  1. Kenny mentioned that, an extra pair of hands or two would be really good for the Sunday car boot Sale. All revenue goes straight back to the community development charity. The chairman, staff and partners currently take their turn on a voluntary basis to maximise profit, so extra help for a couple of hours on a Sunday would be really handy. There is also a second option. You could always have a clear out, give £10 to the charity, sell your gear at the car boot sale and raise some money for a new shirt.
  2. Thanks for the PM Im sure you will be greatly appreciated, any other volunteers out there.
  3. Its still around 2 months till the start of the season, putting the extra revenue aside from 3 sponsors, it might even look pretty good. I was told that the shirt soon to be replaced has also been the best seller to date. As for the ICT commercial dept I believe they have a few aces up their sleeve on top of what they are currently doing. If theres someone to blame look towards the SPFL, whos sponsoring that league ?

  6. Regarding funding perhaps the bank of Caley Thistle could be set up. If a credit card can be issued where money goes towards your football club. Then what about peer to peer lending where say a 2% interest rate could be arranged and be set for 3years or 5 years at 3% The £400,000 loan would only cost the club £8,000 to 12,000 pa. The club would only have to find £92,000 a year for 5 years to pay for it outright. It really depends on how long the surface is going to last for and whats Tommy going to do for a living.
  7. We may not even have reached 1000 yet, as the start of the season is still 2 months away.
  8. Go on to ICTfc.com and click on the main season ticket advert and its half way down.
  9. I would have thought it was a wee dig at Hibs.
  10. Do you fancy helping out and saving the day. Have you ever stood in the bar and tutted to yourself about the length of the queues. Or tutted because people are jumping the queue. To resolve this, all you would have to do is arrive a little bit earlier and help out for the rush. Instead of turning queuing customers away, they will get served earlier, they will get served quicker and its because of you. You will also be making extra money for the club. It may only be for 20 mins and doesn't have to be for every match, it can be shared and it wont clash with the football. I have been told that not just anyone can turn up and start helping out as training is required. To overcome this. Our proactive club is offering bar staff training to people who are reliable and who are genuinely interested. I hope you enjoy seeing all those happy faces savouring a nice cool pint served by you. If you are genuinely interested, contact the club and I look forward to seeing you behind the bar. Cheers.
  11. I have some very good news for all those kind hearted people who donated to the Cup Final Surfer Flags. You all bought into a vision and collectively we created our very first ICT giant flags for the club. 1st ones in 20 years I have wanted to announce this for quite a few weeks but 1st wanted to make sure the head count was correct and also wanted to remind those who said they would donate, to actually donate, without telling them of the outcome Being a community club and a proactive club, the chairman and I wanted to reward those who gave but did not expect anything in return. For the individuals who donated towards the flags there are various prizes on offer to be drawn at a later date. The prizes are as follows. 1st prize A signed shirt from our very first cup final. equal 2nd and 3rd is a pennant and a signed photo from the glorious great escape semi final, containing 5 players looking pleased with themselves. 4th prize is a poster of the fans which has been signed by the players. On top of that. Its been a great season and to pass on that feel good factor, every single person who donated towards the flags will each receive a miniature flag of their choice and I more or less know which flags to order due to the private poll carried out over the past few weeks. These have yet to be ordered so we are probably a few weeks away from getting any sent out. Special Thanks to. The fan who contacted me regarding the supplier. Don for Designing the flags. Peter our safety officer for advice at the design stages. Our Chairman Kenny Cameron, for listening to a fan with an idea, for the continual support, the prizes, collecting the money and also contributing to the flags. CJT for their collections, contributions and for offering help to get the flags out on display. Caleythistleonline for the paypal links and the publicity. All the sponsors. The club and players. And lastly the nuts and bolts of the club, You. Whether you contributed or not, they are Your Flags and represent you and your club. If you are a bit miffed that you have missed out on the above, there are also some cracking prizes that the club have made available to the 1st 1000 season ticket holders and the early bird season ticket prices finish tomorrow, 6th June, so if you get your skates on, not only do you get money off your season ticket you might win something too. :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: The 12th Man.
  12. Regarding the free-ish shirts Ross County are 'giving away' Youngsters have to pay £25 to watch the games and get a free shirt. There is an advertising slogan for fresh natural white fish called 'Simply Cod' (which contains 54% fish) If we had an advertising slogan for our youngsters to get it to the matches it would be called 'Simply Free' (100% free entry) No catches no gimmicks, under 12s go free. For the rest of us the early bird prices finish tomorrow.
  13. I think you would be very surprised how many fans we have in all of the locations you mentioned and beyond. We could have easily taken more buses from Dornoch/Tain and Moray area to the cup final. ICT have done a lot of good work, sorry thats a bit of an understatement. ICT have done a lot of terrific work looking after fans far and wide. Time and time again you hear of ICT lending a helping hand, children upset because their school garden gets vandalised at North Kessock, a boy getting his shirt replaced from up North, Eagle for Caleys brother getting shown around the staidum. Healthy eating in schools. I also believe more good news is on the way.
  14. Why restrict a fanbase to only Inverness when we are the pride of the Highlands.
  15. Regarding attendances I think the family section will be pretty good this coming season.
  16. Everyone else is irrelivent, you support your club and your team, your local team. No matter how big or small, its your club.
  17. I didnt realise but the early bird prices are only valid for another 10 days. Savings against pay at the gate 10% off at the club shop. Subway deals The 1st 1000 go in to a draw for special one off prizes.
  18. Thanks for all of the contributions, if you stated that you wanted to pay and havent yet done so can you please send me a pm. Cheers
  19. On saying that its better to get players on the up, than players on the way down.
  20. Thanks for all the replies
  21. The next major signing will be at the dole office. ( once a fortnight )
  22. 1st he will be sacked in the morning. 2nd Hibs wont bounce straight back up.
  23. Any players worth taking Terry as there wont be a Butcher bounce next season.
  24. A legends summer derby would be good, as long as we get Tokes and Munro. I could see both clubs doing well for local charities.
  25. I had the view that if you reduce prices you get x amount more through the door. What blew that theory clean out of the water was that for all the season ticket holders that we have, the numbers hardly increased when they could take someone for free ! Scottish cup QF £10 adults £5 children. You need x amount of fans to break even, any extra fans are pure profit. Pulling figures out of thin air, if a seat costs £25, 2000 generate £50,000 if that is the figure to break even, then at £15 you have to suddenly find an extra 1,333 fans paying full price just to break even, an increase of 66.6% and even offering free tickets to st holders didnt increase volume by that much. Nor did cup tickets at £10.
