Regadless of opposition it gives the coaching staff an oportunity to assess levels of players attitude, concentration, fitness, team support, interraction and all sorts of abilities under different circumstances. It also guages and promotes togetherness, willingness and hunger forTeam selection when the season starts in earnest. Yes goal fests are great to see but remember our top players are playing in wekened sides and have suddenly found themselves having to be more aware of what is going on around them as well as playing their usual roles. Gratifying to be getting clean sheets though. Brora, although still Highland league, will be a much more challenging proposition for us and if we perform well there I for one will be saying that is good progress.

Excellent game, I feel we edged it but luck desreted us at the wrong time. good performances from all our guys Storey worked hard and meritted his place, Carson strong, aware and positive as ever. Toddy certainly not shoddy and almost a match winner. Danny just a little more oomph in his shots and he could have scored too.I feel sorry for Deas worked his socks off unselfishly tried to find Toddy when 'he could maybe put it in the net. Everyone else played their hearts out working away at both ends of the pitch. Not a loser in our team Well thats the cup run for this season over, now the most important part coming up we can go into these games with just the right amount of confidence We know we are capable and the lads want to succeed. Wondrerful performance, played with purpose, application and the desire to win. We fell back in the second half and county suddenly looked dangerous however the three subs turned the game right round again so well done managemenrt, coaching, all who played and the unheard roars of our supporters, a great night a great win and a booster towards promotiion when we go back on league duty.
