  2. Better than some that are out there for sure. I just hope this away shirt doesn't turn out to be the same as most of the amaure team strips out there. I play in the Nairn and Forres league, and whenever we play Red Lion, I can't get over how horrible the 'Caley thistle home strip' looks in Black and Green!!! Even cowdenbeath have it in yellow and blue!!!
  3. what the video doesn't show is how I carried on for the rest of the song whilst all else fell about laughing - the gits!!! At least I wore my ICT shirt to save some face. lol
  4.  :P :P :P :P :P
  5. I'm not too sure if this may have been mentioned before, but what about arranging it for when we have a weekend free for internationals. the club could maybe put on a decent spread in the kingsmills suite for those who volenteered, during the match which will no doubt be televised? just a thought
  6. And I got married at the start of last season where we were relegated - I feel so ashamed (to be married  ) lol Was a great night. shame i had to work early doors and couldnt stay longer. So surprised to see someone there who i went to school and worked with... she even lives in the same village as my grandma... small world hey!!! Many congratulations to you both!!!
  7. i think you'll be safe knowing that the kids know the difference between real love and bought love. you're ex's boyfriend may well be trying to please them by buying them expensive things such as horses, but they clearly know where they can find real love - and this is what kids need. Take my step kids for instance. I don't shower them with gifts by any means, but i do treat them to a sweet or toy on the rare occasions that they behave. I take them on days outand spend time with them whenever i can. they also know the main reason i took driving lessons and got a car, was to enable us to do more things as a family rather than waiting to a rare date i can afford the extortionate inverness bus fares. Like i said before, you can only do your best to support them no matter what happens. They will always know you're there for them and they will always have a roof over their heads should your ex distance herself from them at all.
  8. All the best SMEE. People have mentioned their admiration for myself taking on another mans children, but that admiration falls short by some distance for the admiration I have for you - I hope it all goes well for you buddy. Myself and the other half have mentioned my adoption of the kids, especially as both have muttered wanting to change surnames too. One rule I find very strange is that she (my wife that is) would need to give up certain parental rights, which is something I could never ask her to do. I can only be there for them as much as i know how and do the best i can, should things, god forbid, go to pot in future. All i will say is, keep your chin up and do whats best for the children. They are, after all, caught in the middle. I'm sure you will do the best for them whatever the outcome. I wish you luck!!!
  9. How about individual tributes to former ICT folk now over the bridge?? "Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell ??? "It don't matter if you're black or white" by Michael Jackson "Gypsies in the Wood" I would have mentioned "the Drugs dont work" by The Verve too, but we can reserve that for a different fixture next season. Och, it's all a wee bit of banter at the end of the day. so long as we take 12 points from 12 against them i'll be happy. Would be excellent to dump them out of all 3 cup comps too, as well as seeing them relegated whilst we head back to the SPHell... :party01:
  10. It really does make interesting viewing Johnboy, and yes it has already been posted. You dont even have to go back 60 years to see how times have changed. When I was in school, the teacher wrote on the black board, not the chalk board. In secondary school, it was a white board, not a pen board. They have taken the goliwog of jars of robinsons jam A lady in the west midlands was all over the news a few years go because she had goliwogs on display - she was told to take them away yet the white dolls were allowed to stay! Can you belive that? Look at comedy acts - bernard manning was well known for his sexist and racist jibes, yet Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, can all say what they like. As was said earlier, muslims and islamic radicals can block main roads for a protest and nothing is said, yet local councils hate to have any sort of christian parade without these folk fighting tooth and nail. The list goes on, and on, and on, and on, and I think more countries should stand up for their culture and heritage. :015: :017: :clapping02:
  11. the interview came after westlife dude.... some poor lass called the show to ask on an upbeat song to perk her up after the loss of a loved one - they chose, westlife - you raise me up!!!! D'Oh. Anyway - 20 minutes of pure interviewing magic by the brigadier...
  12. Here - then click listen live....
  13. seems the highland march has made it to the West Midlands too... Yompa is set to be interviewed live just after 9pm tonight on Radio WM (think i'll see if they do an online feed)...
  14. I was forwarded this e-mail from a friend of mine, and thought that it was worth discussion. .................................................................. ................................................................. Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.' 'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom' 'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!' 'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.' 'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.' 'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.' 'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.
  15. It's only a walk after all :) just found the article here at STV

  18. CONGRATULATIONS to Kencar :P close run race this year - seems my change in crowd V Hamilton wouldn't have matered anyway! lol Well done that man... Pleased with joint 2nd.
  19. Similar story happened during Highland March when we were charged ?1.50 for a standard size can of Fanta... needless to say, i didnt mind paying it for what i left in the 'facilities'... it seemed only right to indirectly offer my sincere apologies before making a swift exit...!!!!!!
  20. One of the most importnat things would be to renew season tickets and get to games whenever you can. I used to love games in the lower divisions, especially away days at almondvale and palmerston and even somerset park. We need to keep behind the team with our singing, and remember we are still a small club.
  21. What a week it has been!!! too tired to explain the week just now, but for fans to join us on our jaunt to the stadium would be the tip of a mountainous iceberg. 182 miles walked, 2 to go. Spud leading the way and a huge band of ICT fans singing down academy street to the stadium. what a way to not only end the Highland March on a high (thank you!) but to get behind the team from the earliest opertunity!!! We intend to leave falcon square between 11am and 1115. many aches, pains and blisters this year, and it tends to take a while to get going. Hopefully people will join us to what will be one of the biggest games in ICT history!!!
  22. Killie are 4 points off the drop with 6 to play for.... not safe just yet!!!
  23. We need a draw minimum to be safe if Falkirk beat St Mirren. we're 3 points ahead of them with 6 to play for.
  24. 4 points seperating the bottom 5 teams!!!!!!
  25. can someone please shut that asst commentator up... motherwell have not been in this game at all, yet he seems to think the teams are evenly matched!!!!
