Ryan Christie
If Le Rangers were paying him £7,000 per week, I'm sure he would be saying more or less the same.

Replacement Striker?
At 5'11" would he be considered as a tall storey

Ryan Christie
Trouble is he may not want to join that entirely different club..... My " may" carries just as much weight as your "may not" There's an awful lot of speculation on this thread at the minute. No one really knows if a better offer is on the cards for ICT and Ryan tomorrow.

Ryan Christie
Well all the best Ryan. Hope all goes well with the negotiations, you never know you may be with an entirely different club come 6pm tomorrow who may have put in a far higher offer.

It's not all doom and gloom
Have to agree with that one. Probably a sentimental decision from Butcher to give his buddy one last big deal after all their years working together. Richie delivered for Butcher, and Butcher delivered for Richie. Seems fair enough, although maybe not such good business from the club's perspective! To be fair, he certainly didn't look 'past it' before his injury, so he might still come back into the team and make a significant contribution. Since this thread is about looking on the bright side - we've had a terrible start but we aren't isolated at the bottom. In fact, one win would have us knocking on the door of the top 6. We've also now seen enough of the SPL to discern that most of the other teams aren't any better than us. actually Bucher had left the building when Foran got his contract. In fact I think it was also signed before Yogi arrived! You beat me to it. I thought the deal was to stop Richie following Mr T to Hibs. I'm pretty sure that Yogi mentioned when he came in that Richie was going to be his successor.

Ryan Christie
Not much to talk about really until we find out who's interested and what's on the table. Ryan Christie has a great career ahead of him. Who ever buys him will have a great player and will make a good profit if they choose to sell him on. Sounds like a good investment to me. 500k sounds a little too cheap at the minute regarding the future profit involved and coming from a club the size of Inverness they don't have to break the bank to pay his wage. Sounds like a very good investment.

Supporters Buses
It was only a suggestion but default or not it still gives you extra funds. If Scotty was to allow an extra icon next to a user name and access to a private diary page, a seat could be booked in advance, (not paid for)the people could pay CJT via PAYPAL etc for the season, even if it was adults £5 pa, via direct depit and CTO could get an email to update the site users.. CJT get a financial cushion and x amount could be used to buy additional shares in the club. I know its a pity we don't have other clubs as close as the central belt teams which would cost only a few hundred in comparison for an hours travel but if the regulars book ahead then you know what to budget for. Like I said only a suggestion and well done for offering transport in the first place.

Injury Updates
Thats great news. A strong regular defence isn't far away then. The team will get a big lift.

That sounds like Rangers or Hearts but vice versa regarding winning cups.

Replacement Striker?
Dean Shields was on our wanted list a few seasons back but went elsewhere for more cash.

Supporters Buses
I would like to second that. I remember years ago there used to be a 2 tier system for members and non members. Would that work again? have an annual payment for membership or a means to make a donation. I wouldnt mind contributing £10 a year for membership to help funds even if I would seldomly use it. Joining CJT for £1doesnt make much money for anyone. Could a bus seat be reserved on a diary on this site not just for the next game but for the season if someone wanted to book ahead. Can we get cheaper buses. And thanks again for spare time given to make it all run.

That would fit in well with our numerous ties with Italy.

Blacksmiths Culloden transport to Stadium
Response has been kind of limited tbh, its early days but then again I don't have the free time to promote it as well as it could be. Cost will fluctuate between £3.50 and £4.50 dependant on interest. Unless someone has a free minibus and driver to donate, lol. The next planned muster will be for the Friday night Hearts match 11th September, departing 1 hour before ko and returning 10 mins after the whistle. So its not going to be run for every home game for the time being. If your interested let me know asap to get things organised. Ditch the car and try out the Caley Jags Bar.

A long as the selling bit isn't on the cheap and a few interested parties should surely push the price up.

Blacksmiths Culloden transport to Stadium
Is anyone looking for transport to the Partick match from Culloden leaving 6:45 pm from the Blacksmiths. Cost should be around £3- £3.75 a head depending on how the numbers work out. Send me a pm with your name and mob no if you haven't done so already. I would be looking to get the numbers and transport arranged around 2pm on Wednesday.

Your right there, typo of a players name causes major unrest but the County players chants seem fine.

St Johnstone -V Inverness CT
I wouldn't say its massively disappointing to drop 2 points but pretty much spot on with the rest. The slate is wiped clean from last season and its good progression from last week. We also have outfield players and new signings proving their worth which is promising. Its still early in the season so I'm not expecting too much too soon

Positives
Gary Warren will be back in time for a cup final.

"Caley you're sh*te"
I thought it was 50k ish and at the time I felt the only reason he was getting a game ahead of the rest of the team was because money was spent on him, once he had more time to settle in he became one of the better players in the team, so heres hoping the new starts get their chance to settle in too.

Inverness CT -V- Motherwell
I was expecting a very wet and windy match as it was blowing a gale and lashing it downdown not far away from the stadium. I was also expecting a good performance following up the cup win and finishing 3rd. I'm glad we have got this game out the way as expectation levels can now be readjusted. The players have gone from the highs of the cup final and winning the cup, followed by the hype of the Europa league fixtures and are now back to league business with expectation levels so high we are now the new Celtic of the North. Aberdeen were poor at the start of last season due to the dip in form after getting knocked out of the Europa league too. I can now get back to being an ICT fan in the good games as well as the poor ones. I don't think I can make the next home game but will be looking forward to the one after that.

Realistic expectations for this year??
Put a bit of distance between us and 11th and 12th and see what happens. Make more noise at the ground and get more fans in.
