  1. I pulled in at Ballanluig to spend a penny earlier in the year. There were 2 men standing at the back of a car struggling to get the screw cap off of a container of screenwash, after returning from the cafe these two guys were still trying their best to get it open, thinking to myself these guys are going to be here all day, I took it off them unscrewed it and gave it back. I drove off thinking, Im sure Ive seen that guy somewhere else before. Cant be sure though but he certainly looked familiar.
  2. And this one follows
  3. I stuck some brief clips on youtube but this ones better
  4. I was told by a reliable source that there wouldnt be any preseason if we made it into Europe, however at the time I dont think the person thought we would be winning the Scottish cup and getting an extra 2 weeks to prepare. Aberdeen would be good for both parties and playing against Elgin would be good for our fan base through there but apart from that Im assuming other friendlies will be with the reserves and trialists.
  5. No probs
  6. Looks like I will have to post a video clip of one on the directors twerking some other time.
  7. Still having problems and I forgot to mention its 2 video clips, the largest one being 21MB
  8. Error no file was selected for upload is displayed when transfer of file has been completed. Tried flash 9 and basic. I has this problem before trying to download an 8mp picture and had to retake it at a lower resolution for it to download
  9. Is there problems downloading from windows 7, maximum size of file is 21,500kb it fails to download a video tried it on basic and other version

I nearly forgot the outstanding work of Caley Jags Together. Making the card idea come to life. All those volunteers that made it happen. The pop up shop. ICT merchandise is everywhere now. All those buses and all the logistics behind it. And all they are looking for is £1 from you to become a member.

Is this in danger of becoming a negative thread. We won the oldest cup in football (broken repaired replica, lol) The city got right behind the club and the region too. I've been getting well done handshakes from most of my customers. We took double the amount of fans to a final than we did last year. The city was buzzing Saturday night. I've never witnessed that before Rangers 9 in a row didn't even come close. Thousands turned out to cheer on the cup winners. The stig has got 15.4 K followers on twitter Big things are happening if you allow it to. In just over 4 weeks TCS will be sold out. Why get dragged down by the past when we can push on to the next level. This Is Our Time !
  13. Is that layby 57?

Thanks for the clarity Charles. I Was just going by what had been posted on this site years ago.Can anyone join or is it still you have to find 2 members to nominate you in. The whole town was buzzing Saturday night with everyone clad in their colours. A great way to promote the club don't you think.

Inverness reds charge £16 pa and £10 for concession. It would be good to find a cheaper way to create our own supporter groups though, get driven by bus to the match and have fans make a day of it.

At least your in the right area to get a good price for a bus. But with everyone spread out down there and a local pub having no affiliation with ICT or not being able to make money on the back of it then it makes it more difficult to have a pub subsidise the transport, add on to that an early departure and late return, then there's 0 money to be made for a pub. You then have the who spends the £800 to get a bus. Cheapest option may be to hire a minibus and take turns to drive. An official supporters club would involve a treasurer etc.Not unless it was part of a combined effort linked to an already formed supporters club etc and its worth planning ahead for the Euro fixture.

Hi Uncle Roy...!!!! We had this for the unveiling of the last away top. Keep up. Don't think beer was involved the last time.

£2.50 a drink? Extortion! You'll get most drinks far cheaper than that any night of the week in the ICT Social Club! Now there's another dimension. If a larger percentage of an increased fan base could be persuaded to offer their pub allegiance to one of the cheapest establishments in town, the football club would also benefit since it is the overwhelming beneficiary of Social Club profits. Isn't the social club a private members club, invitation only. with a locked door. Wasn't the club sold to a director to create extra funds. I'm not sure how this would help the club. Having x amount of people wearing ICT tops behind closed doors hardly raises the profile of the club.

I believe this was mentioned before and the club tried it. It probably wasn't successful enough to repeat.

Getting back to the original heading. The club are pretty switched on anyway. A few ideas. Beer, bouncy castle, burgers and band theme day. An ICT night, where the bars in the town offer set drinks at £2.50 if you wear an ICT top. Get your picture taken holding the cup with every st book sold and have it emailed to you. The city getting behind the club again for its first European night.

I think an extra 5% (from the final) will turn up by doing nothing. If our commercial dept can push that up to 10% then its over 1000 extra fans and thats still a success even with keeping only 1 in 10 of the Hampden heros. I havent seen the match on tv yet but if it comes across well then thats a big boost too and Ive heard of non football fans watching it and getting very animated when that 2nd goal went in. I would like to see supporters clubs set up too, it adds character and creates a stronger bond in the community. A few beers before the match, the football then back to the pub seems very appealing to some, even removing these vocal drunk fans from the equation, it makes getting to the stadium extremely easy. I was chatting to a few people about this on Saturday night and got very positive feedback, a home match becomes a day out like an away day, it just depends how simple or how complicating you want to make it to set up.
