No they were singing his name there. It's understandable, even if he only plays in a handful of games for them between now and the end of his career he was a big player for them a couple of years ago.

Romanias second goal was cored by DANIEL Nicolae. MARIUS got the 3rd.

I'm not sure why I said that, I'm delighted for him. As easy as this is to say right now I've always rated Nicolae as I've always known he could be very dangerous in the system Romania are playing tonight.

Daniel Nicolae scored a cracker, might have been Marius who set him up. Hate to say it but the Inverneshkai forward is playing quite well.

The other Nicolae is confusing things. Maybe the commentators talking about him all the time.?

:015: The comentator wont shut up about him and he isnt even Romanian. Inverneshkai Skojilund Nicolae plays for. He just punted it over the bar form miles out, wouldve been goal of the season had it gone in.

Think both Daniel and Marius Nicolae are on now, should get confusing with the Russian commentator! Marius just had a superb chance there, the defender got back well. It was Marius who made the chance mind, chasing the ball down.

Russia had a really good chance to equalise straight after the goal, the ball across goal was a yard too short or else the lad going forward wouldve had an open goal. Been a decent game so far and Romania have already used a sub, so the coach is making changes early and I'd expect to see Marius on in the second half.

Hastings was in the squad but I dont know if he played. Estonia 2 - Canada 0

Sorry mate but Not only are you claiming that the same group of players, who competed well and fought for points in the past, who have never lost so many points on the trot before this year, are now not good enough and the manager isnt having an effect on them... but you also claim Rangers may have been wrong to sack PLG despite them having a trophy in the bag and are firm favorites to win the other two with a very similar squad to the one PLG had at his disposal. I think the standard of the SPL is worse this season than in the previous years we've been involved, yet we are also doing worse, are you basically saying that the reason we are so terrible at the moment is because the first team squad dont like working hard in training? That is completely without foundation. I do believe some players need to be moved on but you say thats what Brewster is doing, if this is the case then he is getting it very very wrong, if you think Rankin, Wyness and Wilson are the laziest in the team and Duncan is worth crawling to for a signature then youre judgement might just be as bad as Craigs. The pro Brewster camp have no argument against his sacking/resignation, if the fans had been listened to he would never have appeared in the first place. A change at all levels is required, as I have said elsewhere I also believe we require a change in the attitudes of the fans who are not happy atm.

I'd say apart from having our two most exciting games of the season (and possibly since joining the SPL) before Christmas theres been little to shout about. I still feel justified in calling for CC' to resign over last summer, so personally it was a big relief to see him go early on, would hardly call it a bloody highlight though.

You seem to have missed the jist and title of this thread, its not the players that need to change, most of them have been with us for a while now and know exactly what they are capable of, Brewster however has done nothing to prove himself as a manager :rolleyes02:

Theres no logic to any of these replies :015: I disagree completely with the 'support the team for 90 minutes' brigade. If theres ever going to be a time for the fans to make themselves heard its got to be at a match. Our season is over, the detrimental effect it may have on the squad isnt going to change anything between now and the end of the year in any way, the damage is already done. Anybody going to the game on Saturday has to sing Dennis Wyness (not the he used to be sh1te one please!) and John Rankins names, the main stand also have to boo the **** out of Craig Brewster and make it clear things need to change. As we've all said on here, our voices carry no weight on this website, yet the one place we might have the lugs of those in charge youre all asking us to clap along and cheer on the team? You'll be giving out completely the wrong message, youll be supporting the nonsense spouted by CB in interviews that the likes of Duncan is playing well just now and hes tactically spot on.
