  1. By going on so much about it in a negative way it takes the shine off of the accomplishment, even if it is meant with the best of intentions. Great achievement for our home grown talent. So Im well pleased for him.
  2. Well done. The Blind Broadcasting Corperation don't always get it right but you won it all the same.
  3. 3 semi finals in 3 years
  4. Cant really complain about days or times in Glasgow when we could possibly be playing somewhere in Europe in a few months.
  5. I'm assuming the match containing the largest club will be played last. Which means it is possible that if united win, our match may be on a Saturday. Only based that on how the media seem to work.
  6. Another new pitch didn't they lay one a few months ago. I heard someone called Hector Broklebank will be making a delivery to add the finishing touches.
  7. Good game to watch with Raith not really coming into it much until going a goal down and even then we snuffed out any attack they made. Good composure and discipline from the team to pass the ball around safely when 1-0 up near the end, which is far better than giving it away at one end and letting them score at the other to force a replay. Scottish cup semi- Bring it on.
  8. I think everyone must be having a wee jig with the chairman. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=riverdance++x+factor&FORM=VIRE1#view=detail&mid=147BEE453958C9ACF64D147BEE453958C9ACF64D
  9. I don't quite think it has sunk in yet that we are in the Scottish cup semi finals again after all this time. Where is every one tonight.
  10. I feel sorry for his training partner, practice makes perfect.
  11. Its all down to us beating Raith Rovers until then we aint going anywhere. Its a big game for both teams
  12. Aye Alex if it didn't rain so heavy the covers would have come off and we would be at the football match and it would be plane sailing (not plain sailing) lol
  13. Just to clarify the high tide was due at 13:30 and was predicted to be 2nd highest of the year so far. Happy now?If it was a spring tide, with a strong Easterly wind raising the tide higher also blowing the water across the road and high water was about 8-10 am when the pitch inspection occurred then yes you could blame the tide but none if the above happened. People will read your statement of 2nd highest of the year when really it could be nearly 2m higher than now for a spring tide but if it doesn't rain then no one notices the tide as they are busy watching footy
  14. How about Alba. They owe us a live match from a cancellation at Victoria park.
  15. The club would have worked hard to get the game on but don't blame tides unless you can tell me what time high water was and how high the exceptionally high tide was. If the sea was to blame a lot more games would get cancelled.
  16. Maybe put some old towels down on the problem areas before the covers go on and put towels on the puddles when the covers come off. A sledge takes them to the side to get wrung out. When dry enough fork and chuck some dry towels on top. Just a thought. I wonder if the rearranged match will make the TV.
  17. Aha trio of Hunting high and low, Take on me and Cry Wolf. Shifty Cifty ban bung
  18. Cifti song titles anyone. It wasn't me.
  19. The fans were in good voice that day. That guy with the marching drum had the whole stands backing. Like us back then Raith are a good team and if it wasn't for the relegated big clubs they would only be 7 points from 1st spot.
  20. Not proven wtf. Did he tell them that he wasn't playing that day and he was at his friends house all day playing connect four. Hes starting to make Jim Goodwin look like a Morris dancer. What goes around comes around, his cards are now marked, even if he did get a ban it wouldn't have helped us in any way at all. Maybe the decisions against him in the future will be kinder to us
  21. Well said DD whilst on the subject of complaining we could start a petition on line to regionalise round 1 & 2 of the Europa league. With 14 days notice, arranging travel and work visas for players it takes the gloss off the achievement slightly. If fans in all teams in all countries signed up surely it would reach 1M
  22. Phillipe Morais 10/1/09 Scottish cup win over Partick
  23. The ban doesn't really help us in the league it helps Celtic unless we can squeeze in our match with them
