  1. In a way I can see that point of view, and all credit to the likes of Kenny who answered where and whenever he could. Things such as ideas for car-parking and the matchday experience for disabled persons were excellent though.
  2. i've just been looking for it but everything seems to be archived and read only. Admitedly i have not been on it for a long time, but wanted to read through some of it and perhaps comment.
  3. Highland football fans already refer to us as their 'wee team'. lol You shouldn't discount Queen of the south either - they have 4 games in hand over dundee and are 12 points behind them. I personally dont think county would be able to sustain the charge during the last quarter of the season. The pressure on them will be too great. Even if they do get promotion, there wont be many weeks where our home games clash with their home games, so our gates wouldnt really be too effected. I'm more concerned of keeping hold of our key players come season end - would we be able to keep hold of them if we dont win promotion ourselves?
  4. Oz647 - good point. We all know that members of the board (and/or their cronies) read these forums, and we all know that Darren (and possibly others) have posted on the site before. therefore there should be no excuses as to not speak up and offer their version of events and how they came to their conclusions.
  5. The club seemed to be making a move towards a brighter future when they took CaleyD on board as stadium announcer. He brought ideas to the table and even started to implement some too. Not only this, he received no wage for his role, showing just how commited he was to improving the matchday experience for us, the fans. I know CD well and know he'll remain a loyal supporter of Inverness CT. It's just a shame that our 'family' club can try to retract a fan's right to opinion and treat one of their own in such a poor poor manner. agree
  6. that was a cup game.
  7. Snowing pretty heeavy just now in Ardersier, although I doubt I would have made the match anyway :( Anymore snow, we might not have a walk from Ayr to Inverness for this years Highland March :001:
  8. As these trains carry alot of Tesco products, you'll probably need to be quick in getting your milk and bread in the coming days  Seriously though, we were driving back from Avimore about the time of the incident and the snow was pretty heavy around the slochd and carrbridge areas. We didnt see it (avoided it my a matter of minutes) but the photos look bad enough. It's a good job it wasnt a passenger train. Sleeper services to/from London Euston are being diverted via Aberdeen, but as for any oter services, I'd suggest looking on relative operator websites
  9. The stuffing from spurs was their only stuffing this season, and they should have in fact lost by a bigger margin. Of that there is no doubt. But their only other defeat was a very very close one to Manchester Utd. They have beaten Chelsea and Arsenal this season too. You can;t be a serious contender for a top 4 finish if you cant battle in these big games. Hughes has/had got them doing that
  10. I'm not trying to cause an argument, but just want to ask all those who are in agreement with the decision to sack Mark Hughes this one question... Would you say the same thing about the sacking of Gareth Southgate from Middlesborough? The reason i ask is simple - although he didnt spend 200m on players, the board decided to rid themselves of his services because they were not clear at the top of their respective league. They have since taken on a new manager and they now sit well off the pace that Newcastle and West Brom have set. 14th place and 17 points off Newcastle. (Come on, only 4 points above Coventry Nil - thats drastically poor... lol) Mark Hughes was heading in the right direction IMO. I very much doubt the likes of TtotheOtotheM were complaining about Adebayor before his suspention period? He'd scored in almost every game up to that. Mark Hughes signed one of the best keepers in todays game in Shay Given; one of the most under rated keepers ever to play the game i recon, and before Lescot was injured, you could say that the City defence was pretty solid. He kept people with the club at heart and made them better, i of course refer to steven ireland, and brought in one of the best players in the world in Robinho.
  11. I disagree with your comment starchief and here's why... it doesnt matter how much money you have, it takes time and consistancy to get anywhere in this sport. you can't just splash millions and expect them to become good overnight. Look at chelsea. it took them 2 seasons under their owner to win a domestic trophy, and when they did win it was under the same manager. Once he was gone, they've had 1 trophy under 4 different managers yet the money still remains. Man city should never have gotten rid of Sven - he had 1 full season in charge and was dumped like last nights chicken massala. Having said that, Mark Hughes, IMO, has been fantastic. He's brought in decent players and got them to their first semi-final since the mid 60's. He's also only lost 2 games this season in the league (less than man utd and liverpool) and sit in a decent postion of 6th. Disgusting behaviour by a 'huge club' that aim to be 'going places'...
  12. unlucky caleykid1994... MrsJnr usually does random picks too, but i forgot today to put it on for her. I dont think i've had a win at the bookies for a while. somethings not right with the world... :023:
