the cup! Great moment! Any stay away fans are really missing out on great football here and a great atmosphere tonight. Finally, we have always been a club that has relied heavily on team spirit...the last couple of years have been tough and it's been obvious that the players haven't quite settled but tonight...what a show of togetherness and care for the club. The celebrations at the end were brilliant. All the players, even the subs rushed over to the fans and congratulated themselves as well as each other. Tokely, Munro, Duncan etc may be gone and we can argue all about the rights and wrongs about that all we want but to even question the commitment that these guys have for the club is ridiculous! We have moved on as a club and the Warrens, Drapers, Shinnies etc are now the core of the team and my goodness they care! Brilliant stuff. Lets get these players signed up for a couple of years and see where we go...theres no stoping us at the moment! Great night and MOTM has to go to A.Shinnie for me!
  6. Are Sevco not doing students tickets?
  7. Esson Meekings Warren King G.Shinnie Jones Draper Ross A.Shinnie Doran McKay Subs: Mathieson, Raven, Morrison, Laing, Polworth, Sutherland, Oswell.
  8. Great idea and brilliant to see the club actively trying to gain additional income as well as connecting with the fans. It's time we as fans step up and buy into ideas like this in order for our club to move forward. Great effort from the club and I for one feel very positive about the steps the club have taken in the last couple of weeks. The club must be praised for initiatives such as this, the youtube partnership, the print store etc. Well done to all involved

  11. Good to see that Ryan Esson has signed for two more years. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Goalkeeper-agrees-new-deal-with-Caley-Thistle-17052012.htm
  12. I think he was offered a deal but I don't remember him ever signing it. I also see from Twitter that he's moving house and is currently down South.
  13. May be wrong but I don't think Hogg has ever signed on for this season. Meekings was signed for two years so he'll be about next season.
  14. We've all heard the excuses but we can't get past the fact that this is the worst season for injuries that an ICT squad have ever had to content with. I still believe that there is a good core to the team and that we can build upon this for next season. I would therefore look to have a squad that consists of the following: Esson G Shinnie Gillet Tokely Meekings Hogg Golobart (If deal can be extended) Tansey Foran OTJ Morrison A Shinnie Hayes Doran Ross McKay Tade Sutherland Needing: 1x Second Choice Keeper (possibly just use current U19, Mathieson or Baldy) 1x Commanding Centre Half (preferably with some experience) 1x Centre Midfielder 1x Winger 1x Goal Scoring striker (Priority) Let go of: Proctor Piemayr Williams Winnall
  15. I don't often get time to post on here but I do like to keep up to date with my fellow fans opinions and I can more than identify with the frustration that is filling all of us at the moment. I'm not the first and I certainly won't be the last to say that this has quite possibly, with exception the relegation year, been the worst season that ICT have ever experienced. With expectations raised by our current manager at the start of the season, we went into the campaign expecting a lot. The season has been marred by serious injuries, like no other ICT squad have ever had, a lack of consistency but the bottom line is that the reason we're sitting where we are is down to a lack of fight, passion, desire and quite frankly ability within the current squad. It truly has been a miserable season but while many may chose to turn their back on ICT, I for one am trying to look forward to next season. Our SPL status is almost certainly secure and we now have a very important few months ahead of us as we try and re-group as a club and build a squad that is capable of challenging at a higher level next season. We as supporters may feel that criticising Butcher is the correct thing to do but the bottom line is that he will not be leaving in the next few months and it's time that we suck it up and get behind OUR CLUB and choose to support the team whatever it may look like. Whether people want Butcher here or not really isn't the issue as late Dundee United chairman Eddie Thompson said "Directors, managers and players come and go but the supporters stay with the club forever". This is OUR club and our loyalty shouldn't depend on who is managing the team or playing on the pitch. We're about to be joined by our Highland neighbours in the top flight for the first time ever. This is the time that we must unite and back our club (including manager and players) to make sure that we stay the Highlands top and most successful team. That starts with the supporters continued loyalty! So where all seems dull and bleak, let's look on next season as a fresh start for the club and an opportunity for further Highland success. Who knows maybe just maybe we'll be pushing for a European place this time next year!
  16. Tuffey Meekings-Williams-Golabart-Gillet Foran-Jones Hayes-Winnall-Tade McKay Subs: Mathieson, Proctor, Piermayr, Gnakpa, Ross, Doran, Sutherland
  17. Has anyone been keeping an eye on how he has been doing down at Swindon Town? I've noticed he's not made the squad too often since signing. Maybe injury has struck him again?
  18. Esson Meekings Williams Gillet Shinnie Foran Jones Hayes Tansey Ross McKay Subs: Tuffey, Piermayr, Tokely, Winnall, Gnakpa, Sutherland, Tade.
  19. It's great to read this morning that Chris Hogg will be offered a new contract by the club. I'm delighted the club are doing this as I feel when fit, Chris is our best defender and can be very influential for us. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Hogg-to-be-offered-new-contract-by-ICT.htm
  20. Reckon it'll be along the lines of this: Esson Piermayr Golabart Gillet Shinnie Cox Tansey Hayes Ross Tade McKay
  21. Assuming Proctor, Piermayr and Meekings are still out, i'd go with this: Esson Cox---Tokely---Golabart---Gillet Ross---Tansey Hayes---Shinnie---Foran ---Tade--- Subs: Tuffey, Shinnie, Morrison, Chippendale (If fit), Sutherland, McKay. I've seen Gillet play CB and really wasn't convinced so i'd prefer to see Cox slip in at RB. I'd also go with Tade and leave McKay on the bench. I think Tade can hassle the Rangers defence whereas I see McKay being pushed of the ball and bullied by their defence.
  22. Thanks. Does anyone know if they do student prices?
