Scotland vs Serbia and Macedonia
Highly constructive rene. The youth are in the squad now so it's not preparation for 2018 he clearly feels these lads have something to offer now in this qualification stage. And he's been the ones whos brought them through. That's where leveins sucess is. The next 2 years could be leveins last if he doesn't get to rio but he's brought the team forward from hen burley was in charge so I don't think you can call him a failure.

But he's bringing the young talent through. Even if he doesn't get us to a tournament he can say he gave players like Forrest, Rhodes, Hanley, and Dixon their chance on the international stage. That's where he's been successful for us. He's brought through the backbone of the future. For me i don't think millers got enough anymore but i have no gripes with the system. The 4-5-1 is probably the most utilised at international level and it is for a reason. It allows you to dominate games in the midfeild and with the right man up front will get you goals. Us with Rooney up top in the 4-2-3-1 for instance. We got plenty goals with that system.

Scotland vs Serbia and Macedonia
I notice a lot of people moaning about the result. Which is fair enough. But i thought the performance was good we were a decent striker away from a win imo. Miller had his peak while he was at oldco for me. Won't cut it anymore. Time for mackie or Rhodes to be given the chance or even play both up front for Macedonia. All in all not the best way to start but il take it with a long way to go yet.

Scotland vs Serbia and Macedonia
As it says on the tin. What do you think the score will be, and reaction afterwards. Myself i think well knick it. 2-1. Serbia have individuals but I think we have a well gelled team think that will take us through the game in the end.

Small crowds? Little wonder!
Who's in a rage over County getting 4000 ? People I've spoken too. Usually part time fans I must say though. I always have to explain to them how it usually works but their always in denial about it.

Is Butcher the Man for the Job?
the signs are there just not the finished article right now. In a months time we can be.

Is Butcher the Man for the Job?
Il wait and see and see in that front. Dnot know how il react if that happens but hopefully by that stage we will have gelled and will be playing very nice football.

Is Butcher the Man for the Job?
It doesn't make him invincible but it should at least buy him some time. This season is we are hurtling towards relegation or underachieving then fair enough sack him but as it stands we are in the last 16 of a cup possibly two games away from hampden, and have had a decent start to the season Motherwell and Celtic games aside. So the question shouldn't even be asked at this moment.

Is Butcher the Man for the Job?
The way I see it butcher has been here three FULL seasons and in one of them he got us promoted brilliantly and gave us our best ever league finish. So that's 2/3 very good seasons and lets be honest at the start of last season most on here said staying up would be our no 1 goal and we did so he's done his job last season whether people on here liked how he did it or not. Why sack a man for giving what fans ask for?

Adam Rooney
He'd find life back up here easy. He'd feel at home instantly and wouldnt have to prove himself to anyone. Come back adam

Small crowds? Little wonder!
Why are people in such a rage about county getting 4000? The novelty will wear off soon enough.

Small crowds? Little wonder!
Aberdeen averaged nowhere near 24000 in the heady days of the 1980's . im just guessing. i dont know i wasnt there.

U20's v Kilmarnock - Tuesday 4th - 3pm
Looking through the fixtures the highland u 20 derby is on the 9th (during the holidays) would be great if the club advertised it well and got a decent crowd to go to it.

Strange start to the season!
I've always thought a 3-5-2 would work for us. Simon king or foran as sweeper with warren and Hogg in front of them would be quite a formidable back 3, we could push g.shinnie up into a wing back role and have meekings on the right, both have very good energy, draper and owain holding with a.shinnie in front and Shane and billy up top. The way we are dominating some games I think this would be the way forward but it obviously wouldn't always work. -------------Esson --------------foran -----warren--------Hogg Meekings-----------------g.shinnie ---------draper--------otj -------------a.shinnie ---------McKay------sutherland

We're two games away from a hampden trip. Draws looking favourable not a stroll by any means but we should win. Let's get a decent turn out too. It's the last 16 c'mon. Also another caley jags away game. Il definatly be going to this one.

Strange start to the season!
Actually, I've heard the complete opposite, with County making sure cover is always provided when he moves forward. He's also been MOTM more than once this season. So You've spoken to some county fans. I'm going by the one game I seen the Celtic game where izzaguire got past him at will and Tokely was very exposed. If celtics crossing was better then they'd have won that game by going past Tokely. In my opinion of course.

Strange start to the season!
I think Tokelys getting exposed at right back for county, as for Munro I think he's solid but with him in the team were be playing a completely different brand of football, mainly aimless long balls. Warren and meekings are both very solid centre halfs I'm undecided on king yet. But think all 3 are good centre halfs the issue for me is the full backs, all season (so far) that's the area which has been exposed most.

Motherwell preview & matchday thread
At least we are going for games though, remember when we beat killie 6-3! When everytime we broke away we scored? Well today we were killie. Went for the game, attacked but got picked off. Main positive: went for a win Main negative: full backs got punished due to lack of cover from midfeild. To play like this you have to be very fit, I think early season cobwebs are still being brushed off, can see us scoring plenty but conceding a lot aswell. Does this worry me? No! At least when we look back on this season we will be able to say, "remember that game?" "yeh what a game" this seasons gonna be an entertaining one. Strap in.
