  1. Great end to the game. Bocenegra would be a very good signing imo thought he done well at newco last year and he was class against Scotland for the USA a couple months ago.
  2. Catching the last half hour on a stream. Frings is top class, great captain at the heart of everything in the middle of the park. I started watching at 1-0 down now their 2-1 up. Doing very well. Barry robsons hardly touched the ball and has been a bit of a disappointment so far. And as I speak Toronto are on the ropes. But have definatly been the better team over the last 20 or so minutes. Also it's a decent standard but it's seems a real mix of class and workman players in one team strange to behold as you see bits of excellence and some horror passes and mistakes (most of which happen in defense). Expecting one last push from Vancouver to salvage something
  3. Yeah, was standing beside me on the terracing behind the Clach dugout. I was quite impressed by Conor Pepper in the short time he had on the pitch. Bags of pace, always looking for the ball, makes great runs. I can see him pushing for the first team as a direct replacement for Hayes. I think he's a centre midfeider by trade but he's still young enough to be changed to a winger by butcher. At 17/18 aswell the next couple years are important for him in moulding what type of player he will become. Definatly one to watch next season.
  4. cooper was very assured, not the most attacking of full backs but got the job done and did it well. meekings much the same assured not troubled at all. foran great captains performance always talking. warren disapointed he went off but when he was on he did very well played the ball on the deck and led the defense. g.shinnie the usual solid but deadly performance from him draper what he lacks in finese he makes up for in presence can get really stuck in and i thought he alowed the likes of dorran, a.shinnie, and shane sutherland to play. doran was different class really outclassed everyone else for me a.shinnie played well between the lines set up alot of the attacks very composed shane, probably not a winger but would make a decent inside forward, he does the defensive stuff well down the wing but struggles to provide the final ball. good goal none the less and very nearly got a second with a great strike off the post. billy a sharp performance squandered a few decent chances but thats to be expected at this level and point of pre season. subs pepper, looks quick could be dangerous, has youth on his side morrison passed the ball well a good performance all round polworth got in decent positions got into the game played well oswell got a goal didnt look quite as sharp as billy but could be a better finisher ross didnt get into the game really but was out of position got a run out at least motm for me was doran he was different class.
  5. devestating to watch him fight with every fibre of his being to win and just fall at the final hurdle, was devestating to watch never mind play in, but that was as good as ive seen federer play, and he has earned the title of the greatest grass court player of all time for me. i dont even think nadal wouldve beaten murray in that final thats how good federer was. but after this i think the next 2 year we will see a couple grand slam titles in murrays hands, and hes definatly in contention for olympic gold. LETS GO ANDY LETS GO!
  6. there was a time when i thought he would make a good player for us, but it wasnt to be i still think he could climd the sfl ladder to the second division or lower first if he wanted it enough. it wouldnt surprise me if elgin, or peterhead snap him up in the next couple years.
  7. The usual zzzzzz Wish this guy the best. A big presence in the midfeild could be useful
  8. If sky and espn don't want to be involved in the spl without the old firm then fine. F**k them. As long as ict are still around I don't give a crap. We will hardly be effected by this we only get 4-5 games shown on tv it's Celtic it'll effect most, so here's to the demise of Celtic. Cheers!
  9. Neil rangers is to put it nicely a w**k I can't believe anything that comes out his mouth
  10. Doran and Hogg were both in a week early for extra work from what I read on twitter anyway. Love that commitment.
  11. The way I see it is that Tuffeys been replaced by reguero, Piermayr by raven, warren could possibly be Tokelys replacement but I havnt seen him do won't say that conclusively. That leaves, gillet, hayes and tade (although only his presence) to be replaced. The rest of the squad will probably be filled with loanees IMO. If Hogg, otj, and a.shinnie are fit all season that could replace (I stress could) replace the likes of tansey, and golobart.
  12. As it says on the tin. Of the players weve lost this close season, who do you think we will miss? Obviously hayes will be missed, but who else do you think will be missed? I think gillet, will be the biggest loss apart from hayes, he was a stalwart last season at centre half and left back.
  13. Not sure if its the jaw or the forehead.
  14. They have infiltrated the ground! I repeat they have infiltrated the ground! We've been breached!
  15. Young gun Jason oswell got 19 goals in 20 for Rhyl in the welsh league last year. So that indicates to me that when he's given chances he can take them. Lack of experience yes but could be hungry.
  16. why dont we rename this thread, messi, ronaldo, and xavi. because it seems to me no one will be happy until we sign players of their calibre. can we all just get a grip. get used to the fact that we will be signing players from lower english leagues, it doesnt matter what theyve done in the past its what they do in an ict shirt that counts. some posters on here arnt happy when we sign players on loan from the premiership because they dont give their all for the shirt and arnt here for the long term and they arnt happy when we sign a player from a lower league who is more likely to stay because they dont possess enough quality. it seems to me that no matter what steps the club take no one is ever happy. well youre all going to lead sad lifes in that case. the club try their best to bring in the best players possible and if you cant accept that they arnt all going to be the shizzle then i suggest you go support barcelona, real madrid, chelsea, man city, manchester united, or bayern munich. if you want other suggestions for clubs i think you should support pm me.
  17. There's connection there I'm not sure about McCabe but Andy shinnie Is good friends with Ross perry
  18. I think this can only be good now. Sure we lose money from rangers and sky but county coming up will fill the money left by rangers when they come here, and the sky money. Well as far as I'm concerned they can feck aff if all their interested in us the old firm and don't care about us then il glad they won't televise our games, their loss is espns gain. This will also probably boost ST sales and for the first time in years/decades? Scottish football is united. Bye rangers, hello derbies, bye sky.
  19. I'd like to see Dundee myself. But whoever who It is at least county won't be on their own down at the bottom now
  20. Squad starting to take shape now.
  21. Italy, Portugal, Germany and Spain all left. I'm going for the wildcards here an saying portugal are gonna win it.
  22. Exactly, no player ever has, is, or will be bigger than this club, the sooner he announces he'll be leaving and stops treating us like dirt the better Mmmmm... Adam Rooney? did he treat us like dirt? He did.....and at what stage are we going to say that no individual player is greater than the good of the team? Afraid I'm of the opinion that, if ICT is a previously signed player's last resort failing better offers.....do we really want them? Not true!!! Adam was out of contract and everyone but everyone knew he was not coming back to sneck, except TB that is, thats why we ended up with donkay Tade. Johhny is still under contract (albeit a few days) and is still interested in staying in Inverness-and has said so! Was the tade deal not on the cards from January February? He just missed a lot of pre season through injury, He was stood in the dugout side terrace against clach in the first pre season game. I thought we signed tade on a pre contract
  23. I agree it's frustrating to be seen as the fallback option but of its the only chance we have of keeping jonny il take it.
  24. Can we not be happy that he hasn't told the club he's definatly not coming back? Does it not mean that of he doesn't get the move or contract he wants somewhere else he will be coming back to us for another year? I.e. Chris Hogg last season.
