  1. I like that interview, it's great to see he likes it here and is relishing the challenge, this seems to be a positive move all around for me, and butcher seems to really rate him could be another gem.
  2. i read killie, and st j's were among 3 spl clubs 'in talks' with him. hope we are the other.
  3. things like this used to annoy me, now i just pity the people that feel this way about visiting the nicest part of scotland. probably just jelous that we get to live up here and he doesnt.
  4. He says he wants to be involved with the first team but is eligible for youths.
  5. Just putting this out there but this isn't the finalised pre season fixtures. It's only the confirmed pre season games. I think theres Still at least one home game against better opposition to be confirmed. Coventry seems to suit. The highland league teams are always a good place to start as it just gets the team into the swing of things. The fixtures don't bother me. Signings, and avoiding injuries are the important thing for me. Maybe the club decided last season we had to many injuries and it couldve been down to playing to many more competitive games at teams at our level ie. Yeovil, aldershot etc. maybe they feel a cutback in this can prevent injuries and cut costs. Not gonna say I don't want to play better opposition but if the club feel this is an area where costs could be cut To obtain better players or just keep the club afloat then that's fine by me.
  6. Will know Hogg from their time at Ipswich and Boston aswell.
  7. he ruled it out on twitter aswell as a move to hibs. i read that there were interest from colchester and hartlepool earlier in the year, i think if he was going to aberdeen something wouldve been confirmed by now. i think its a move to england myself.
  8. Experience, versatile, would be an asset if we sign him.
  9. Obviously it was their fault as well that Levein decided not to play any strikers in Prague? If they hadn't cheated to win that penalty then that result would've been irrelevant. I see it as we done enough and had it snatched away from us by a cheating scallywag
  10. I can't believe this! It should be us for pete sakes. Fecking cheated out. I hope they win it now if they do I'm gonna run around Inverness naked shouting "Scotland are unofficial European champions" the fecking cheating scallywags!!!! *extra exclamation marks to show my anger* !!!!!!!!! scallywags scallywags scallywags.
  11. We going for the league next year?
  12. Good news showed in patches what he can do last season but was never 100% fit IMO.
  13. had me there or a minute. Great talent he's still young he could make a footballer yet. He just has to stick in.
  14. Never doubted we would! Did any of you? Not me :D The balls well and truly rolling. Let's hope their good enough to do the job next season.
  15. It's oright though in a few years well have grant Hanley and danny Wilson. And Islam feruz banging them.
  16. I think Berra should be given a bit more of a chance. I think he's technically better than McManus personally and is coming to his peak so that's my reasoning why I see Berra as a starter. We will see in the next couple years.
  17. we might sneak into euro 2016 seeing as there's gonna be 8 more teams in it! We should be there now :crying:
  18. There was never a point last season when I felt we would go down so unsure what your asking. I just had a little experiment and turned out my hypothesis was correct. Fans on here are happy to defend a player with no ties to the club but not our own manager.
  19. Are you too young to remember him tearing up the SPL? Not quite but it's easy to forget that just like its easy to forget the good butchers done when we have one bad season. Are you Butchers lovechild or something? your blind defense of him is something to behold. May i remind you....in Butchers time here, he got us relegated in his first half season here...from a situation that was salvageable, and he nigh on repeated that feat last season. So I think overall, his record is leaning toward sub-standard! Bet you weren't sayin that at the end of last season. You would've blamed the relegation on Brewster, and said butcher getting back up and close to the top six was superb. The point I'm making. Is McFadden had a great career up until the last couple seasons and because of the last couple season the rest has almost been forgotten about. Can you see the comparison in drawing here? My backing isn't blind it's just not based on last season alone.

  21. I really don't know where we stand in the football world, we beat Denmark, we narrowly losses to Spain we were cheated out of the euros by the Czechs and a certain stoned ref, but we lossed 5-1 to the USA. I'm putting it down as an off day. Away from home, no Hutton, no Adam, no Morrison, no Naismith, and no Berra. 5 definite starters for me. We will see how we fair against the serbs and the Croats they will make or break levein. Home success is key. We should probably Have got a play off place an it would've been because of our home form as we only lost 1 home game in the euro campaign, and it was against Spain in one of the best scottish performances in recent memory. When you compare that to our away form we only got 4 points on the road, a draw against Lithuania and a win in Lichtenstein. We should of beat Lithuania but we didn't. We continue to move up the rankings under levein this week and a decent world cup campaign even finishing 3rd wouldn't be bad in our group so let's get behind them this campaign. We could finish 1st but at the same time we could finish 4th its a shake up group and I feel we will be the ones shaking things up.
  22. What would he coach? How to make a living out of one very magical moment?
  23. Yet he's only been in the England squad once in the past year. Because of injury. When it comes to international football he hasn't been there. Whereas John terry, Gary Cahill, phil jageilka and phil jones have always been there when they were needed. I don't think rio would be able to play more than 2 games in a week while playing at his full potential so I think for him tournament football is over. If he can still play 30 games for his club next year then FairPlay to him he's a top defender but he's at a stage in his career when he has to decide what he wants to do and unfortunately for him I think he'll have to stick to club football. As for the perma injured, he wasn't last season but te year before he was and I think that was partly to do with the world cup. He wouldnt be able to play in the euros and play 30 games for man u next season IMO. Hodgson wouldn't have been able to take jt and rio, it just wouldn't be feasible with the impending court case, so hes left with the dilemma of does he take the one who feels he's been wronged, or the one who's been there for his country throughout the qualifying campaign who is accused of been the wrong do'er? You can't leave jt out for rio because of innocent to be proven guilty etc. so you can't take rio incase it causes unrest one unhappy player could spread throughout the camp.
  24. More to the point why is the munro scenario still rearing it's ugly head. Snoresville.
  25. Ooft.
