I nearly forgot the outstanding work of Caley Jags Together. Making the card idea come to life. All those volunteers that made it happen. The pop up shop. ICT merchandise is everywhere now. All those buses and all the logistics behind it. And all they are looking for is £1 from you to become a member.

Is this in danger of becoming a negative thread. We won the oldest cup in football (broken repaired replica, lol) The city got right behind the club and the region too. I've been getting well done handshakes from most of my customers. We took double the amount of fans to a final than we did last year. The city was buzzing Saturday night. I've never witnessed that before Rangers 9 in a row didn't even come close. Thousands turned out to cheer on the cup winners. The stig has got 15.4 K followers on twitter Big things are happening if you allow it to. In just over 4 weeks TCS will be sold out. Why get dragged down by the past when we can push on to the next level. This Is Our Time !
  8. Is that layby 57?
  9. Thanks for the clarity Charles. I Was just going by what had been posted on this site years ago.Can anyone join or is it still you have to find 2 members to nominate you in. The whole town was buzzing Saturday night with everyone clad in their colours. A great way to promote the club don't you think.
  10. Inverness reds charge £16 pa and £10 for concession. It would be good to find a cheaper way to create our own supporter groups though, get driven by bus to the match and have fans make a day of it.
  11. At least your in the right area to get a good price for a bus. But with everyone spread out down there and a local pub having no affiliation with ICT or not being able to make money on the back of it then it makes it more difficult to have a pub subsidise the transport, add on to that an early departure and late return, then there's 0 money to be made for a pub. You then have the who spends the £800 to get a bus. Cheapest option may be to hire a minibus and take turns to drive. An official supporters club would involve a treasurer etc.Not unless it was part of a combined effort linked to an already formed supporters club etc and its worth planning ahead for the Euro fixture.
  12. Hi Uncle Roy...!!!! We had this for the unveiling of the last away top. Keep up. Don't think beer was involved the last time.
  13. £2.50 a drink? Extortion! You'll get most drinks far cheaper than that any night of the week in the ICT Social Club! Now there's another dimension. If a larger percentage of an increased fan base could be persuaded to offer their pub allegiance to one of the cheapest establishments in town, the football club would also benefit since it is the overwhelming beneficiary of Social Club profits. Isn't the social club a private members club, invitation only. with a locked door. Wasn't the club sold to a director to create extra funds. I'm not sure how this would help the club. Having x amount of people wearing ICT tops behind closed doors hardly raises the profile of the club.
  14. I believe this was mentioned before and the club tried it. It probably wasn't successful enough to repeat.
  15. Getting back to the original heading. The club are pretty switched on anyway. A few ideas. Beer, bouncy castle, burgers and band theme day. An ICT night, where the bars in the town offer set drinks at £2.50 if you wear an ICT top. Get your picture taken holding the cup with every st book sold and have it emailed to you. The city getting behind the club again for its first European night.
  16. Does the Dows bus still run and how much does it cost?
  17. Yes IHE I think we had more fans but Falkirk had more spectators
  18. After the season weeve had I think we can attract anyone at any age.
  19. I think an extra 5% (from the final) will turn up by doing nothing. If our commercial dept can push that up to 10% then its over 1000 extra fans and thats still a success even with keeping only 1 in 10 of the Hampden heros. I havent seen the match on tv yet but if it comes across well then thats a big boost too and Ive heard of non football fans watching it and getting very animated when that 2nd goal went in. I would like to see supporters clubs set up too, it adds character and creates a stronger bond in the community. A few beers before the match, the football then back to the pub seems very appealing to some, even removing these vocal drunk fans from the equation, it makes getting to the stadium extremely easy. I was chatting to a few people about this on Saturday night and got very positive feedback, a home match becomes a day out like an away day, it just depends how simple or how complicating you want to make it to set up.
  20. Its good that there will be a lot of data stored from match tickets, bus and merchandise sales to contact fans to buy season tickets. We even got 17 new CJT members on our bus, if flyers were available for season tickets they would have been dished out too, lol. Im renewing my season ticket soon to guarantee buying a ticket for our European home fixture, Im pretty sure that game will be a sell out.
  21. I think someone posted it was Peter Paul, regardless of who it was, its what we do and would of happened anyway.
  22. In too good a mood to moan about narrow minded erseholes who cant be bothered giving extra media coverage. We won it in the hard way. We did 5 in a row knocking out 3 SPFL teams including our league bogey team, St Mirren, Celtic and 2 Championship teams. We didnt get lucky draws to make the final like Gretna. We didnt need to go millions of pounds in to debt to be there. We didnt need a wealthy billionaire to get us there either. We earned the right to be there, even with the resources that we have and we still won it, because of that Im Proud, very Proud. Now if the BBC Scotland cant be bothered covering it for local evening TV viewing and choose to cover a few thugs hitting each other instead and you don't need any special skills for that. Then perhaps the BBC has lost a bit of credibility.
  23. The tickets may not be on the website but the club have been selling them all day and as mentioned you can still buy them on the day.
  24. I have some 4m high flag poles which are carbon fiber telescopic. £10 each and can deliver locally Fri evening if required. NB these poles are not allowed in to a football ground, in case they are used as a weapon Would be fine displaying a flag in your garden, etc though. Send me a pm if interested. Unavailable all of Saturday.
  25. I will post after the match.
