Message from Caleyjagstogther re Final Buses
12th Man replied to old caley girl's topic in Caley Thistle
They were left on for the semi, a wee reminder that you can't drink on a football bus. -
Im waiting for Doofers dad to reply to that one, seeing as his avatar is 'Marty Feldman' with 2 big I's

If its at the expense of 1st major cup then I don't think anyone minds.

I hope the players enjoyed their wee training session today.

Its a game I would have probably put Celtic down to win by a few goals or more. For us its a training session against good opposition whilst not picking up knocks or cards.

Its the first time I have seen the shop today and just wanted to say what an excellent job everyone has done pulling that together. A really professional job, well impressed, its a decent size shop and it was mobbed, a big thumbs up to the council for the free shop in a prominent place and to all the staff. More and more shops are coming on board and promoting ICT too.

The dream tells me that you like ICT fc. Also that in life you see obstacles in your way, others are taking the credit for your work and you preferred it like it used to be. Lol

People have been doing fabulous work to promote the club. Scotty mentioned the word pioneers in the past and there's plenty of people within the club and externally that have been doing their bit and more to make the club stronger. Its up to Falkirk to conduct their business as they please and must be in a position to sit back and let things take care of themselves. Where as we push the boundaries and don't settle for 6 or 7,000 at a cup final and it all makes the build up all the more enjoyable. Who knows maybe even Traffic Scotland will get involved next.

I wasn't aware anyone was arguing nor comparing what they can do with their private parts. Some people look into things a little too deeply.

Seeing as hes the man. He's not fat or round He's worth 2 million pounds Ryan Christie Ryan Christie. I don't think any club had come up with anything similar before.

I heard new shoes on the radio just the other day and thought that could work for us, I never knew they got in first. Ive never been to a Brorra match so wouldnt know.

Red N Blues Woke up cold on Saturday, I'm looking tired and feeling quite sick, I felt like there was something missing in my day to day life, So I quickly opened the wardrobe, Pulled out some jeans and a Caley Thistle Shirt that seemed clean, Topped it off with a hat n scarf in red and blue Now I feel like part of the team, And I thought these clothes really suit me. Hey, I put my red and blues on, And suddenly everything is right, I said, hey, I put my red and blues on and everybody's smiling, It's so inviting, Oh, short on money, But long on time, Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine, And I'm running late, And I don't need an excuse, 'Cause I'm wearing my red and blues, Woke up late on Sunday, And I'm seeing stars as I'm rubbing my eyes, And I felt like there was one day missing, As I focused on the time, And I made my way to the kitchen, But I had to stop from the shock of what I found, A room full of all off my friends all dancing round and round, And I thought hello my red and blues Bye bye them blues. Hey, I put my red and blues on, And suddenly everything is right, I said, hey, I put my red and blues on and everybody's smiling, It's so inviting, Oh, short on money, But long on time, Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine, And I'm running late, And I don't need an excuse, 'Cause I'm wearing my red and blue. Take me wandering through these streets, Where bright lights and angels meet, Stone to stone they take me on, I'm walking till' the break of dawn. [x2] Hey, I put my red and blues on, And suddenly everything is right, I said, hey, I put my red and blues and everybody's smiling, It's so inviting, Oh, short on money, But long on time, Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine, And I'm running late, And I don't need an excuse, 'Cause I'm wearing my red and blues. Its a replica, besides it won't get fixed on a Saturday anyway. Would the trophy centre have a similar one to borrow. To the kids its a cup and what it represents and not the detail. If ICT win it just promise to return with the real, ERM replica.

Nobody will be moaning about not getting tickets, there will be tickets for everybody who wants one.As we are all pulling figures out of the air then its hard to disagree. However if 10,000 have been set aside for neutrals, there's also hospitality and free tickets for sponsors etc will fill up all those seats around the podium. Then how many blocks will actually be left? If 4,000 suddenly want tickets will they get them Sorry but it seems you've just made all that up. 1 section and one of the tiny sections are on sale to neutrals. That 1,000 max. It had been mentioned 300 have been sold there. There will be literally thousands of spare seats on the day. You haven't answered how it is our last section we are on? Thats simply not true. Also I think people overstate the sponsors and comp tickets. At countys final they announced about 17k tickets sold. Dundee utd announced about 29k. The crowd was 47k. Not the huge amount of sponsor tickets mentioned here. similar story for last year. Fair point Joe you obviously have a lot more information to hand than the rest of us who are just going by what's already been posted.

Its hardly a big deal. Its going to be a great day out anyway so Im not looking for for things to moan about. Sales have been steady and now that we are down to our last section the moaning will start about not getting tickets and that's not a direct dig at you renegade
-
Any space for 2 more. I wouldn't mind going for a drink but am willing to help out with the card display if required 1st. So glad we are getting a local bus with no driving involved.
-
It will look for complete rows of seats first, can't be more than 50 seats left, then on to block 7
-
Just bumping this on the ticket sales topic. http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/scottish-cup-final-buses-tickets-16691849772?ref=ebtnebtckt Now onto bus 25 ! along with all the other buses going down its going to be a pretty impressive convoy

Is the dog younger than 14 ?

Great idea Dougle at least for the Summer months and compete with the whisky and tartan shops for the tourist trade. The staff would be the best to offer advice on that one if its viable. In reality though I don't know how much stock would have to be sold just to break even. Perhaps it would be nice to see the shop still on the go during the European cup matches. We will not only want to fill up the home end but also claim some of the away end too. Like the Div 1 match against St Johnstone.
-
What shop would have a dog in it wearing an ICT top. Specksavers?
-
Dougle, I believe it was Rocky who posted somewhere that 10,000 tickets were bought and given away. How much did their transport cost ? On top of that they were well supported by their ICT supporting neighbours who wanted County to win as they were representing the Highlands. Are County fans noble enough to return the support. I was speaking to Mikey Diamond in the Cairngorm in Aviemore, whilst watching Counties final, he wished them well and wanted to see a Highland team to lift the cup. RIP Mikey. Anyway its a new dawn.
