  5. Are you referring to Celtic's famous 4-2 victory over the mighty ICT? I remember that match - we all did a huge conga line at half time chanting "we beat celtic 3-1, we beat celtic 3-1, dah dah dah dah, hey".... think we were all raging at John Hartson that day too...

The tartan marchers are now over 50 miles outside Olso and have had the weather on their side. They are greatful for the rain today after a coupld days o decent sunshine. Everyone (as far as I know) is still going strong and feet are bearing up nicely. They are unable to update their website, but are putting blogs up on the SFA website...

I think this is as an appropriate place for those to leave their wishes for the Tartan Marchers. CTO's very own Beatonio (aka Chumba), Slater, Lady Madonna and Wum' have taken Highland March to an International level and will attempt to walk 500 Miles from Olso to Glasgow. Although they are doing this on the back of Scotlands 4-0 thumping, they will set off from their hotel in the morning in an effort to reach Hampden Park in time for the Macedonia fixture. These guys are taking just 1 day off throughout the entire 3 and a bit weeks - to take in RC's visit to the TCS later this month. So, good luck to all you guys. No doubt there will be a few stories, shocks and surprises in store on your epic journey. I am gutted I can't be there to win an 'international' cap, but credit to you all... keep us posted!!!
  9. Elgin have just gone 1-0 up... County are winning 2-1 And I'm sure CaleyCanary will appreciate this score - Norwich 0 Colchester 5 at half time... Pretty cr@p first day to the new season so far... still, only another 3240 minutes left to salvage the season. ha ha By the way, has anyone used the 'NEW CHANTS' yet. ;)

"SEAAAAGULL, SEAAAAGULL, SEAAAAGULL"... "We love our toastie, i want a toastie, Ham and Cheese, and golden brown, With a Napkin, on a side plate, don't take, our toastie away" "Smile, an everlasting smile, a smile can bring you near, to me, dont e-ver let me find you're gone, cause that would bring a tear to me this league has lost its glory lets start brand new story now, Caley you think that i dont even mean a single work i saaaaaaaay we're caley jags, caley jags are all I have, dont take out team away DA DA DA DA DA DA DA, DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA, DA DA (repeat)" -to the tune of boyzone 'words'. :P :019:
  16. do you think we could re-create Villareal's 27-0 scoreline in their recent friendly?
  17. Joonya replied to CaleyMad's topic in Caley Thistle
Better than some that are out there for sure. I just hope this away shirt doesn't turn out to be the same as most of the amaure team strips out there. I play in the Nairn and Forres league, and whenever we play Red Lion, I can't get over how horrible the 'Caley thistle home strip' looks in Black and Green!!! Even cowdenbeath have it in yellow and blue!!!
  18. I'm not too sure if this may have been mentioned before, but what about arranging it for when we have a weekend free for internationals. the club could maybe put on a decent spread in the kingsmills suite for those who volenteered, during the match which will no doubt be televised? just a thought
  19. And I got married at the start of last season where we were relegated - I feel so ashamed (to be married  ) lol Was a great night. shame i had to work early doors and couldnt stay longer. So surprised to see someone there who i went to school and worked with... she even lives in the same village as my grandma... small world hey!!! Many congratulations to you both!!!
  20. How about individual tributes to former ICT folk now over the bridge?? "Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell ??? "It don't matter if you're black or white" by Michael Jackson "Gypsies in the Wood" I would have mentioned "the Drugs dont work" by The Verve too, but we can reserve that for a different fixture next season. Och, it's all a wee bit of banter at the end of the day. so long as we take 12 points from 12 against them i'll be happy. Would be excellent to dump them out of all 3 cup comps too, as well as seeing them relegated whilst we head back to the SPHell... :party01:
  21. the interview came after westlife dude.... some poor lass called the show to ask on an upbeat song to perk her up after the loss of a loved one - they chose, westlife - you raise me up!!!! D'Oh. Anyway - 20 minutes of pure interviewing magic by the brigadier...
  22. Here - then click listen live....
  23. seems the highland march has made it to the West Midlands too... Yompa is set to be interviewed live just after 9pm tonight on Radio WM (think i'll see if they do an online feed)...
