  1. considering he'll be paying about 20 million dollars a year in tax i dont think there was an issue!
  2. good quiz but i got a bit bored half way through!
  3. there must be a way around the radio thing, possibly an illegal way but it doesn't seem that difficult a problem on the face of it
  4. i received a letter from the us consulate in edinburgh today saying my application for a 2 year unskilled workers visa has been passed to the embassy in london for a final review (which is the 6th time its been 'reviewed' !). im feeling pretty confident about it, the letter i received today for the first to have quite alot of handwriting on it, which means a human has seen the application and my disclosure scotland stuff. the deal is that if i do get it, i get 2 years with optional 6 month extensions for a further 3 years at $170 a time to work anywhere in the us except alaska (gutted :015:) has anybody on here been through this before? anybody here worked in the us? is there a nightmare bureaucratic process ahead of me if successful? should i really be jumping ship?!? most importantly can anybody in the us explain to me in a little more detail the changes to the online gambling laws? as far as i understand it i can still gamble online with a uk bank account, is that the case? tis been playing on my mind for the past 8 months! :015:
  5. nothing like heaping the pressure on to boost team moral is there ihe :015:
  6. i have to say ive been impressed with ihe's recovery and (apparent) unswerving loyalty to the cause in the face of orwellian levels of policing at the dunfermline game last season though i suppose orwells totalitarianism wouldve seen him thrown out of the ground and hanged.. which he managed to avoid to his credit. there has been an air of genuine concern in his posts lately, which im encouraged by, though his loss of faith should be taken seriously be EVERYBODY. if his gaydar is picking up trouble ahead for hms snéque then there very well could be icebergs dead ahead he's titanic
  7. i might not be going now, i might have to work until about 2pm, unforeseen bullsh!t coming up in a few emails tonight unless somebody wants to give me a lift from loch lomond? easiest ?20 youll ever make :023:
  8. theres still no paul campbell profile :007:
  9. yeah am inverness born and bred, id rather not get into the whole 'why hibs' thing on here if you dont mind!
  10. this would be a mistake of keogh-esque proportions if he did part company with football whats happening to our team
  11. Not really sure I can afford the ?45 I'd need just to get down to and see the game. Too expensive. ferry muff then mate, if you change your mind let us know and we can meet you in glasgow
  12. Oh I'm quite sure that CC, his family and friends will have much better things to do than read all the inane drivel that appears on here.... Thinking of which..... I'm wondering if you shouldn't be considering a loan to some other website with a much lower profile than this one. Many of your recent posts have lacked that sparkle and authoritive air, with which they once enhanced the overall quality on this site. Perhaps a loan period of un-specified duration, might help you re-discover and re-build your confidence, and maybe even one day earn a you a recall to CaleYThistleOnline... :014: :015: :015: yes its been a tough ride johnboy but youre over the hump now. just remember to NEVER say you'll quit the ict website (as many have in the past) because eventually everybody comes back worse off, its the old ict curse, it works on the fans too
  13. the last hibs game i went to (not including v ict) was the 6-2 drubbing of hearts 5-6 years back in the mcleish days latapy, sauzee and mixu all scored but i cant remember which of them got the hat trick but i do remember almost getting killed by a police horse on easter road afterwards. that was the first hibs game id been to in years, mustve been about 2001 even then. it was the one that made me realise i really dont give a scooby doo about them, if i was goign to get excited about winning the derby 6-2 at home on a freezing october night then i never would again
  14. look at the last page available in this forum. in march 2006 we were talking about a motherwell game, p1sh refs, squad rotation and even had a decent 'doom and gloom' topic going footballs mad
  15. the caledonian stadium needs a new site!
  16. i was caley/clach/hibs.. but im only 24. i was 10 when the merger stuff was going on and to be honest wasnt really into football at the time some would say im still not really into football, leaving me in a position to laugh at hibs nasty youth academy free of guilt or envy, itll be a dump and will forever be viewed as such by me :022: you know i wasnt expecting anybody to take offense to me laughing at an aerodrome being used for football!
  17. the barns look cheap and tacky, end of! :sillywave: why do you support hibs anyway?
  18. there is no logic in scottish football
  19. 1 + bingham legend
  20. clubs move home ties all the time in europe, the main reason was obviously the management team didnt believe we'd gain enough from it suppose an ict v tirol insbruk inter-toto 2nd round 1st leg game live from victoria park while elton headlined in inverness wouldve been a bizarre one for the scrapbook
  21. inter-toto? i see scotland didnt have a team involved this season
  22. you ever been to victoria park? youll see our up and running academy there (note, that isnt a joke about them being our feeder club but the whole county-academy combo thing seems to be doing us no harm) hibs land still looks like a barn to me mate. im not sure whats worse, if theyre keeping it green because hibs are green (hideous and stupid) or if its the fact they cant afford the paint job what makes you think im a closet yam?
  23. fraser our leading goalscorer - munro - caff - hastings cowie - black - duncan - rankin bayne - nicolae hart)duncan), macdonald(nicolae), zander(caff) ...in that order and king kojak .... :017: yersel
  24. i wouldnt get too carried away with that
