  1. I would have thought both Killie and 'Well would have offered more?
  2. Don't like the red stripe across, doesn't look like a proper stripey top any more, looks like a red top with some blue shapes on it. Maybe they should have gone for all the stripes running across, just to be different. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I will not be buying one. Does anyone know what impact this will have on the appearance of the limited edition away tops?
  3. At the moment, with no sign of a decent striker on the horizon, I am happy just to survive. And if Motherwell can bring a striker over from Hamburg, why can't we start looking at other European leagues? At the moment, we might as well just merge with County to stop having to pay transfers :010:
  4. Aberdeen we need to beat. Gretna we need to utterly destroy. AND we need to make sure we have a good away support at Fir Park. Being outumbered by Gretna fans would be horrific.
  5. My thoughts exactly.......
  6. On the subject of singing, it occurred to me in the shower this morning, as "One Man Went To Mow" wafted through my semi-consciousness, that OMWTM could be personalised easily by the simple change to eg "One man went to sh*g, went to sh*g St Mirren/United/the Buddies/the Arabs" etc. Also giving the opportunity to make the song even longer, as you need to go up to 11.
  7. Thanks guys :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:
  8. That's an absolutely crap figure. From where I was standing (oops, sitting), about a third of the way down, I would guess more like 250. Mantis :019:
  9. Great to have a singing section back for away games, and a big turnout compared to the last few. A deserved result :021: And good to see the Marchers. Well done all :clapping03: Don't suppose anyone has a photo of my balloons getting the first goal? :023: :dancing01:
  10. I asked over the phone last week when I was buying tickets and was told they may be ready in July....
  11. IHE said Away games are now so quiet that you can actually hear the sweeties being sucked....we need a singing section at away games now so the six of us who want to sing can stick together :007:
  12. Just bought mine over the phone just now.... sorry Clacher, would have offered to take the chance for you if I'd read this first....
  13. MOM was Kaspar Schmeichel for that fantastic strop after he miskicked the ball out and had a major temper tantrum at his defence. Far more entertaining than the football. :015:
  14. Me The bridge is AWFUL. Took an hour to go a mile last Saturday.
  15. So it was you teaching old men and children to sing "We don't give a feck..." :015: :015: :015: I was singing as well. So that was probably six of us. Toni was class :022: but it WAS dire for an away support. We used to be SO much noisier...
  16. Thanks guys, I'll forward the links to the other site. Can't bear to be outdone by Gretna :014:
  17. This is a pretty cool site, but there isn't a single strip for ICT :019: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Scottish_F...tland_Index.htm
  18. "Charlie Christie and his Midfield Midgets" Great name for a jazz band :022:
  19. In general, in the mainstream central belt media, no-one gives a sh*t about anyone outside the OF. So these are the only games the commentators/journalists actually notice. And as they all have their heads up the backsides of the OF, they have to make it sound as if any good results for us are freak results. Next :015:
  20. Dunfermline to stay up - hopefully still rubbishy enough to be a buffer for us, and 15 minutes from my house by motorway. And we could then offer John Sutton SPL football.
  21. I'm a pessimist. D-L-L-W-D 5 points Think the last game will depend very much on the St Midden v Dumpfermline situation. If they're safe, I might stretch it to a win... What is really depressing, is that no-one thinks we can beat Dundee United :019:
  22. buckett said: That doesn't mean there is anything racist in their actions (I'm not sure if you're implying there is). I can still remember seeing a black man for the first time in Nairn when I was about fourteen. I was probably very rude and stared at him. I sincerely hope he didn't think I had a single negative thought about him. I didn't. He just, for obvious reasons, stood out from the crowd. I was in southern India a few years ago, and being pale skinned and blond has the same effect there. Everyone looks. If someone looks different, for ANY reason (punks, goths, excessively fat) people will stare.
  23. I agree with Harry. And post split, with nothing much to play for, is even worse. Whoopee, Dunfermline again :017: I'd also like to see a bigger league, with teams playing home and away only, and more promotion/relegation slots. The current format of the Scottish league system is a joke. We don't need four divisions. Two bigger 'main' leagues with feeders from below, would be a huge improvement. Okay, the same teams might still top the leagues, but at least the season is more interesting for supporters/players etc.
  24. Agree with all that's been said - Dods has been great, now Caff's turn, but give Dods one more game...
