Doofers Dad - First of all i was wrong. A List MSP died a few years back. What happened then was they were replaced by a new List MSP of the same party.The SNP already have a number of List candidates and if the two rebels resigned their seat, the stand by MSPs take over. I still think a List MSP should resign their seat if leaving a Party but it‘s not in the rules. -

I see that the two Highland and Islands SNP MSPs that resigned are 'List' MSPs. I find it strange that as 'List' MSP's they can carry on as Independents. Are we happier losing two SNP to Independents or would you rather they resigned as MSP's altogether? I asked John Mason MSP about this and he said along the lines of 'Rightly or wrongly, it was agreed that if a list MSP resigned from a Party they would carry on as an MSP.' It could be worse I suppose, they could have defected to the Labour / Tory / Lib Dem party! -

County fans going on all bleddy week about this. I was waiting for Staggy4life or Jailender to come on here and start a rumour.... but we‘re doing it ourselves!!! Its County fans on Twatter claiming to have ‘reliable info‘ and about 3 ITFC fans saying he could be an option.

It was a great afternoon. Just a shame about the result. The late points for Scotland helped raise spirits though. Good turnout as well. Any idea what the attendance was?

Great game. Started sttongly but Dundee came back into it and put us under a bit of pressure. However we were worthy winners for sure. Great atmosphere in the old wooden stand. Well done to players and fans.

I said when he was first appointed i didnt want him and he wouldnt work ( KingBeastie can vouch for me after my many pub rantings!!!) Who I think would work: Strachan Souness Mcleish Rednapp (yes i said it!!!) Obviously Ferguson, Moyes etc but they would never leave their current job for it.

This Saturday (20th).sees Scotland seniors take on Ireland in the first leg at the Bught Stadium. £10 adults £5 concession. With our game against Dundee taking place on the Friday night, this should be a great game and a great occcasion. Who all fancies it? I‘ll be there with Govan Jaggy and others. Throw in at 1.15.
