The team were training at millburn this afternoon perhaps to get used to the artificial turf. Not all the squad were there but people I did see were Gavin Morrison, Phillip Roberts, Martin laing and Aaron doran. Tel and mo observed. Didn't see many though as I was on my way out.

I don't blame the defense myself I just don't think the midfeild don't give enough cover. Not gonna complain about it though I prefer seeing all these goals I think if the midfeild were more defensively minded it would take away from our attack, however it seemed Gavin Morison gave us abit more balance on Saturday. Could be worth starting on Saturday.

Jones is banned for this game as foran was banned for the Celtic game, then the Arbroath game then made his return against Motherwell. So that means this will be his second game he's suspended for then Dundee utd his 3rd making him available for the derby.

Wasn't there but from what I've heard I'm delighted. Listened to it on the radio, very exciting game to even just listen to. Ritchie foran gets his 3rd goal in 3 games. Conor pepper his 2nd in his first start. Totally agree with most of what's been said. I said last week the same as rene that Gary warren could be one of our best centre halfs since Darren dods. I think we lacked that last year. Tokely was a great servant but not a leader and golobart was much the same he could do his job but you could see that there was no real organiser in there. Foran back to being captain fantastic after taking pelters last season, I always thought he was one of few who played for the shirt last year. All in all good result given the circumstances we can go into next weeks difficult game with confidence.

Top of the tree for me right now would be gav Morrison he been very consistent and with otj out the frame for now and foran playing up front it could be his chance to stake a claim.

But that's the point in this u20s league. To get these players ready for the first team. In all honesty I think oswell and pepper were investments more than instant inpact signings. What I've seem of oswell he can get into goalscoring positions but his all round game needs improved.

Info courtesy of Soccerbase Yes but he built up a reputation as a 'dirty player' and referees looked out for him. he's definatly had more than 1 red card in his career. I know for a fact he got one red card with us and 2 last season at hearts.
