  1. The holdback rules are that any game played on a Saturday can't go up until the Sunday at 6pm, but games played at any other time can go up at Midnight on the day of the game. ESPN were a little naughty as they had theirs up earlier, and official SPL YouTube channel had them up at midnight on the dot.....BBC were last to get them up. bbc must have read my post and had second thoughts about leaving it any longer !
  2. Can you really wonder why Terry shouts out about referees? that example last night said it all!
  3. As Nat King Cole would say It's a wonderful world
  4. There is a contract to broadcast rugby on Medium Wave on Friday nights which, as I understand it, pre exists the SPL's introduction of Friday might football. That only leaves 92-95 FM since Radio nan Gaidheal use their frequency at this time as well. These are the facts - the rest is my personal opinion since I am not in a position to express one on behalf of the BBC. And that opinion is that whilst there is sufficient interest in the Highland derby in the Highland area, it is justifiable to fill the Highland Radio Scotland airwaves completely with sport, these is not sufficient interest in the game throughout the rest of Scotland (and please remmeber a lot of people don't even like sport) to broadcast it there to the exclusion of all else. (Remembering that the game is also online.) If you are concerned about only getting (south based?) news about the Highlands that is sensational or negative, you should try the BBC's local bulletins for the Highlands and Islands at 0654, 0750, 1254 and 1654 with shorter summaries at other times - Monday to Friday. Charles you Know as well as I do that as long as the Highlands are not publicised Nationwide they will remain in the backwoods. The only way the Highlands are going to prosper is through good publicity and plenty of it. Local bulletines are all well and good but come on it is time to spread the word. Perfect example tonight, a great game of football that any football fan anywhere would appreciate. Poor show BBC, audio online only not everyone has facilities to listen to it.
  5. Absolutely fantastic, great performance all round by ICT, no IC T player deservers any bad crits, they played as a team and won like a team. a truly deserved win well done lads!!!!! Bring back my rose tinted specs please.
  6. If that is the best BBC can do, it does nothing to promote the Highland Derby throughout the rest of Scotland. I am sure it will be an interesting and entertaining match and deserves better coverage than that. Typical though it takes the media all it''s time to give out any news at all regarding the Northern Highlands unless it is sensational or negative. Thankfull for small mercies though at least we will hear up here.
  7. belishia................(cant remember how to spell that!)
  8. Och we can beat the Ref too! ..........Good evening Mr. Brines, It is a priveledge to have you conduct our Highland Derby. Please excuse our enthusiasm if we dont tackle too gently and we dont mind if you show your cards to our honourable visitors they are our guests and they can accept them as gifts from your good self as tokens of a memorable thrashing at which you kindly officiated. Thank you Mr Brines enjoy our hospitality our crowd is behind you........................Oh yes it is!!!!!
  9. I'm worried, never have I seen so much positivity about ICT from some of you lot....It scares me! but who cares we are going to win. :cheer01:
  10. Ignorance is bliss they say.........send in the violins. You may have watched but did you see? The player number twenty three.
  11. Is this post real?, counterfieted? challenging? Fishing?, or just downright absurd? Ladies and gentlemen the choice is yours. Could also be a speech of resignation I suppose, I dont know whether to laugh with or feel sorry for the composer.
  12. H T: 2 - 1 F T: 4 - 2 ICT: Doran RC: Tokely crowd: 6827 1st yellow Tokely
  13. Aye Gordie and that is all down to good management I hope the doubters are taking note. Could be a feast of words to eat come the end of the season.
  14. I told you there were some sharp and clever people on this thread. Take you and I out, move d to the front and what have you got:- Dolt there were some sharp and clever people on this thread
  15. Bring on the highlights, first time i have really enjoyed listening to OAM they were actually takting note of what was happening at T Stadium in a positive sense, not a patronising or sarcastic comment from any of them about us. Could I have been right in thinking that Reguero was a steadying influence on the defence ? Did he take command ? did he give the midfield and front men confidence enough to go forward and make things happen? Someone mentioned his distribution was good. Did he cut out corners and move positively in the box as well?. Answers please' I would welcome your comments. It's hard not being able to go to the games to see for yourself where the team could be falling down and you suspect you know why. Dont get me wrong Esson is an excellent stopper but sometimes a defence needs that little bit more from a keeper. Something gelled today in a way that bodes well for the rest of the season. What was it????
