  1. You do the Greg Tansey and you turn around and that's what it's all about. Oh Greg, Greg, Tansey. Welcome back Greg.
  2. Regarding Tansey, fuming or not, were into the start of Feb already, only 3 and a half months left. The apparent Dandy Dons unhappy dressing room may be resolved by then.
  3. Just to add a bit of balance that private text didn't say an indefinite ban just said for the Motherwell game. Maybe it was for unruly behaviour. If it was John H's decision, then it was made by someone who gives free time to the club via CJT, free time to supporters bus users and additional free time in other interests which are to instill core values in youngsters. No point starting a witch hunt without all the facts or even knowing who it should be aimed at in the first place. Hoping all fans involved make it to the match. Even if it is during a 'trial' period on a different bus.
  4. Would have been a 33 seater Alex. The Aviemore community bus is 90p per mile and 60p after 100 miles no charges for fuel if you live in Aviemore area its £210 for 16 seats there and back. 240 miles. Hopefully it can all be resolved soon and get back to the main football focus
  5. I'm assuming and only assuming that a smoke bomb was let off on the bus and all have been banned until the culprit has been named. Or damage to the bus maybe ? Have they all been banned for just singing ? Has anyone watched the X factor ?
  6. Chill and relax Scarlet.
  7. Good way to offset the profits, buy X amount of season tickets to save paying tax which also buffers the deficit of the loss making club. I only know of 1 local person who has started supporting county, never had an interest in footy until his new partner who's from Rossshire moved in, now 2 St bought for that address but I know of far more old pals who support various other SPFL clubs who now go to TCS because their kids are ICT fans.
  8. If Celtic have a wobble in the League and Aberdeen go on a good run. It may well be possible to do a Northern trebble Cup tour come May.
  9. Best rated grounds No 1 for UK Man united, 2nd Man City, 3rd Castle Greyscull.???
  10. I heard this being discussed on radio Scotland on Saturday morning. Pretty poor decision as they didn't want to split the mainstand and have both fans sharing the servery areas. They highlighted what teams they support ie Motherwell etc and had tickets for the main stand but in hospitality, as with hospitality its mixed supporters yet they can't do it for normal paying fans. St Johnstone were allocated less than an average home match and Hibs were allocated double. Pretty poor way to treat the Perth fans. Sporting integrity not.
  11. So its quite plausible for County fans to do the same in reverse, moving from villages to a city.
  12. Was thinking the same, great achievement beating Celtic, their fans will be delighted, would be good to have both cups in the Highlands.
  13. Hi Joe did you move from a home on our side of the bridge?
  14. Was only said in jest. Your above statistic dosnt surprise me one iota. It has a lot more to do with living in a rural area and moving to Inverness for a better lifestyle and employment prospects, than all our fans crossing the bridge. If you want to start naming local pubs there are a few of them who are from north of the bridge and are county fans. Does it really matter what their post code is.
  15. I don't see how that's a threat tbh. If the tourists want to buy the lucky charms and pegs its entirely up to them.
  16. Pity its off. At least we don't lose and revenue from sky.
  17. Thanks for the tip, I'll do that when I get home.
  18. Has the weather been pretty dire.?
  19. Aye part time job, full-time wage with probably another part time job on top.
  20. Valid point in your 2 nd paragraph. It's good to maintain links with fans, if fortunes change you have them back more frequently. If they're not seen for years then you've lost them all together. Regulars would pay a bit less, irregular fans would pay to turn up, pay extra money which balances the shortfall. New curious fans may turn up for a change but would have no interest forking out £25 just to see what goes on but if it was £5, its an extra £5 and hopefully they will stick around. Lastly those youngsters behind the goal will sell their match day experience to anyone who wants to listen. Their seat would norm cost £10. Personally I would take a hit and reduce to £5. Hope that they encourage more to attend and pay the higher rates a year or 2 down the line.
  21. the club are guaranteed over 2500 full paying Aberdeen fans alone plus loads more full paying fans for the home end we had 6400 for the last home game. That would absolutely cripple the club getting Aberdonians to pay what they can. For a smaller match you can even take a small loss IF it genuinely encourages more to frequently attend in the future. No point what so ever dropping prices for a well supported game.
  22. To coin a phrase "hitting the wall" I think that's what would happen taking a side step just before the turnstiles.
  23. Great tip found this came in really handy Getting away from a car park attendant.
  24. It is covered by the criminal law act 1995. Punishable by law regarding entering a stadium with a smoke bomb or flare as stated at the back of a season ticket book.
