  1. I will echo the best wishes of the team, management and fans and wish you all the best should you feature this weekend. Get stuck in, take your chances if possible and dont be affraid to take one for the team! GOOD LUCK
  2. As far as I'm aware there's 3 of us this time round (a 50% increase in participants compared to November :P ) Are them bacon butties good for take-away Manny :D (cheeky sod aint I!!!) I presume no-one else fancies the 15 mile strole then?
  3. got my ticket +2 today. Some decent stuff left in their sale items. had i the money i'd have got the white training jacket. very nice. Only stand tickets left
  4. Possibly MrsGringo, but i'll get 'Senior' to let you know via text or PM... 'Senior' and I are both walking it mind. :021:
  5. I'm actually tempted to make an appearence for this one... I have never been to grant street park, or indeed seen clach, and as this may be my last chance it'll be worth the ?6...
  6. ...doing it again!... Thats right folks - Dingwall becons for yet more Highland March training, and this time round I will defnately have company :021: Gringo (Senior) makes the journey up from Coventry for the coming weekends outing accross the bridge, and I believe Dunco is also joining us for the walk once more... The route to the match will be the same as November - Over the bridge, alongside the beauly firth, up to Connan Bridge and eventually finish up at The Mallard (ETA 1300) As part of Highland March training, some of us will even walk the full distance BACK to Inverness AFTER the match too, giving us a total of 30-35 miles of walking, with a football match thrown in to break up the day! Hopefully we'll get a few more snap shots, and TM4TJ could finally get back his flask! :021: :D

Was the MotM not Eric Odiambo? Certainly a strange choice in my eyes as I thought Hayes had a slightly better game despite being closed down by two, sometimes 3 morton players. But I dont think he should have been chopped at half time! We certainly missed Foran's presence, and up until his goal I dont think Nick Ross even had a touch in the second half. I'd even said to CaleyD (sat next to me) that maybe sanchez should have come on for him, to give Rooney someone else to link up with. There wasn't much spark from any of the 22 players on the park, and most of this was the game not being allowed to flow... the amount of pointless free-kicks the ref blew up for was unreal, and rarely did he wave play on. He definately liked the sound of his whistle. lol 3 points is 3 points... i'm happy. :tonguecheek:
  8. I arrived at the stadium around half 2 yesterday so that i had time to get my tickets and ensure i didnt miss kick off... I bumped into HighlandExcile who said she'd just been told they stopped selling them at 2pm on the matchday, and wouldn't be on sale again until wednesday... Hardly anyone was in the shop and three staff were stood twidling their thumbs... 99 times from 100 i applaud the club shop for their efforts and have no complaint etc, but why stop ticket sales for an important derby at 2pm on a matchday... I dont know about anyone else, but i dont go into a shop unless i go in to intentionally buy something, and even then i usually come out with extra. I wonder how much money the club would have lost on not only ticket sales, but impulse buys too (especially with their 50% sale items!!!) :tonguecheek:
  9. personally i'm more gutted queens and ross won than us drawing at dundee... We know dundee are a difficult club to play against - i beleive we've only beaten them a couple of times before. I'm more than happy with the point as at least we still maintain that gap rather than extend it! We have to play them again, we have two games in hand. There is 2 months of football still to go and the title aint won yet. And besides, we cant ignore RC and QoS - if either wins all their games in hand they are LEVEL with Dundee at the top!
  10. That, Jay7, is a very good point... Was it not also reported that the club had offers from german teams for Marius, yet he stated his wish to stay with ICT or at least have a say in where he goes.

    Wyness Signs on at Dumbarton
  12. any chance you'd accept 5 quid for a t-shirt with this on it?
  13. you mentioned Mr Sutherland AFTER the cup exploits, and imply Doug McGilvray was still at the helm. I thought DS was already chairman by the time the cup came along? sorry - not wanting to take this off-topic there, but just wondered if thing maybe started to go down the pan to the end of DMcG rein rather than the start of DS's?

Away from the issues that we're all engrossed in at the moment, there was another story that made the front page of the Inverness Courier today - and i'm not on about barrowman or imrie either (as they didnt make it to press in time, lol) Liz from the conferencing team is going to sleep rough in an effort to raise ?10,000 for the Haiti victims. The article went on to say that it wont be just Inverness in which she will rough it, but also Thurso/Wick and even London. the picture shows her training by lying in the main stand with only a wooly hat and blanket for warmth. Fair play to her, and all the best of luck.
  15. tax dodge? :D
  16. I'll be stood right next you ya CD :D :D :D :P EDIT: Might take my shoes off too. lol
  17. RevBirdog... I find it a little surprising how you seem to be the only person defending the club over this. As I understand it, and you've said it yourself, you have had exchanges with Don before about various topics on this forum before, but should that really be reason to try and rock the boat further? Don has always been as honest as he can be in relation to his opinions on and off the forum - if we had one man like him on the ICT board (i.e someone who spoke their mind AND the truth) then our club, I feel, would be in a far better position all round! The mere comment in the Courier of 'When Darren MacKintosh raised the matter of the comments with him, he indicated that he would rather have the right to free speech as opposed to being announcer. We have acceded to this request' brings up 3 striking notes... 1-"When Darren MacKintosh raised the matter of the comments with him" - This shows the board have no backbone/balls/both to deal with things themselves, and have made Darren their scape-goat/puppet 2-"he indicated that he would rather have the right to free speech as opposed to being announcer" - Shows they did indeed try to extract Donalds right to an opinion (despite them already knowing of not only these, but his investigations too) whilst being unable to conclude what exactly it was that p!ssed them off so much. 3-"We have acceded to this request" - It's not a request. A request would mean resigning, which is obviously not the case. It shows how f***in spineless the board are in coming face to face with their problems and issues. Christ, they haven't even had the bottle to name the person who commented on behalf of the club. And what the hell was so inappropriate in his comments that caused offence anyway? they dont even elaborate on that!!! In fact, on more than one occasion, don has been the front figure in preventing inappropriate comments towards the club, staff, players fans, etc etc.

Not surprised to see him go although i'm gutted. He'll still never live down his 'oh Inverness' rendition at the red and blue ball last season. All the best back in the SPL dougie - see you next season :P
  19. Sorry Jnr, not one of your better ideas. Anyone could print off anything from this site and give it to someone at the club in a number of ways. Like I said, it was just an instant thought when reading the post. anyway, it still appears that no answers from the club are forthcoming. May they cntinue to hang their heads in shame!!!
  20. I would have thought goulds worst moment would be playing for coventry nil :wave01:
  21. This could be open to further debate scotty - one question that sprang to my mind intantly was why do you not simply bannish those who are employed by the club, as someone, somewhere, has (it seems) deliberately used a posters opinion to generate unrest and ultimately, a dismissal? EDIT: by employed I dont mean ticket sellers, programme sellers, catering staff of the reception girls, but those at a higher level who would potentially twist/abuse comments
  22. Ah, memories!!! Rankin v Rangers... pure class
  23. or perhaps they're deep in thought DURING the heathmount happy hour... Wouldn't it be great if CD got a job behind the bar there! haha
  24. usually by now there's someone from the club (or one of their puppets) on here with some sort of defence of their actions - yet so far, there isn't. perhaps they're still deep in thought as to how to go about an acceptable excuse. :)
