We will sign a few players in the next 3 weeks before pre season. We will have the usual trialists and a sprinkling of loanees. Put it in the oven for a season and we will have a lovely fluffy ict sponge.

Im renewing mine the clubs doing what they can, they have made a great offer with this "recession ticket" and the rangers scenario isn't anything to do with them.i don't see why the club should suffer over the rangers scenario as its not do with us. i think 2 years ago when tokely signed his last contract butcher seen him as indispensible so he offered him a fairly good pay package by our standards. now i think butcher sees him abit like mcbain, or gola in their later days. hes great to have around and will still do a job when called upon but wont be started week in week out if there are younger possibly better options around at the club, so doesnt feel the tokely is worth the same pay package as he was last time around. this could be the cause of tokelys disapointment. right now i think butcher feels we need tokely as we need someone we can rely on, but hes turning his attention to trying to find a replacment. for when we wont be able to call upon tokely.

Totally agree. We don't get results on the pitch then people will just look for things to blame. It doesn't matter where the players come from if they were performing to their best no one would be complaining.

It was the 4-6-0 that lost it for me. I'm Scottish yes, but not really of the patriotic flagwaving type. I have little interest in the Scotland team and have never seen them play. Nothing much to be proud of and little to get excited about for me I'm afraid. Bit strange why you insist to give your opinion on something you don't care about then.

We went with an attacking team, and it didn't work. This USA team beat Italy, and if they get anything from brazil in a few days I won't be surprised. Very good side with a very good manager. 5-1 was more than I expected, but when you play with 5 attacking midfielders, then what do you expect. The Team lacked balance for me. Charlie Adam, Darren fletcher, Alan Hutton, James Morrison, and Jamie mackie all missing. That's pretty much the spine of the team. Charlie mulgrew had a shocker, can't say I'm surprised though. Webster and Caldwell didn't work, and Bardsley, was rarely seen in the game. Think we have to hold up our hands and say we we were beat by the better side.

Really impressed with the USA. Play some really good football. We arnt firing on all cylinders. Bit of experimenting from Levein tonight. Very brave selection. Not seen us play with so many attacking players for a long time but right now it doesn't seem to be paying off.

I didn't say it worked or not. You said he didn't settle on a formation. Personally I think the 4-3-3 works better that the 4-2-3-1 but this season we havnt had our wide players fit all season so we very rarely seen it. My main criticism of butcher and I have few is his lack of a plan b. when our backs against the wall we struggle to adapt and by the time butcher makes the substitutes needed he's to late the games lost. This season is the only time he hasn't been able to settle on a "best 11" and play them over a run of games. Because of injuries. In years gone by he's had that luxury, he's used it and he's got success from it.

Hogg, a.shinnie, and Aaron doran all were injured for a huge part of the season and all wouldve been playing every week if they were fit. No coincidence with doran or shinnie in the side we win more than we lose.

rossco had a period earlier in the season when he was shakey. theres no denying it. i critised him myself, he didnt look himself to me. he had just had an injury aswell (putting rest to the claims that he is superman). foran, we can say it he was pish at the start of the season, no denying that he underpeformed, but as a striker you also need service to feed off foran didnt have that luxury, his frustrations were justified. but on a whole id say both had have fairly solid seasons. every centre half makes a mistake and every striker misses a chance. look at messi and robben both missing penalties recently. everyones mortal.

Luke if you get worried I WILL be worried! Ask me if I'm worried in June. There's 2 things that worry me the demise of ict and armageddon. I am worried about being worried about not having enough players next season. So in a way i am indirectly worried.

The first weeks in june is important if players havnt signed contracts by the 31st then we will know they arnt coming back. So we will have I replace them in that first couple weeks. I'm not worried if players don't sign butcher will have players lined up to replace them. I expect all the players bar jonny who have been offered contracts to re-sign. Owain, and Hogg will also get new contracts Aswell. And Tokely is in limbo I havnt a clue what he's gonna do. If what I think will happen doesn't then I will be worried.
