ICT V Celtic : Matchday Thread
Here's hoping my voice will come back tomorrow !

BIGGER crowds
Its a difficult time of year for some people to go to the match. That game was fantastic and televised around the globe too,we probably have far more admirers than you could imagine. The way the team are playing again, a real forth stand will be required for 2010.

Gordon Strachan

Poll for the youth of Invernessshire
When walking home from you know where on Sunday, I noticed a man and a young boy fully kitted out in Celtic gear with Invernessian accents with the young boy who must have been about 6 or 7 singing lets all laugh at Rangers. ICT invest a lot of time with local schools and I wondered if our youth could run a poll at school, it would be interesting to find out how many in their classes support their local team.

Reasons to support your LOCAL team
ICT fans don't trash the place when they loose a game The Osbournes men's toilets were flooded, all the toilets were blocked up with toilet paper with the water up to the rim and the pipes for the urinals were yanked off of the wall so that the water would spray on to the floor. You wouldn't normally expect that to happen on a quiet Sunday night between 7 and 8pm, then again there were quite a few people wearing green and white at the bar. Might just be coincidence, maybe someone out there could give more info.

Gordon Strachan
What a Muppet, Martin O'Neil was a far better manager and he would have genuinely acknowledged ICTs great performance. I thought the ref must have been a relation of Stachan,The ref should have been given the assist for the first goal as they got a free kick right in front of us why? I don't know. I thought the ref would start getting hassle off of the Celtic team.As their egos could not accept that our team was better than theirs so lets blame the ref.

Dons woe!
I thought this may happen after Rangers and Celtic postponed for Scotland, I'm waiting for Killy to do the same saying that they are low in numbers and can they start playing again in the spring.

Darren Dods eat yer heart out
I'm amazed how lucky Brewster was to find Phil at such short notice! I thought how are we going to replace Bobby Mann as he moved on to better things Dundee ? Then along came Dods, and off to DDU ?,and same thoughts again. Enter McGuire. In all fairness we are lucky to have the players that we do, all adding something different to the game.

No Deal for Morgan
Teletext quoted last night that JJ had not been in contact with Morgan, which usually means its a done deal
-
Ike Fraser
A good confident display I could even hear him shouting at his wall in the main stand. That must have been when the 'singing section' paused for breath.

CHRISTMAS SONGS
We keep bleeding, we keep keep bleeding winning !

Team for game against Celtic
Same formation again would be good with Bayne and Wilson coming on again as subs,The cracks are starting to show with Celtic playing so many games. Our confident team will run rings around them! Sorry Celtic you wont be able to leave early like your fans will, you'll have to play for the full 90 minutes. Clark Kent you have to sit on the bench for this one.

The Great Tannadice Horn Incident
Was Garry Glitter there!

Welcome Back?
Are we supposed to cheer if he makes a good save ??? don't think so.

Abuse directed at ICT players...
If you want to boo! someone please hassle the council, are they trying to close down the shops in the city centre or what, Last year it was long term imaginary roadworks in Academy street during the run up to Xmas and now its Queensgate circle, I feel sorry for the businesses in that area not to mention residents that have bought properties there, only to find they can no longer park at their home.

Should Tokely just walk back into the team??
If we have yet another clean sheet on Saturday then theres no need to change the back four. Why not play Tokely up front in training to see how it goes, he could run rings round the opposition in the box and we would then have an extra defender on the pitch to protect Fraser from corners and freekicks.

what have Killy been up to !
Now I know why Killy are low in numbers theyr'e training for another job. http://www.bcs.org/server.php?show=ConWebDoc.10652

Booing of McAllister
Well said Sophia. I was going to say more or less the same but you have used more syllables than I would have.
-
Booing of McAllister
I think the boo boys,I mean children, should only slag off the goalie for 45 mins and if you don't know which is the home or away goalie just ask someone next to you. Any player who plays well in the reserves deserves to be involved in the first team. Why not watch a reserves game and practice cheering.

New Assistant Manager
I was at the hospitality for the last DDU game, prior to Brewsters arrival and who was there, Shearer? and I'm sure Buckie were playing that day? he must be missing us. Anyone could be appointed though, has Alan Shearer been asked yet? I'm sure he would have a few contacts.

CAPTION COMPETITION
Cheer up Parky, I've got a bottle of Strathmore Spring fancy doing a bit of skipping?

Rankin Can Go
I remember the two late goals against Falkirk that win made my night and how well he played a few weeks after, He played like Don Cowie does now, appreciating the fact that he is now in the SPL. I also remember players frequently pinching the the ball off of him when he's looking for someone to pass to. If Rankin played week in week out then I would be able to judge him on only 90 minutes of football a fortnight. I would imagine a Manager is going to spent a far greater time than I do assessing the players day in day out, so he obviously knows far more than I do. So I'm going to leave it to Brewster to pick the team! If its to do with antics of the park, then would imagine that more will be revealed in due course when Rankin is away and by then is would be old news. Come on ICT {and the management} !!! I'm looking forward to conceding less goals.

Spot the Idiom
I have removed my earlier quote as I would not like to offend all users of PCs. So lets get back to slagging off the players as that seems OK.
