  1. Dunfermline to stay up - hopefully still rubbishy enough to be a buffer for us, and 15 minutes from my house by motorway. And we could then offer John Sutton SPL football.
  2. I'm a pessimist. D-L-L-W-D 5 points Think the last game will depend very much on the St Midden v Dumpfermline situation. If they're safe, I might stretch it to a win... What is really depressing, is that no-one thinks we can beat Dundee United :019:
  3. buckett said: That doesn't mean there is anything racist in their actions (I'm not sure if you're implying there is). I can still remember seeing a black man for the first time in Nairn when I was about fourteen. I was probably very rude and stared at him. I sincerely hope he didn't think I had a single negative thought about him. I didn't. He just, for obvious reasons, stood out from the crowd. I was in southern India a few years ago, and being pale skinned and blond has the same effect there. Everyone looks. If someone looks different, for ANY reason (punks, goths, excessively fat) people will stare.
  4. I agree with Harry. And post split, with nothing much to play for, is even worse. Whoopee, Dunfermline again :017: I'd also like to see a bigger league, with teams playing home and away only, and more promotion/relegation slots. The current format of the Scottish league system is a joke. We don't need four divisions. Two bigger 'main' leagues with feeders from below, would be a huge improvement. Okay, the same teams might still top the leagues, but at least the season is more interesting for supporters/players etc.
  5. Agree with all that's been said - Dods has been great, now Caff's turn, but give Dods one more game...

Yep, great final goal against DU in the 2-4 game last season.
  7. Form goes up and down. Happens everywhere. And I get really fed up all with the whole "sack the manager after a couple of bad games" mentality. If we were facing relegation, then it would be a different matter. But we aren't, and with the resources Inverness have at their disposal, we're never going to be any more than mid-table, no matter who's in charge. I would love to think we could challenge for a European place, but we have to have some sense of reality.
  8. Wasn't blaming - just curious...
  9. Munro out for two, and two defeats. How was Caff?
  10. FFS :010:
  11. Sorry, without Foran you are up the River Poo. I hope :021: Regarding forwards, I don't know why we bought McSwegan as emergency cover when we hardly ever see him. Surely this is an emergency? Rory would be great if the goalmouth was a bit bigger.
  12. I've just heard from a friend in Germany that satellite channel Premiere will be showing a replay of the game on Monday, so I hope that we play the way we did against Hibs, but in both halves :021: OR the game will be level at the 92th minute, Boruc will be red-carded, and then we score a penalty past Brown. :022: But also wish we had Dargo :019:
  13. Thanks Fiona :021: Off to rob a bank now.
  14. Hmm, the point made by Heilandee is a bit of a downer. What if you're an XXXXL and the only person you can find who has a shirt with your name on it is an S? :024:
  15. Thanks kencar, after my first post I suddenly thought you were taking the Michael :003: Now to make the decision to have a really cool shirt, or to eat in February....
  16. :001: :001: :001: :025: :025: :025:
  17. I'm a total retard - all I can find is a link to the application form :019: :019:
  18. Stunning top (and cost :010:) - does anyone have any idea how the names will look, as I can't really visualise this?
  19. I think Michael Fraser will be absolutely fine as our #1, but if we have to look for someone else, who about Ryan Esson? Can't imagine Shrewsbury is the epicentre of the footballing universe and he might be happy to come back north.
  20. Artur Boruc
  21. All the best, Mark and thanks for your time at Inverness. You can put some of your new wealth towards some high class pile cream - sitting for long periods on a cold bench aren't good for you, as your mother should have told you.
  22. Charles and Scotty, that is fantastic - thank you very much for that. :003:
  23. I have been telling a German friend for years how Inverness has no money, how low our wages are, how Rankin was our most expensive signing at £9.99, etc. Last week he gleefully pointed out to me an article in When Saturday Comes about SPL2, where Inverness and Gretna were used as examples of clubs benefiting from cash injections from individuals. Despite my protests he now thinks we are loaded. So does anyone have any vague idea of how much David Sutherland has invested over the years, so I can convince my friend he is not Abramovich...
  24. I had a brainstorm and thought the game on the 20th was an away game, and the ticketing information gave the choice of stands - hence I'm not asking anything other than for a replacement set of brain cells.
  25. Okay, I am complete cretin who can't tell the difference between a home game and an away game :crazy04: :crazy04:
