  1. should have been but they missed a penalty
  2. I just hope we can hold on to the likes of Morais, Foran and Pavel for at least another season...
  3. let me be the first to say we'll score another between 55 and 58 minutes!!!!
  4. Did you know, you'll need to go back to 2003 for the last time more than 2 goals were scored by either side in meetings between these sides (in all competitions!!!), ICT won 4-0 in Paisley... Only one game since then has finished with more than 1 goal seperating the side, and that was just the other month when St mirren won 2-0.... It was also in 2003 when these two teams were level at 1-1 at half time - Inverness won that game 3-1 with Ritchie scoring a hat trick (25, 49, 55) after McHale opened the scoring on 13 minutes for St Mirren...
  5. Whooooooo.... The more i think about it, the more I believe Yompa in his early prediction that Killie are for the drop....
  6. ??? Cue one of the songs from that night... OH FLUFFY SHEEP, ARE WODNERFUL, OH FLUFFY SHEEP ARE WONDERFUL THEY'VE GOT WOOL AND AN OH FLUFFY SHEEP ARE WONDERFUL...... You reserve the right? hahahaha. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion last i heard. I just dont see any logic as to why you would cheer any player on the park if ultimately they wont be there forever. As someone said earlier, do you boo or slag off any player on loan, as ultmately they wont be here next season. do you hate Kerr, Foran and Odiambo because they have perhaps kissed the badge of another club before, and will untimately kiss the badge of another in future? or do you get behind them because they currently play for ICT?
  7. perhaps this 'fan' has a soft spot for Rangers and is holding a grudge against the man that sank them on Wednesday? Just a thought....
  8. So, you will praise a player whilst he is playing for the club, but as soon as he seeks progression to a much bigger club than ourselves, you turn your back?... thats nothing short of hypocrytical. I could maybe understand some comments when a player has been poor throughout, but to brand a player of Blacks' ability a maggot, i just have to disagree completely. My age and what I have on my bedroom wall is not of concern to the comments I make on these forums, and even the younger ones will appreciate what has been acheived by black rather than label him a 'maggot' for wanting to improve. I presume you've labelled Barry Wilson, Dennis Wyness and Mark Brown with the same??? after all, they moved on to bigger things at one stage or another.
  9. Disgraceful comment!!! Since he arrived at this club he has put 100% into every game. He has stood up to managers who doubted him or dropped him etc. He has matured extremely well over the years and he deserves a crack at the big time! I do, however, belive he would have stayed if Brewster was out before the pre-contract came about!!! If that was his last ever goal for ICT then I will be a proud man to say I saw it. Cracking bloke! Cracking player! Fully deserving of a title superior to Maggot!!!!
  10. I think its been mentioned before about these ads. Does it not have something to do with the topics on the forum. For instance the ad would recognise the name Celtic and therefore adapt to suit?
  11. In fairness to Bronson, I must agree with some of his points of view, and surprise surprise, Russel Duncan is the first name I must pick out of those who were not having a good day. Firstly the throw in as mentioned by Bronson - Agree 100% that it was a shambles. Secondly, I agree his passing was substandard, and first touch was poor on occations. Finally, it was humouring to see him 'try' and argue with the linesman whenever another player did and then run off as soon as the linesman looked up. lol. Rooney too seemed to be out of sorts on Wednesday. He has certainly earned his place in the stating line up with decent sub appearances, but i just feel he lacked the confidence or drive to make an impact from the off against such a big team. I think it was Govan Jaggie I said to that I thought rooney could be our very own ole gunnar solksjaer. Excellent off the bench, but not so good at starting. Morais also, it has to be said, didnt have the best of matches either. He seemed too weak in the challenge and in need of a bath before he went down injured. As for the rest of the squad, i thought they were excellent. Munro and Esson clearly determined to make amends for their errors on saturday, so a special mention to them. Black seemed to play the holding role really well and, despite a couple of squared balls when he should have sent rooney/foran through the middle, he had a good game. Zadi was immence!!! (I never thought i would say that.... EVER) The new chant fully deserved! It'll take me forever to mention how excellent the rest of the boys were individually - but we all know this is a team game and to see the confidence growing week in week out, I think to leave the game with not so much as a point would have been a very harsh injustice on arguably the best 'team' effort I have seen for some time. A repeat performance in the Semi's at hampden park would be very sweet indeed!!!!
  12. You??? look after my arse??? i think i'll be the one doing that johndo... it'd end up being shaved and tattooed otherwise Where is best to park in the city centre if I opt to get the train across?
  13. perhaps we should drag him down to dows KB and repeat the night we had with mooncat - only minus the beer spittage. lol. Seriously though, he is doing us well at the moment. I have ever increasing confidence that we will be staying in the SPL. I think, however, this is the tightest relegation battle since Dundee got the boot 4 or 5 years ago...
  14. Needing a couple of details as I intend to make my first away match of the season, and first ever visit to Ibrox... 1) ICT fans meeting place/watering hole pre-match? 2) Adequate parking facilities - where? How much? 3) is the game all ticket (pressuming yes here) and if so do I have to sit in the seat allocated? 4) who's going? I finish work around 2pm on that afternoon and intend to drive down straight away. Meaning I will probably hit glasgae around rush hour? I've never driven in glasgow before, so any details of roads to avoid would be helpful. Cheers And by the way - who else is going?
  15. skids :018: :thumb04: PS,I sent you a private message a couple days ago robbo.
  16. Ladies and gentlemen - i think we have a winner?!!! That is cracking Jay_7
  17. after looking at the teams relegated since we joined the league, we will need to at least double our current points tally (17) to stay up... Killie 40 GRETNA 13 M'well 38 Midden 36 DUNFIRMLINE 32 Dunfirmline, Falkirk and Dundee Utd 33 LIVINGSTON 18 Livingston 35 Dunfirmline 34 DUNDEE 33 I think this is very much do-able, as looking at the BBC Alba coverage of the match, I think we put in the most positive performance in a long time. Tokers didnt look too out of depth in the center of the field - although he will need to look out his shooting boots Imrie seemed to be the heart of most disitions (aside from McBain of course) and in general I think the team seemed alot more positive during the WHOLE of the Hearts match than what they have done for a long time... COME ON ICT - STAY POSITIVE, FIGHT FOR AND DESERVE YOUR PLACE IN THE TEAM AND KEEP US IN THE SPL
  18. to me it looks more of a training shirt than a football top. perhaps it'd look more appealing with the sponsor etc put onto it... hint hint And see the white down the sides underneath the arms - can we see what it looks like blue (the white, not the red piping.)
  19. You know when one of the headlines earlier in the week said "Wilson favourite for Caley Thistle job" I thought the same thing.... If the old man turns down an approach - i'd be happy to oblidge. After all, I'm a bit more local than the old man.... :thumb04:
  20. I think it shows a certain degree of profesionalism and sense from Robbo that he has applied for it, rather than waiting for the club to come to him. He has clearly shown his passion for the club via his BBC report, shows a willingness and sence of loyalty to communicate and acknowledge the fans, and has the passion and commitment to take us out of this mess. I would love to see Robbo with CC as assistant and BW in a coaching role. ALL 3 have ICT at heart and will know what the club, players and fans want to see - and thats decent performances, getting results and making Inverness a place to be fearer for any team coming up the A9/A96 My Avatar says it all....
  21. I am another who was at work at the time I heard. I think delivery had just come in and i sent the boss to sort it out. I then felt the urgeto run to every football supporter in the airport terminal to express my sheer delight... thinking back - i should have used the airport tannoy. :thumb04:
  22. LIFESTYLE?????? LIFESTYLE?????? :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: This is sooooo on the brink of a huge debate
  23. I am not too sure wether brewster is full of himself, genuinely thought he was good enough or was given the wrong impression by the board - but this indeed should have happened ages ago. I can understand if he carried on for financial security, but why go so far as to tarnish an already poor managerial record further? Surely if you were in his position, you'd walk knowing you tried before it got too late. I certainly wouldnt like to see 2 sackings in 2 years on my CV, nor would I employ someone with such stats. Robbo left us in good form for a bigger club and to follow a dream - fair play to him. He was probably the backbone and strength throughout the club getting us into the SPL. No hard feelings from ANY fan. Pele left for better things leaving ICT well placed in the SPL leaving a balanced team behind. The only ill will is how comments from the assistant coach at the time brought the switch about. Christie quit as he knew the pressures of the job were getting to him and his family, and ultimately upsetting the team. He, again, had ICT's best interests at heart and left for the sake of a better ICT - in hindsight, he probably should have stayed!!!
  24. why would we want to take another backward step and bring Robbo back; the board today corrected a mistake. lets hope they dont make another one so soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Robbo had his time and did well but just like CB is part of our history now. I have stated (as have others) the reasoning as to why Robbo would be successful - most notibly his local residency, availability, managerial statistics and his passion for the club. May I now add to that the fact Robbo was a brilliant MANAGER last time, where as brew was a brilliant PLAYER MANAGER last time. Robbo would in a sense just be walking back into the building to a job he knows how to do, and not switching from an on-field moral boost to a silent dug out such as the outgoing manager did.
