  10. Should that not be DESTRUCTIVE criticism ? that is the by-law? Sounds all a bit threatening to me in places, perhaps one of your counselling sessions would be in order here to take the anger out of some of the punters before they become too disturbed.
  11. It is not what we will have to give up as much as what we have to take on that bothers me. People are always 'prepared' to make sacrifices untill they realise what the sacrifices are and how the burdens grow. Pretty sure CaleyD? I want to be very sure. Faint heart may never have won fair maid but neither should caution be thrown to the wind on an issue as important as this. What Alex Salmond should be doing right now is pressing David Cameron on his statement about the new proposals he has in mind to come into force after the referendum. i.e. should Alex lose the referendum vote. It was a statement made some time ago and should have been latched on to persistently for full explanation. David Cameron left himself wide open and Alex ignores it. Why? when it was and still is an opportunity for Scotland to gain more powers without rushing in to independence. Is Alex really putting Scotland first or is he just glory seeking for himself.
  12. Three young signings called up for international duty, I would say that is pretty good management selection on a low budget! A forward line that is scoring goals consistantly, A team trying to play entertaining football, A team that fights back when down. A team that is still to gel and reach full understanding of eachothers capabilities and yet is improving regardless of losses. Give the Manager the credit he deserves please and drop this negativity. This team can and will do well under Terry. Maybe we cant all go to the fixtures but I'm sure we can all give the team and manager our support. That can only do good!!
  13. I hope Terry does read this page, then he will know he has the support of the majority
  14. Have you been listening to Laurence, bughtmaster? On the prospect of ruining our "natural beauty," you could argue that centuries of mismanagement by absentee landlords have already done that. The idea that the Highlands is an unspoiled landscape is a complete myth. Every square inch of it has been exploited and altered, and the people have largely been cleared from it, which has allowed the complete disfiguration of what must have once been one of the world's most beautiful landscapes. dougiedanger, please why would I be listening to Laurence, These are my own views as a Scotsman who loves the Northern Highlands. Charles I have climbed many a mountain, fished many rivers and lochs admired the views, the wildlife and the fresh air. I have seen many changes in my 74 years and feel entitled to my groat's worth to try and stop further desecration and exploitation of our homeland.
  15. IHE I agree with alot of what you say and you say a lot on this subject!! I wasn't at the game, i seldom manage for personal reasons to go to matches but I have now seen the highlights and yes I did listen to commentary on MFR. I do however challenge your attack on T.B., I doubt if you could possibly be aware of his team talk and tactics and whether or not the players played to his instructions. One thing that sprngs to my mind and has been visible at other games played this season is that there is nobody commanding the defence. They were at sixes and sevens every time the Mothers attacked. No cohesion or awareness of who is doing what. It is the goalkeepers job to be one step ahead of the opposing attack, Randolph was!! but as I 'have said before Esson has a nap until we are two goals down, then, normally, he comes to life and plays brilliantly. Too late I am sorry to say, we cant afford to play catch up! That first goal was the perfect example, someone blamed Raven, Esson should have made his call either leave it or belt it. Esson had plenty of time to get to the post before it crossed the line if he didn't have time he should have shouted. There has to be someone commanding the defence, the keeper has to be aware and let the others know about it. Three of the goals would not have happened if he had done this. It is not as if he is inexperienced, it is basic goalkeeping. No it was not all Ryan's fault he is a fine keeper but there is more to it than stopping shots. The defence could and should be magnificent with the right direction and when they all reach an understanding. So IHE over to you!
  16. We could include the Islands too...............
