To echo everybody elses posts, thanks to Don, Jody, Scotty and especially Bob. I have to be honest and say the interest might not have lasted the full season if there wasnt a prize at the end of it all but I love a good contest, especially a gambling one on the Scottish Lower leagues. If it wasnt for gambling I'd have lost touch with most of the teams and players of the SFL after we got promoted and I can still find myself talking over whos in and whos out week to week as if ICT are still down there, really lets you have a broader perspective on the game in Scotland and as an ICT fan a real appreciation of just hwo far we've come. I'll check the status of my Paypal account but I'm sure I hit a 7,500 transfer limit on receiving money 2 years ago as I had it linked upto my Betfair account after the Woolich were bought over by Barclays! That was 2 years worth of withdrawls, once it reached the limit Paypal were doing my head in when I tried to get more, I'll see what the current status of it is though. With the way the pounds going to start heading again soon and the likely tax burden well paid footballers are to be landed with over the next 5-10 years youll probably see most of them bugger off to other European Leagues anyway, wage cap or not. Theres no reason to believe the EPL will always be the strongest league in the world, its only picked up that title on the back of debts upwards of tens/hundreds of millions of ever more worthless pounds, in the 90's it was Italy spending the big money, then Spain and now England, who's to say it wont be Germany, China or Mexico anytime soon.? A bit off topic with regards to tribalism but there could very well be changes in the way the business side of the game is organised in this country, there may have to be at some stage!

Pitty as top teams who are already up tend to lose on last days of the season as well. :thumb04: :018: He craps it whenever even the slightest challenge is put in on him, even Duncan bosses him. His annoying flappy style of play is 100% down to Neil Lennon from what I've seen from Celtic this year, which admittedly has only been games against us and the Champions League matches. Agree with above posts, the 'hardman' character is no longer required, teams will always need a bit of dig in the midfield and teams will always need players who arent afraid to put in a challenge. All of our defenders get the balance about right in a slightly more athletic Bobby Mann mold. I think we have to go back a few seasons to when we had Hislop and Keogh in the team to find players who would try and intimidate, both fancied themselves as 'hardman' types, and both were let go in the SPL for being ineffective, it doesnt work.

Just to make it clear in my own head I make it- Clacher_Holiday2 - 400.7 CaleyD 339.80 JoeDimaggio 329.60 For me not to win, I need to lose next week leaving the gap at 50.9, meaning CaleyD needs to pick a winner at 6.09+, the .9 is significant because theres always 2-3 6.0 shots (like this week), but how many are there at 7.0+? Usually one a week if any, when the odds come out midweek all I need to do is pick the only one and I will win it on Wednesday afternoon. Though for CaleyD to take a 7.0+ shot on the card this time round would be total madness...! Best of luck guys, overall CaleyD deserves second so I'll be cheering him on. Just need to decide early how to play out the last week, from memory the last weeks selections have been PM'd to a neutral so the person in the lead doesnt just copy the chasing packs effort. Best decide early.
