The Pride of the Highlands
30 years ago it was predicted that the police HQ would be the centre of Inverness. With the population moving outwards why put it at the opposite end of the city where it's restricted by steep hills forestry and Lord Burton estate land. If ASDA had to pay to improve an A9 junction just to get additional traffic to a small supermarket in Tesco town, then the requirements by the council to improve access for 1000 vehicles at once would be laughable. Land by the UHI and next to a railway line makes more sense. The Dualed A96 would run right next to it in the next 10-20 years and by then ICTsince1994 will be moaning that ICTFC had changed to Inverness FC But that's another story for another day.

Inverness CT -V- Ross County
Match is on Alba. Malraney looks promising but the continual high direct ball to him from goal seemed pretty ineffective, unless it's played into space for him to collect from defence or midfield or perhaps a quick goal kick to him on the halfway line and he was looking for it a few times and didn't get. A lot of good things to take from the game and if our new signing is out injured for a while then hopefully we aren't far away from having the leagues best centre back pairing back in action together again.

Matchday - Alloa v Inverness CT LC
Would it not be better to get just 5% of the additional 12,000 fans to go to 5 category A matches and get their moneys worth or go to 1 to 2 hospitality games a season. To get something back for their contribution. Or even get them to attend 1 extra game a season. Even the 10 ticket season book seemed like a good idea but who actually bought any? My plan would be. Affiliation with the club. Get them in the ground. Increase frequency of visits to the stadium. Tourists and one offs are a bonus but 1 season ticket book sale is worth more than 19 tourists turning up for a match for their one and only visit to Inverness. The St book holder contributes year on year.

Ha Ha you don't even live in Scotland and don't have a season ticket but find it more important to not only be born in Inverness but be conceived their too. You are the king of the wind up merchants.

What is it £3 dearer than last year? Fans could have got an extra 5% off if they bought the ST book by a certain date. If fans can't commit to a season ticket book. Then the occasional £30 (max price main stand) shouldn't be a problem. As CaleyD mentions 6 of your games are free if you buy a Season Ticket and everyone is looking for a bargain these days. Either phone, online or buy it at the club shop and the Season Ticket book is in your hand, all ready to use for our first home game.

Thank goodness we don't have a rampant Lion like Rangers or St Johnstones city crest. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.scotsman.com/sport/football/competitions/premiership/threat-to-spfl-club-badges-could-become-widespread-1-4101651/amp?client=ms-android-motorola

It's only £10.56 a month dearer than that for the North Stand adult ST book. Paying in 10 monthly installments. Even cheaper paying it up in one go. Once the season ticket book is paid for then you don't give the cost of the match a second thought what ever time of year

TBH. FWIW. TBF I don't see much point in grinding this out for months regarding merchandise when deals have been signed. Why not put the poll idea to bed until spring as its counter productive.

I can understand it being done for commercial reasons with new gear on sale regarding Tracksuits, T shirts etc it won't make an Iota of a difference to the football strips as it's a different design but with it being a merged club and more so with Caley Jags Together not being that old to strengthen ties between the two former clubs it doesn't make much sense. Inverness CT would have been the next sensible phase of progression. If at all required. I can't even think of a single chant with ICT in it. It may be abbreviated across the main stand but unless you own a 50,000 seater stadium initials are all you are ever going to get. If it's to strength ties with the youth then our manager can do more for the club visiting schools than an abbreviation ever will and that's down to how well Richie projects himself. I think this guy has a good pitch. I'm having to remind myself that it's only on merchandise and that the club have NOT changed their identity so it's not the end of the world. I would rather it stayed the same as the crest is the heart of the club, and it comes before the stadium, board. players, fans or anyone paid or unpaid associated with the club. However it doesn't weaken my support for the team in anyway.

Potentially our most entertaining season. More category A matches. More cost for individual matches yet it's cheaper to buy a Season Ticket. https://indd.adobe.com/view/5c1d6b2c-4ed6-4785-8ba0-4e6296dba9fc

Matchday Thread v Partick
I've seen us play against Arbroath a couple of times in the League Cup away from home and make heavy weather of it. I've also seen us struggle in the cup against Dunfermline and forced a replay to keep us in the match, Chris Smith saved our bacon in both games. Regarding Saturdays result it's early days.

First defeat of the season feels like a bigger blow than it should. That's only due to them playing so well prior. Hopefully they'll dust themselves down and be all ready to go for Tuesday night. Its early days.

500:1 win the league I'm not sure who he is either but it looks like he's fallen at the first fence.

Premiership Table 2016-17
Looks like the football banter has started already for the season. INVERNESS: Manager: Richie Foran. Ground: Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Last season: 7th. Key man: Owain Fon Williams. Title odds: 500/1. MOST people seem to think Inverness will be safe but for me they are favourites for relegation. They have brought in Billy King, who spent half of last season on loan at Rangers, as well as former Aberdeen defender Kevin McNaughton. Aside from that they have done very little and Caley – who shockingly let John Hughes go – could struggle under Irish rookie Richie Foran. Verdict: 12th. I struggle to see enough strength and depth in a Caley side who have over-achieved in the past few years Read more at http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/scottish-premiership-2016-17-can-8553522#CWHJzgseHyspYWTW.99

Club Video : Match Highlights etc...
Are there access ducts under the A9? Just for a shortcut to long man drive. I will probably subscribe too by the way. A wee heads up the Partick match is on Alba on Sunday.
