  1. ....but you plut the players on the park mr brewster, so can YOU not see the error of YOUR ways? GET IT SORTED, OR G T F
  2. The question is, are people happy to part with 20 quid to watch brew make a mess of tactics once more, or use that 20 quid to get bladdered in the nearest bar whilst watching soccer saturday?
  3. A poll on another thread sees over 80% of fans calling for brewster to resgin or be sacked. Surely we cannot all be wrong. I too gave brewster support despite not wanting his re-appointment. Our club is becoming the biggest farce since Paul le Guen at rangers, Mike Ashley at Newcastle and Berti Vogts with Scotland. BREWSTER OUT!!!!!
  4. Message for Barry: You have been and will always remain a legend and a real gent. You have the fans and ICT in your heart and I sincerely hope you don't leave the club feeling you could never go back. Many fans, especially on this forum, would welcome you back with open arms in any role. Be it as a player, youth coach or manager. I for one and exteremely gutted at the decision that CB and the board have come to in releasing you. I just hope you are able to persuade the rest of the lads to continue fighting for ICT, as without them the club are surely sent back down the leagues, almost as quickly as we came up them. For all you have done over the years at ICT, I wish you every success for the future, and THANK YOU. Message for Brewster: Could you please explain WTF you are doing to our club? You are the manager and the buck must fall at your feet. Your team selections baffle everyone, players and fans alike, and your actions are clearly speaking louder than words. Why can't you see that you are killin our club? You're letting go of one of the another one of the best players to grace the turf of TCS. Wyness, Rankin and Niculae to name but a few. All players that can (and currently are for their new clubs) contributing experiance and skill to every game, and giving 100%. It's time to resign with what little dignity you have left. Although I was not keen on your re-appontent, I supported you because I want to see my team succeed, and I am now sorry to say, you have done completely the opposite. Message for the Board: Take a look at the stats, the performances on the pitch and the moral of the players in the dressing room. All are the lowest any ICT fan or player has experianced, possibly ever. If you care for the club, you will seek brewsters resignation, or give him the boot. You are vastly running out of support from the fans, the very people who pay your wages.
  5. Not so sure on Pele or Ian McCall Although both excellent managers in the lower divisions, they didnt really cut it in the SPL. Robbo on the other hand, was excellent for us and was doing well at hearts before being booted out for not following the Romanov rules and regulations of team selection. He has good connections in the game and above all else, has the respect of both players and fans. Why he was not re-appoined instead of brew is beyond me, and I have no doubt barry would be back in a coaching role within 12 months, should brew finally see sence and resign with at least a little dignity.
  6. This is one game of the season I was so looking forward to for various reasons. It's been marked down as a day off at work since the fixture list was issued way back in late july/early august. If my boss hadn't changed my shift so I work, I would still be heading down to the game as that is what real fans do. I travelled thousands of miles a season when in coventry to follow my team. many of you know the days myself and Gringo_snr had a long trip home from a clyde hammering, a dumfries thumping and many a postponed fixture. I hope the people that do head down get a rare good performance and 3 points in the bank. I just dont see it happening.
  7. Problem is, I dont think anyone has the chance to manage ICT unless they are friendly with the so called 'heathmount mafia'. The club are doing excellent work with improving communication between themselves and the fans, but why won' they listen to the things closer to ICT fans hearts i.e, the way our team is being run, the way players are being treated, and the performances on the pitch. Defeats like saturday would be far easier to take if we actually looked like we turned up. the buck must fall at the feet of the manager, and failing that, the board of which appointed him. Playing our star players out of position is WRONG Switching formations week in week out if WRONG Rotating the starting lineup week in week out is WRONG Untimely subatitions are WRONG All these things are fault of no-one else but the manager... and he is driving our best players out. Rankin, Niculae, Wyness, Bayne, Wilson and possibly Cowie and Black in 3 short weeks time... Disgraceful.
  8. From what I have heard in the organising and set up of this event, it really is very well organised and I am devistated I cannot take part due to work and family commitments. Hats off to all the troops for this event!!! I truely am heartbroken I cannot be with you guys! to me this is like a Highland League player getting an International call-up. A once-in a lifetime opertunity that should and cannot be missed, when suddenly you suffer a career threatening injury in training. At least I can say I am extremely honoured to have had some part in helping you get there, by providing company and encouragement to you during Highland Marches, and making sure you never quit when things get touch. You're a great bunch of people, and I wish you all every success for this venture.
  9. Robbo manager, bazza or park as asst. or, cc back at the helm with bazza or park

    Rooney

to be fair on wyness, he and the other strikers at love street are not in a consistant line up - Gus Mac is forever chopping and changing who he starts up front and who he subs on and off. it's the same with what brew is doing here. Our strikers have no idea if they are getting a game week in week out, and it's no good for their moral, and affects how the rest of the team plays. look back to the strike parings we've had in the past.... wyness/dargo wyness/richie bingham/hislop stewart/mclean hercher/christie they scored loads of goals because hey were regluar starters, knew what their strike partner was capable of and were on the same wavelength. The midfield also knew where to put the ball, when to play the right tactics and how best to create. what we have now is a midfield who don't know who to supply the ball to, when to supply it or where (head/feet), and when they require back-up for any lay-off, one two or rebound. they dont even know if they'll play in their own prefered role or on the opposite flanks. If wood is best up front alone, then he should be on his own regular enough for the players around him to know his game and supply the proper ball. If rooney and wood/barrowman are better as a pairing, then they should have a regular run for the same reasons. We have 3 strikers who can't gel because the manager doesn't allow them to have a decent run in the side. Rooney was excellent when he came on, and didnt need barrowman for support, but he seemed to gel with wood all be it for a brief 5 minutes. they talked to eachother, where as barrowman remained quiet.
  11. Reading barrowmans speel in the courie/HN the other week, saying he wants the chance to play from the start, he certianly didnt show any willingness, drive or ambition yesterday to back up his feelings. Barrowman is ICT's britney spears... get lots of applause and admiration for past works, but too big for their own boots and thinks no-one is better than they, whilst all around them people just point and laugh and say - you simply are not good enough any more.
  12. i fear it is not just the fans that are being driven out because of the poor performances and results, but the players also. Lets not forget that black, cowie and wilson have not signed extended contracts. Key players to our future with a fantastic bland of youth and experiance. The players are seeming less and less interested when played out of position, and a vicious cycle is forming.

    Rooney

Most the threads i am reading tonight are slating brewster at some point... can the board not see that the fans are right for a change and get rid of this muppet. rooney was excellent when he came on, and i dont think he had help from barrowman at any stage - in fact, i think AB was ABsolute pish and was only there to make up the numbers,
  14. Although barrowman was poor today, I have to say the buck must fall at brew's feet. The man has no clue about substitutions, player positioning or tactics. He should have spotted barrowman was poor and pulled him off instead of Imrie, or at least put a second striker on to partner him. I thought imrie was pretty good today, but again lacked due to brew playing him out of position. Same can be said for cowie, duff and proctor. As soon as Imrie was off that right flank, utd exploited the space and bang, 2-0 down. Putting 2 subs on with 5 minutes to go baffles me. That should have been done at least 20 minutes before full time. I think Zander had 3 touches max and was unable to infulance the game.
  15. east stirlng v montrose draw @ 3.40 please
  16. in all seriousness, we've played well the last couple of weeks, and i believe we deserved something from the game last week. If we get behind the lads, then we can become the 12th man and give the players some sort of boost. It was proven against killie earlier in the season that the stewards are a bit more relaxed with us now, so surely there should be nothing stopping us from chanting a bit louder.
  17. We certainly need to be a bit more vocal... anyone got any new possible chants for today? If the game gets boring, I'll be chanting to the seaguls. LoL SEAGULL, SEAGULL, SEAGULL.... :thumb04:
  18. Money talks for most people. it's been said time and time again. But there are certain things I feel are completely uncalled for when it comes to contract negociations. I have no doubts that we'd have kept the likes of wyness and dargo had their agents not demanded more. I don't know about anyone else, but myself personally would play for the love of the game. I didnt kick a football in the playgrounds at school because I thought i'd be earning hundreds of thousands of pounds a year, but because I loved to play and still do. I'd love to see more Munro's in the game, where they make their own minds up and dont need a 3rd party.
  19. Once again it seems like negaciations have been left a little too late. Only thing I think I agree with is that agents are the horses arse of everything in football. To think of the players who have left because of their agents demands for cash rather than the players love for the team... shocking. MR BREWSTER - I WILL PLAY FOR NOTHING I can also attend training as it's just down the road from me... lol
  20. I personally don't think CB would be capable of writing such a letter as he doesn't tend to string too many consecutive sentences together without a pause... However, I do belive he may have hacked into Yngwie's user account to post the following...

    New Kits

has anyone got a picture of the costa rica shirts - they're meant to be really nice deigns too. more of a checkered pattern though
  22. .... and I just found out I got most points on 'Gringos NPL' too... (such a shame I didn't make the game today, hey Gringo_Snr)
  23. A very satisfying day indeed. Had my first flutter on the football since September and won. ICT to win 2-1 with Imrie to score @ 80/1 - weeing myself when they got the penalty though. (maybe I should have a punt on the lotto??? :thumb04:
  24. are Killie playing poor or are we playing well? I just cant decide. lol
  25. never fear 2 points on NPL for dougie imrie, and my ladbrokes bet looking good now too.
