  1. Why couldn't the SPL use common sense more often as they have now increased the flexibility of which grounds can be shared, if they allowed this from the start of the season Gretna might still be OK. They probably could have achieved far cheaper ground rent with increased competition. Carlisle would have been the wisest option but the SPL wanted full control over the fixtures which has now completely backfired.
  2. Another youngster coming through the ranks or is he a signing that I missed during the window? A bit of both, he came from Aberdeen
  3. What do you mean Wife! she told me that she was single!
  4. Feck knows, there are so many teams capable of getting in to the top six this season the only ones not in the race are Gretna and Killy, DDU may even end up in the bottom six.
  5. Top six is well within our grasp. We have a squad that are more than capable of achieving it. We only have five of the bottom six teams to play now, (Falkirk are a bottom six team), well they will be when we are in the top six. Looking forward to beating the tarts on Saturday
  6. Their reaction to our goal was sh1t. I thought something bad had happened, the way they went quiet when Marius scored. They have a long way to go to become professional commentators.
  7. Still have 45 minutes to beat them again ! Hope we manage to equalise early,Then the Celtic fans can be OUR 12th man, knowing that Gers are winning 2- 0
  8. Still plenty of games to go before the split and to think that some football pundits had us down for being involved in a mini league with St Mirren, Gretna and Killy at the start of the season.
  9. Why not permanently fix the flag pole to the wheelchair, so that a tool has to be used to remove it and glue a ping pong ball to the top. This will also give the wheelchair more stability in flight when throwing it on to the pitch
  10. With two games a week we are going to see a few changes anyway. I hope the manager doesn't give in to the fans wanting subs on, I would rather a professional football manager made the decisions. On saying that, how about texting in your sub at a ?1 a go and the most texts gets the player on. joking, before anyone starts to analyse is too deeply,
  11. We are snapping up County's up and coming stars and County in return are getting our SPL veterans. If County ever make it to the SPL, it will be our ex players who put them there.
  12. Dundee must have been training in a ploughed field to get used to the pitch
  13. Clach could be bought out by Mr Soho and turned in to a 20,000 seater fully enclosed brothel. An earlier post mentioned Clydebank. I hadn't thought of that option, Clach could sell up and try to move to Ireland.
  14. Gretna shouldn't be slagged of, they have made a massive contribution to the SPL since joining for instance ... .......... I'll have to get back to you on this one. (there must be something ?)
  15. Imrie, apparently had plans for Killie or Aberdeen on a pre contract agreement at the end of the season but was keen to play SPL football.(Clyde would have lost him for nothing at the end of the season) Just as well he didn't go to Killy, Morgan would be even further down the list for the left wing.
  16. Couldn't agree more, young lower league players are the equivalent of penny shares to the stock market, if they come good. Why buy players from teams who don't want them, when we have a good enough team already, unless they compliment our style of play, Why not add young hidden gems to the team and hope they come good. We also have a very promising youth team.
  17. Can we sign the fans too !
  18. Animals, I think you are trying to exaggerate things slightly, If I didn't like the people I was sitting amongst at every home game then I too would move. Theres a difference between sitting in amongst home fans and supporting the opposite team and having lunch and a few drinks and watching the match in the seats ALLOCATED BY THE CLUB But hey everyones entitled to an opinion. How would you describe people who make hand gestures towards others and dish out verbal abuse and threats of violence? There is no way to excuse what you have just quoted as these type of people should be removed. What I am saying is that you should still be allowed to support your team. On a more positive note the two incidents happened on the first and second home games of the season and no recent games have been quoted.

  20. I must say although I was on one earlier I have to agree that this is shocking Hate to say this but have you ever thought of moving seats, you don't have to leave, The club make good money from the hospitality package, I know its not nice when away supporters are sitting in front of you especially if they are winning but they have to sit somewhere. An old friend of mine in Glasgow sometimes gets hospitality tickets at Celtic park. He's green and white through and through,If I went, I too would be one of those bad fans who would be celebrating when ICT score against Celtic.
  21. I think the quality of Scottish football is improving year on year and now SPL teams believe that they can beat the OF, instead of sitting in deep and hoping for a point after defending for 90 minutes. On Sunday I thought it was Rangers who were happy to earn a point for most of the game. From the old firms point of view, they have to play so many games, they only have to do enough to win the match.
  22. and your point ? bottom line - ask any statistician and they will tell you that an own goal scored by an opposition player is credited to the team for whom it was scored and likewise an own goal scored by an ICT player into his own net counts for the opposition in stats. The numbers of OGs - for and against - in ICT's case are miniscule. I dont have the figures to hand as I am at work but I dont think its even into double figures. Well said, but your still missing the point, I am trying to change the 1000th goal stats, I do not want goal 1000 to become a stumbling block. Was Tokely thinking we get a point when I smash this one in to the back of the net or goal 1000! I would rather look forward to the next three points than 1000 If you want to pick holes then its up to you, if the new statistics become irrelevant then no pressure on the next goal, do you see where I'm coming from yet, change the figures, for now. That is my point. Forget goal 1000, think of the 'TEAM' winning three points instead Ps when we reach goal 2000 please tell us who scored it, after the event has passed.
  23. Your missing the point, I'm more interested in our team playing well and getting three points at the next game, than goal 1000.
  24. I don't care now, and I don't think that I will be talking in the future about who scored the 1000Th goal. I will probably be talking about how good our players are, cracking goals, great saves and good games. not goal 1000. We haven't really scored 999 goals as this tally probably includes oppositions OGs,if we added our own OGs too then we have already achieved this,
