    Time for change

What a load of drivel BBB... One win against lower league oposition and all of a sudden you expect 80-90% of the ICT fan base to eat humble pie and recognise that craig brewster isn't as bad as he seems as a manager GIVE ME A BREAK. 2 deflected shots, poor finishing from a man who scored 29 goals with his previous club, and against lower league opponents to boot. Hardly something to inspire confidence when we resume league business next week is it. Don't get me wrong, any win at the moment will inevitably bring a smile to the faces of many fans - myself included - but to insult the chairman of the supporters trust who has worked on all sides of the story with the fans to put forward a legitimate statement of concern from the fans to the club? totally disrespectful IMHO !!! look at the performances, look at the results, look at the players who have left, look at brewsters record, look at the incosistancy in selections and formation, look at the league table and look at every comment and press report for at least the last month and then come back with some sort of realistic post and not just to slate all those fans that have the best interests of ICT's future at heart.
  2. didnt know the guy prsonally but it's always sad to hear this kind of news... RIP
  3. I just hope the performance is good enough, as so far this season we have struggled against 2 lower league teams already, whereas partick have given a good fight against one of the old firm. Luck is something we will certainly need.

I thought we would have heard a definate answer from him by now, but reading the newspaper today he has said he will know by the end of next week. I am just begining to wonder if he is waiting to see how ICT fair in these next 2 crucial games and what fate it may bring to CB. The more I think on it, the more I think he wants more of a player/manager role than just simply playing until the end of the season.
  5. The board have only been 'Targeted' for answers in recent weeks because we have heard almost ZERO from them about why they decide to stick with brewster when everyone can see he is incompetent as a manager. When the board decide not to answer questions, then obviously people start to wonder about their motives within the club and the competencies of each board member. No-one on here has doubted that DS and the board have worked hard in the past to get ICT to the dizzy hights of the SPL in such a short space of time, but what people are doubting is there abilities to deal with the terrible situation we find ourselves in since CB took the helm for his second stint. Statistics are facts and facts dont lie - the whole business with Donald Park, Dennis Wyness and John Rankin leaving the club as well as Marius Niculae, Barry Wilson and others. The fact we have been on our worst run of poor performances as well as very poor results since we came into the big time (or posibly even the league itself). The record CB has had since hanging up his boots for good make terrible reading. The club isolating themselves from the fans since joining the SPL and fobbing them off with cut and paste responces is another horrible side to what we are witnessing, and there is much much more that I could also bore you with. All of the above seems to have occured or gotten worse since CB came back to the club less than 2 years ago, and with the results and performances as bad as they are, I think the fans are right to call for the board to take action - which they haven't - which again is why they are becoming a target.
  6. overachieved? if we have done just this, then why on earth did the club try so damn hard to get in the SPL with a grounshare at aberdeen? surely after 5 years in the top flight, the clubs 5 year plan should be to get in the top 6. then europe or the title? if everyone at the club thinks we are over achievers and not an established SPL side, deserving to remain in the top flight, then I have only 3 words for them..... GET TAE F***
  7. Vadims Gaiļus is the only under 21 defender I can find currently on the books there. there stadium holds just 9000 so he wouldnt be out of place in getting used to the atmosphere at least. lol No player player hitory though, which is a shame, and no match stats for the season so far either.
  8. just trying to locate his players profile to see if he has been a regular starter and a valuable member of any team, as surely this would be better than if he's simply just starting out. although great players with a lot of potential, it would be strange for Brew to go for someone on par with vigurs, duff and wood (who need more nurturing and experience) when it is experience we are after.
  9. After a wee search on Google, the club is owned by Hearts owner Mad Vlad. Jankauskis has had a stint or two at them and the club have won the title a number of times since their formation in 1991... Perhaps this guy could be a good signing for us, but I'm not so certain when it's strength and experience at the back. Happy to be proven wrong though.
  10. so brewster HAS tought our guys something at TCS... How to handle the press!!! This does not strike me as someone who has fought throughout the season so far. poor show!!!
  11. Obviusly survival and a good cup run our our priorities this season, and with money to spend (alegedly) then why only 3 people being mentioned. I would like to see one or 2 loan signings included until the end of the season. Surely we could loan someone from Aberdeen, Killie or even one of the old firm like Hamilton have done. We need experience. What happened to Ehiogu from Rangers? I think he'd work well with Granty should pressley not make the move north.
  12. I'm not so sure a move to motherwell can be considered a good move for the lad - unless you take wages into account. Motherwell over achieved last year IMHO. Surely this would only be a side-way step such as if he went to st mirren, falkirk or even kilmarnock. If he were to go i'd rather he went to a big club and made an impact, such as rankin at hibs. He has the talent to go far and i seriously hope its helping us at inverness. I'm sick of players using us as a stage for bigger clubs to nab them!!!
  13. ....sounds like a plan...watch the game from the bridge means no money to spend, yet we can get the point accross... splendid! lol Think i'd personally sit in the stadium and chant away
  14. I was just wondering about the stats of Craig Brewster in a managerial position... and it doesnt make nice reading. According to Soccerbase (which I understand to be continously updated)... Team From To Games Won Lost Drawn Inverness CT 27-08-2007 Present 62 21 34 7 Dundee Utd 16-01-2006 30-10-2006 30 3 16 11 Inverness CT 25-11-2004 13-01-2006 50 17 15 18
  15. I spoke to at least 7 rangers fans at work on sunday afternoon that all said brewster is the worst thing to happen to ICT. That they knew they would get a comfortable victory. That they knew once they went in front we'd just fold. And that Craig Brewster should have been shown the door long ago. granted 7 out of the hundreds that travelled isnt much, but it gives the impression that we ICT fans are not alone in our thoughts of Craig Brewster and that some clubs in the SPL, and probably the SFL, are laughing at us as well as sympathising about our current demise

Just a kind of 'calculated' guess, but has anyone else thought that SP is waiting the 10 days stated to see if brewster is still at the helm come Hamilton? My theory is he will not sign for us with brewster in charge, but will sign for us should he be offered a player/manager role - similar to when brewster first came to us. this to me raises a wee concern that should this actually happen, SP will eventually hang up his boots and we are again left with someone who may not cut it away from playing. I seriously hope my theory is wrong, as we certianly need someone solid at the back with the experience to go with it. If he keeps to his words of playing for nothing and wanting to remain in scotland, then we have a chance. We all know that money talks though, dont we?
  17. I have not been to a match since Aberdeen, where my Brewster Out flag was on show and i chanted away not only for the team inicially, but for brewster to GTF. I had intended to make trips to both motherwell and rangers but due to childcare (or lack there of) and work commitments I was unable to. My flag, however, is ready to be waved once more when I enter TCS, yet I hope it will never again see the light of day as the exit lights should have been lit way beforehand. I am seriously contemplating going to support Barry Wilson and his queens team-mates next week, but unless the ICT faithful are heard loud and clear, any 'single man with his A4 banner' is never going to be heard. If we all share the same views that Craig Brewster is not the man to keep us in the SPL, then why on earth don't you (people in general) stand up and make yourself heard? I hope their is a great turnout for the supporters trust meeting on wednesday. I for one intend to make it if I can arrange suitable childcare arrangements.
  18. I decided to start this thread to make it easier to review the ins and outs at ICT during this months transfer window. Add to it any confirmed transfers or newspaper reports so we can all see at a glance who's in and whos out. OUT: Black pre-contract with hearts - maybe away in Jan for possible ?100k fee... Wilson away to QoS IN: None
  19. Whislt reading the highland news at work today, i read a quote from brewster that said as soon as we were 1-0 down against aberdeen, the fans were on his case... that is completely false Mr Brewster, and only goes to show you do not see or hear clearly what is going on at our football club. At 2-0 we were all calling for rooney to come on, and also chanting ICT throghout - it wasnt until you waited until we were 3-0 down that you finally acted, and only THEN did the banners and chants for your job come to effect. As for any journalist reading this who thinks the fans should get behind the team and have no idea, you will notice that many names have been mentioned as a potential Brewster replacement - Robbo, Brown, Pressley and even Christie and Wilson - and as mentioned before, we have been at least 2-0 down before chants for brewsters head have been heard. WE ARE ALL PRO ICT ON THESE FORUMS AND WITHIN THE STADIUMS> ITS YOU AND THE ICT MANAGEMENT AND BOARD WHO ARE BLINDED BY WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR CLUB
  20. 83% after my vote... does Mr Sutherland have some sort of huge bet at the bookies for ICT to be relegated this season, using an acumilater format to add Black, Cowie and Wilson as departures on his coupon... Am sure the odds on that at the start of the season were fantastic.
  21. :015: :thumb04: :018: ;) first nomination for 'Farce of a Manager 2009' goes to Craig Brewster.
  22. Has brew been sacked yet - else this year is gonna turn out cr@ppy. LoL Happy New Year once again from this strange clan of amigos
  23. Now - my question back would be this... why is the main shareholder on North Tonight and NOT our club Chairman? Talk about an organ-grinder!!!
