  1. To be fair to Ian Black, he was the backbone of our midfield throughout the majority of our SPL history. He was a fans favorite despite his bad-boy reputation, and the well wishes he received when he moved on the Hearts (and whilst he was at tynecastle) almost certainly sees him up there with other 'legends'... I think many people now resent Ian for his choice to join up with The Rangers. I cant remember too much negativity against Ian Black as to what we see since his signing. In my opinion, a Legend in todays footballing terms, is someone who has contributed significantly to the success of a team for a set period. Take for instance Adam Rooney and Craig Dargo. Both here for about 2-3 years each, and both scored goals galore for us. Both can be considered club legends given their goal returns in those short spans of time, but I bet the majority on here only see Adam as being a Legend as his goals effectively won us our place back in the SPL. I wouldn't consider players such as Andrew Allan or Ally Ridgers as legends as they rarely featured in their time. Yet I would perhaps consider Juanjo as being so because he brought in a bit of Spanish flare and continues to hold a special place for ICT.
  2. If you're out the country that surely means and IHE v DoofersDad bout is out of the question?
  3. No it doesn't... [i've quoted Yngwie from a comment he made at the time. The actual scorers etc were written in green.]
  4. The last I saw of Angus the Stag, he'd had a sex change and was in fact dancing like a drunk woman at a disco. ICaT was excellent. Always has the kids entertained. Never been too sure of Nessie. Seems a bit TOO obvious to have Nessie as a mascot, given our location. lol.
  5. The Legends team is shaping up to be a strong one. They have 15 confirmed Legends already and a few others are willing to play their part should they be available. Here's a few names to tickle the taste buds and I think you'll agree it's shaping up to be a cracking line-up for the Fans to compete against. Managed by our Third Division Winning Captain, Mike Noble, we'll see a legends team involving Jim Calder, Barry Wilson and Charlie Christie. Also taking part is former ICT Manager John Robertson, who will feature alongside Alan Hercher. The Legends' full line-up will be announced closer to match day, as will the names of all the fans taking part in what will be a fantastic day! The Fans team is coming along nicely and they will not shy away from the challenge. They will have a formal training session on Thursday 6th December conducted by an ICT coach in preparation for the big day. Kick Off for the match is SUNDAY 9th DECEMBER, 1330hrs and Spectator Entry is by Donation on the day.
  6. With today's crowd going below 3000 for the first time in a while, it got me thinking as to when the last time the crowd had gone below 3000 in a competitive match at Home... The last time was in fact a Cup Match back on 5th Feb 2011 The last League game to encounter a crowd less than 3000 was a 4-0 win over Airdrie in march 2010. In the SPL, however, was actually at Pittodrie in December 2004, a 1-1 draw against Hearts... The means NEVER BEFORE TODAY has the crowd at TCS, for an SPL fixture, been below 3000... I confess that was my first game of the season, but does this not go to show that our club does not benefit from Sunday games because of the televised matches???

  8. After Octobers postponement it's great to see this match getting the go ahead once more. Although disappointed with the call off initially, no-one can control the weather. It has, however, meant that a few more legends are able to free themselves up for involvement. With the Boxing Night organised for Friday 7th, Hibs at TCS on Sat 8th and now the Fans V Legends on Sun 9th, it's shaping up to be an action packed weekend.
  9. GR10 JNR is coming in at £260.... Excellent!!!

  12. Could the Mod's please move this post to the Other Football section of the site. The information provided by KingBeastie is FACT and Not a rumour, therefore it's been posted in the wrong forum.
  13. There is a Supporters Direct Fans Roadshow at the Stadium on Monday evening, starting at 6:30pm. Seemingly it's a 'Question Time' style event where fans will get to ask questions of a panel of Supporters Direct and Scottish Football representitives, including John Robertson. Entry is FREE and on a first-come first-served basis. MORE INFO HERE

He seems to be doing ok at Oxford United during his loan there. He's started 9 out of his 10 appearences for the club. But no goals yet.
  15. I certainly think Easter Road has taken the shine of the Semi Final. If one Semi is at Hampden, the other should be too. If not, then BOTH semi-finals should be played away from Hampden.
  16. Dates have been discussed with the club for the re-arranged fixture. Confirmation of date is, however, yet to be recieved. Those taking part will be first to know of the rescheduled date before mentioning the fixture on the forum.
  17. The scary part about it (for other sides) is that Foran isnt yet at full fitness again

  21. Maybe he has been confused with Wyness101???

  23. He's at 25/1 on skybet. But surprisingly, although Butcher is 3/1 at ladbrokes, Skybet have him at 16/1
  24. He's 3/1 now - coming out of the market gradually. Mick McCarthy slowly coming in at 9/4 with Curbishly still at 5/4
