One thing we have established on this thread is that the fans have fantastic ideas. I just hope the club take note and perhaps run a poll on the official website or via here as to what design the FANS want for future seasons. This would increase sales as they would be shirts people WANT and not shirts they will simply buy just to support the clubs finances. Some cracking ideas all :018: :thumb04:

if you 'save as' a JPEG file, you can upload the picture rather than a downloadable file.
  3. Was Sutherland not the man who bought robbo to the club for his first stint in charge? if he was, then why would there be an issue with him returning. If Mr Sutherland has the best interests of the club at heart, then he should be reading this forum and listening to the fans opinion, of which i would say 90% would agree brewster should leave and with robbo returning. Fans DO have a voice. We are meant to be the 12th man when the players are on the park after all.

I personally don't think the idea for 2 different kits to replicate thistle and caley is the way to go. The club is 14 years old and still people go on about pre-merger bias. The red and blue works well as a home strip, and the away strip can be varied. We've already had a yellow and blue design, not to mention the orange kit. The template is for people to design THEIR ideas for a new kit. Some have already said they like the 2nd desing on my original post, and I too think it is one of the better ones. I, for one, intend to keep designing shirts as it is quickly becoming an addictive hobby. You are never going to get 100% of the fans liking the new kit, but a change from time to time encourages people to buy something new and with the times. here are a couple more of my examples...

Cheers don - thats how I uploaded the files before, but they came up as a download file and not a pic Why not download the template and design a shirt you'd like to see our lads wear?

    Brilliant news ;) :thumb04: :018:
  7. Yup I totally agree with Gringo and would LOVE to hear your argument against ralph!? The evolutionary process is starting to take effect - people are taking note of the signature me amigo :thumb04: I fail to see how brewsters record of 1 home win this season, lack of consistancy and playing people out of position - not to mention the clear lack of man-management (i.e players telling him to GTF during a game) - can outway everything Robbo has done for this club. The man took us into the SPL, has respect for the fans and his players and gets it back in return, his contacts in the game, his clear knowledge of tactics and substitutions and how to get the best from a small squad. How he managed to beat Celtic in the cup, get us in the SPL and lead us to 2 cup semis. Was he not the manager when we won the Challenege cup also?

if anyone can let me know how to upload files as a pic and not a downloadable document, i'd be grateful
  9. Robbo was my personal fave to take over from CC, but in the back of my head I always knew Brew would return. But I cannot possibly rate brew as an SPL Manager. He was OK for us first time round, but I think that had more to do with his abiilities on the park rather than the bench. He did didly squat at Utd and you only have to see was Mr Levein did with the same squad to see that Brew just did not have even close to the same managerial qualities. Ok - I admit, levein has been in management for a longer spell and would have better experience, but when you see who brew used to play under and the people he has been around in football, I fail to see why he has not put any of this knowledge into his own management style. JR as manager with CC as assistant. I'd probably have Barry in a coaching role also. All of these 3 would serve the club well as they clearly have ICT's best interests at heart. They underdstand what ICT is and what we're all about. They show this with heart, whereas IMO, Brew just thinks this is only a job, and lacks the passion that we fans want to see when they all emerge from the tunnel.
  10. One of the commentators on the radio yesterday kept saying John robertson was the loudest person in the stadium, and on a few occasions the commentator was lost for words as he was busy concentrating on what JR had to say. Now I don't know if he was cheerng on Hearts, or ICT, but I would far prefer him to step in NOW than to allow Brew to continue draggin this club further down the table. We have beaten every club in this league, and know we can take the game to anybody. The league is tight this season, which would seem like an Ideal season to string some results together (there we are again with the consistancy) and perhaps finish in the top 6. We need someone new before the new tansfer window. someone to look further afield then over the bridge and to their former colleagues, and bring in some new faces and get our beloved club climbing the table.

I have now got to the stage of spending my time when bored, designing new strips. Home and away ones. Very quick ideas, but here's a few designs I would maybe like to see in the future. if you want a shot at designing your own, here's a template
  12. macbain replaced black on 14 mins.
  13. My initial thoughts are 'fantastic - they deserve it and we've been asking for this for ages' but will he also continue to play people out of position? Is cowie therefore on the bench/out of the squad? Are the defence ready today for any Hearts counter attack?

The Club have said in Boardroom Banta that they welcome any suggestions from fans as to kit designs. Usually this task is left to club officials, players, kit man etc, so why dont we get a few design ideas here for the club to review and put forward to their suppliers. I created a design for the club a few years ago (although I dont have the file on this pc, below is a picture of the kit I claim to be my design) The Club are looking into new ideas for an away shirt for next season,
  15. Maybe a crazy suggestion, but here goes..... De-mote brewster to Fitness Coach. Charlie Christie as Manager with Barry Wilson as assistant. Brew is clearly more focused on the fitness of the squad as apposed to performances on the park. From the goals scored by our front 3 (wood, barrowman and rooney) i dont see any evidence he has passed on his knowledge as a striker to these guys who clearly need guidence. CC and BW have the heart of ICT in them, and the players respect for them is astonishing. You only have to see the support for CC to stay and the turn out for BW's testimonial events to find the proof. Also.... Bobby Mann at the back with Munro beside him in the middle. Mann proved against the energetic liverpool side that he can read and control the game better than he ever has done. MacBain at left back - Hastings not having a good season IMO and macbain always seems to cover that area more than he performs in Midfield. Proctor on the right as he links well with the midfield and covers more ground getting back in position than Roscoe seems to these days. Imrie, Black and Cowie as a middle trio, with Rooney and Niculae up front with Wyness just behind. Mark Brown is out of his depth at celtic and would be a fantastic addition to our squad. Mikey Fraser has done OK, but is still a far cry from his best and not the same without REAL competition for the number 1 jersey. Like I said, a crazy suggestion and one that would probably NEVER happen - but as a football fan, I can but only dream
  16. I've not read through all the postings on this thread, so please forgive me if i cover old ground. I just want to voice my opinion. I -like many- was not too impressed when CB arrived at ICT for his second spell, yet gave the man a chance to succeed with us for a second time. Enough is now enough, especially when you see him quoted as saying we "restored some pride in the second half", I feel a lot more could have been done! Pride is getting a goal or two back without conceeding any more. Pride is pushing everyone forward and taking them on, and not pulling everyone behind the ball ensuring we dont get completely humiliated rather than just hammered. Last season we lost 5-0 at parkhead, but our performance did not justify the scoreline - we were better than that. Yesterday was a complete shambles which is proof enough to me that we cannot perform under brew - we are on the slide. I am, however, willing to give him till the end of the month to prove me wrong. That is how far I can possibly see any little support for CB in my veins. Joint top at the start of september to second bottom 2 months later??? Dispicable to say the least.
  17. have just noticed in the picture with our banner.... Is that an ICT fan in the away end (top left of the picture)... perhaps we have a bigger following than we though as we take over our entire stadium? lol
  18. Think I am working that weekend, but if not I maywell help out. Just a thought, but would it not be easier to put the flyers into the matchday programme?
  19. Och, I dont tend to hold a grudge. Apology accepted. I like threads like this as you get to hear loads of different reasons for people not heading to games each week. Plus a bit of banta and the odd rant make for a more interesting forum. LoL. Is there a section on this site/official site for booking onto support busses? And does the bus allow for 'opposition' fans to tag along (doubt it, but worth asking)
  20. Surprising you point out duff when for the first goal Hastings was sitting too deep to pick up the player who crossed (cant remember who it was) Agree with CD and AM. The youngsters need time to make errors and learn from them. I dont feel they will get this by being put in the reserves or sent out on loan to a lower league club. They need time to gel with the other members of the squad and take in all the experience we already have on the park (hastings, rosscoe, bazza and roy) Brewster is still making mistakes, but he is certainly learning from them by making better (if not perfect) tactical substitutions, and also putting out a starting 11 that on paper could potentially match, if not beat our opposition.
  21. Firstly, I personally didnt know until late of friday night /early sat morn that I was going to the game. Secondly, we were travelling with 2 utd fans, and I doubt that would be accepted on an ICT supporters bus. (Had I planned the football match with just my ICT friends then I may well have got on a supporters bus, as I have done a few times in the past. As my working rota is only a couple of weeks ahead, and I cant guarentee weekends off, it seems pointless to take up seats on said bus if I cant make it.) And finally, it's Cheap/Free for myself on the trains as I have a family concessions pass. Hence one of the reasons I made so many games when I was youngster travelling from Coventry every other week(ish) Rant Over. Actually, one more thing, where does it say I intended to drink alcohol therefore being my reason for taking the train and not the bus?

  23. just been reading Tim Lovejoy's book on football, and it says that regardless of if you go to all home and away games, or even if you only watch the vidiprinter on setanta/sky/itv etc then you are still a supporter. As I have in the past travelled from coventry to see us loose, and sometimes have games postponed, then moved north to follow my team, does that make me any bigger or better a supporter than those who sit at home or cannot afford away days? No it doesn't. I say fair play to those who prioritise away from football matches (lack of finance, family commitments blah blah blah). Yeah it's nice to get a good travelling support, and I will continue to do my upmost to get more bums on seats at the TCS, but do we really need to slag off those who can't make it? on the other hand, if clubs made it easier for those travelling some distance (such as reduced ticketing) then it may appeal to more of those on a tighter budget.

Marko - welcome aboard. I moved up from Coventry 2 years ago (after years of planning) and I have never looked back. The Paulibees and King Beastie did the same leaving the other amigos gringo down south. lol. Do you like walking... if so you might consider the Highland March some time... (see, even at the start of the season I think about the Highland March and new recruits. Great stuff)
