  1. All i meant was he has never let himself down whilst representing ICT
  2. No I'd rather they dispatched lower league opposition in regulation time, I'd rather the team was firing on all cylinders, I'd rather players who are performing well keep their place in the team, I'd rather personal differences between manager and player don't get to the point that the player is sold off to rival teams, I'd rather....have Pele back in charge. What differences is that then ?
  3. Caley D Fair enough i'll take you're word for it that it's not personal but i feel that far too many people are quick to jump on his back. The question i always ask to myself is who else could do a better job considering the restrictions that he has to deal with i.e. wages, persuading players to head north etc etc. Bottom line is Craig Brewster was a very clever footballer and is gaining experience and qualifications all the time, he is highly rated by other players, managers, SFA coaching staff, he wasn't the finished article as a young player and certainly is not the finished article as a manager but given time and support could well be. I don't see or listen to many managers out there who would strike me as an ideal replacement unless people think that someone like John Collins or Tony Mowbray is going to head north for what CB is earning. Fact is that most people who come on here spouting off that he has no clue about tactics are talking drivel themselves, at all times he appears to be very professional in everything he does and promotes ICT very well. I know for sure the same can't be said of all managers and indeed a few who have had the job at ICT Ralph 5th Stand Would you rather they lost ?
  4. Caley D, So the team loses and the manager gets slaughtered, the team wins through to a national cup quarter final and he gets slaughtered. If the team were to say go on to Hampden and win the CIS cup would you still SLAUGHTER the manager or just admit that it's just a personal thing and whatever he achieves good or bad you just want him out ? RM
  5. CaleyD - Glad of the win, but don't think it will have done Brewsters position with the fans any good. How do you work that one out ?
  6. I've mentioned it before it's a PERSONAL thing for him after what Brew said about the state United were in when he took over, Dodds was part of the previous set up and was pissed off big style when he was told to GTF
  7. Well done to him i say, he's had a good pre season, last years tempers ( angers ) are under control and as his manager BELIEVES he could become THE BEST MIDFIELDER IN SCOTLAND !!
  8. Maybe a professional footballer should have the ability to cross with either foot !! :o
  9. Billy Dodds is a **** and he will slag off Brewster at any given chance due to the fact that he resents what he said when he took over at Tannadice ( he was part of the old pals act that CB had to dispose of ) We all know that it didnt work out for Brew there partly due to a manic impatient chairman but if you watch the press and listen to Dodds on radio he has a big issue with what happened. At least the wee hun p**** is evenly balanced -- he has a chip on both shoulders !!
  10. Mantis, I have a question for you, if you had the vast resources that CB had (i.e 1k a week) what SUPERSTARS would you sign ? and before you reply think about some of the signings he has made during his short managerial life before you criticise YOUR manager !! ICT part 1 Dargo (did a great stint) DUFC part 1 Hunt ( United now wanting ?1.5m for him ) DUFC Kalvenes ( Burnley about to pay a wad ) DUFC Conway (spotted v ICT) probably will go for ?1m plus, the best two footed player to play on the wing for United since the brilliant Eamonn Bannon ICT part 2 Imrie ( another potential great find ) Do YOU think he has a good eye for a player and also know whats required in a player to make it. I know he does and I think as a SENOIR moderator you should get behind your manager BIG TIME !!!!!
  11. Andy Grant I don't believe any of your second points were in your first post so go back to school tomorrow and work hard it will hold you in good stead. While you're at it read what the Scarlet Pimple wrote, now that is the BEST post i've seen on here in a long time. P.S. You can reply in the morning you're mummy has maybe tucked you up already ! T***, 29 you're having a laugh
  12. Andy Grant Quite simply you are wrong on everything you have commented on, 100% pub/rumour talk. The truth will come out one day on all your points but not for a while i'm sure.
  13. Johnboy If I may I will get in first, we normally do PM's but this needs to be seen by all. The facts are that unlike what Foxy would like you to think Ian Black would not have played again unless he had taken the action he just has, Foxy and others claimed he spoke his opinion when asked, well I can tell you thats crap, he made a comment behind the managers back after he left the dressing room ( NOT WHILE HE WAS THERE OR TO HIS FACE ) which he was subsequently asked to confirm at the Monday meeting, he did and he went with the U-19's. The whole team was effected not just the manager. Would any manager worth his salt done otherwise- NO WAY I have said before on this forum and will say again, NOBODY rates Ian Black more than Craig Brewster but in my opinion its time he grew up and became the player and man he is capable of becoming !!!!!
  14. Foxy, Was she in the dressing room ? IHE, Singled out ! Shegging ? You need a holiday mate
  15. Foxy quote: Yup, brew talks shi**, and blackie has stood up and been counted, brew said the players were offended, are they so afraid and if so of what I'm afraid it is you that is talking s**** and lots of it. You're info is misguided but you need have no fears, this spat will be over shortly. FACT
  16. Good morning all, Troublegum - 'You're' quite right !! Kencar - maybe it's because that's my name ! Get_off_the_park_Wyness, at last someone who can really see what is going on at the Club, well done i was starting to think i was all alone :rolleyes02:
  17. ' hoe to mange ' Looks like your well named !! Off to bed now because your chat is boring me, practice your spelling at school on Monday, goodnight
  18. Tactically inept :017: What the **** would you know ? Would you know a footballer if you slept with one
  19. Reefinweedallday You've obviously sussed me out yeh i'm the manager and your Sir Alex ferguson right ? You obviously know f... all about football and the way its run because some of the ***** you've posted is beyond belief. You and people like you are the reason I seldom watch live football now because the crap and nonsense that some people spout is a joke. How can a manager expect to build a team in less than a season ? the reality and your expectations are miles apart :018: I will probably get a reprimand for this rant but muppets like YOU need to get real P.S You can also check my post on the other thread, maybe you'll be telling me i'm someone else next :33:
  20. reefinweedallday for your info as you obviously don't know like a lot of others on this site Mr Sutherland was a major, i repeat MAJOR factor in the return of Craig Brewster !! Does that make him a dull bulb too ?
  21. You lot have lost the plot, GET A REALITY CHECK :symbol_exclaim01:
  22. Quote from IHE Many did not get on with Brew the first time around - then they set up Parky - more behind the door politics - and hey presto Malky comes back - Coincidental ? The club had a spirit of togetherness - of trust - of equality - all floundering. The professionalism of some players (although possibly playing for themselves as well) plus Gretna has kept this club afloat. They are playing a system around the wrong man. Teams were picked on behind the scenes rankles - sometimes personal in nature - not on form - again divisive. There were clear "favourites" - chopping and changing did not help either. The Boardroom have the final say as far as I am concerned - Brew was the perfect "yes" man. Absolute rubbish !!!
