Our Prayers Could be Answered
I don't think we have really asked the question Why would D M lie about getting his decsiion right. I believe it was nothing to do with Mr Lennon I think it was about pressure from the supervisor sitting in the stand. It is his account of how the referee performed that weighs on the mind of the match official. These people have alot of power over the ref. They see it from a totally different perspective, and at times the officals can loose track of whats happening because they wonder how does it look. I know I have been a victim of this system.

Our Prayers Could be Answered
The problem we have now is if dougie Macdonald does the right thing and goes it would then seem like Celtic have won the arguement and they would then feel that their stance has been justified so we are now between a rock and a hard place. The thing I have difficulty with is that players seem to think it is ok to cheat, to attempt to get opponents sent off if Mr Reid is so righteous he should start with the players sort them out make the game better to watch and easier to referee.

More from Richie?
The odd thing about saturday was that I felt we played some of the best football since the Pele era. If we had taken our chances it could of been all over by half time. A bit concerned about Hayes seems to be only able to manage 45mins of magic then disappears. Having said that I don,t grudge Motherwell their win good team run by a good manager

The two Rooneys
Well thats the end of that then. I believe he was offered his own airport as part of the deal but it was turned down because he has a fast jet and Kinloss was for slow jets. He was also offered his own estate but felt that 300 houses was not quite what he wanted. Of the two Rooneys which one would he of been the fat one with glasses of the really small one who uses junior golf clubs. I really think we were wise to stick with the one we have got, the other one would have just got in his way. We would also have had to spent money, we would need to raise the Kessock Bridge to allow him to get his head through. :tongueincheek:

Question St Mirren
It would appear that the St Mirren game is an all ticket match, The St Mirren website say and I quote "home fans can purchase their tickets from some counter." Inverness fans can pickup their tickets from another counter" I read into this we have to purchase our tickets before we go to the game. This info from St Mirren website ticket info. Any thoughts?

How to play at home
It would appear we carried on from midweek, although we won it was't impressive. Hamilton passed and moved, we humped and hoped. I don't think anyone came out of that game with any credit. Rooney chased lost causes but cannot fault him for effort, Ross did his best but after that to many players went missing. It would appear that the back four don't have the confidence in the mid field to be creative so they just pass it to Grant who then humps it up the field. We need a play maker someone who can put his foot on the ball and pick a pass.

Transfer Deadline
We need another out and out striker there is a lot of pressure on Rooney, so long as he is scoring its fine, but if he has a lean spell he might try to hard when maybe a rest would be better.

Inverness CT 0-0 Real Valladolid (FT)
JEE WHIZZZZZ and the season hasn't started yet. If this is a sample of what we are to expect on the forum, the players are going to have perform to the highest standards. We will need to be taken over by the chinese at least they could give us some varitey on the pie front. The stewards will need to wear top hat and tails and be everso polite. Come on guys this is football Inverness style, we clap when we notice something good as we did on Tuesday night!!!!!!!!

Inverness CT 0-0 Real Valladolid (FT)
Off the theme slightly I hope they are going to keep that sound system on the go for the rest of the season. What a blast.

1st Division winners medals
At the point he left us we didn't look like we would win the league, so I don't believe he should get one. I have met him on several occasions outside football and found him to be a very nice quy but would still stick by what I have said.

Our SUPERMAN
Not only did he play well as a centre back he allowed Granty to regain his confidence after having to cover for a Fenchman and a Latvian not knowing what was going to happen next.

Talking about Pies
I would hope we have Britains best football pie on sale next year. Macdougall and Hastie have done it again. We need a campaign to ensure we have local pies for local people. :P :) :)

We must be heading for the Guinness book of records for the number of testimonials we have been involved in. It just demonstrates the family type of club we are.

Winning ugly
I am not sure whether I prefer winning ugly or losing with flare, I suppose 3 points justify the means to an end but......... Whenever hayes got the ball he was closed down by 2 opponents which left somone spare, nobody ever showed up, we seem to have no idea what to do when we had a throw in, we have a static mid field who seem to be better at defending than creating anything in attack. Rooney up front chasing scrapes it goes on, a man of the match who really should have been substituted at half time along with others, on tuesday we played with flair and commitment so what went wrong. It cannot be just the loss of foran. We will be slaughted if we play like that against ross county,
