  1. Smell the whisky a good malt plays a single note, a blend is more like a chord. Hold it up to the light and savour the moment, then drink it quickly before the barman wants some money.
  2. If it were to happen I would canny enough to start taking orders for the turf that can be sold when ever it gets replaced. Aberdeen had to play a cup game on an artificial pitch and one of their injured players trained at a ground with artificial, to see if they could play in time and it just niggled the Injury. I'm sure the tecnology is improving all the time though.
  3. Will be a hell of a lot clearer after this weekend
  4. I don't think its right, keep the insults for Ross county, if she was coloured and a comment was made on the colour of her skin the game may have been stopped. People would have ended up in court and the club possibly fined. Which reminds me did any one get a court appearance for throwing what looked like a cricket ball or a base ball at one of our players in the cup final
  5. That's great can I call you the president of Chorley.
  6. Any takers? Who wants to be the chosen one to start it all off in their area? And would you join if there was one?
  7. Excellent match, even watching the above clip, Doran scores a goal, Yogi does a Broonie pose, The fans go wild, wild, wild. and I just smile, smile, smile
  8. Hes dug a hole for himself but I think the players are going to help pull him out of it tonight.
  9. Plane sailing.
  10. Well guys big game tonight. Lets go to work.
  11. Confused.com I applied to become Andy Murrays new coach, I know hes been doing fine of late but advised him to drop the power serves and to continually chip and charge. With a bit of educating and bit of learning he can be as good as Tim Henman.
  12. On a more serious note wishing you the best of luck against County.
  13. Hmm
  14. How about signing up more explayers / exmanagers children in the youth teams as it seems to be working well
  15. Regardless of other topics we are still moving into our 20th season and fans are for life and not just for the good times. It would be good to see as many as possible in place for next season.
  16. So who wants to take up the challenge of setting this up and rounding up a few locals and trust me, the next semi we get to, there will probably be a local bus taking your supporters branch to the cup match, excluding Australia or Canada, unless the continents have joined up by then. If you can get a tribal flag designed they can be purchased far cheaper than you think and if a few orders are put in it will save on postage too. Aberdeen have sixty including Mallaig sc, Isle of Bute sc, Lewis and Harris Aberdeen sc, Orkney sc, and Shetland sc, just wait till the ICT Vikings get hold of them. lol. Yet for overseas they only have the Melbourne dandies, South Australia sc and the Phillipines.
  17. And here was I thinking that this post was laying some bait a little early, that was going to progress into a pretty good April fool where the BBC website progressively gets worst through out the day.
  18. You can buy when you get there
  19. We were the best, or I should say a close 2nd best to Celtic. The best defence, the best leagues goal scorer, the most entertaining team to watch. We knew how to play football and win. Butcher selected all of our players as he saw something special in them. Butcher, larger than life character and international player. Enter Yogi. Play through the middle? Play fecking everywhere, what ever it takes. long balls, diagonals, down the channels, down the middle, keep them guessing. Yogi may or may not have the dressing room who knows, bar giving the youngsters a chance he hasn't scouted for a single player and they may not have heard of John Hughes. Butchers style of play was boring and we lost fans because of it and they didn't want to come back, sadly they have missed out on 2 great seasons. Thankfully Butcher changed the style of play 2 seasons ago and we haven't looked back, it was nowhere near what it is now. Yogi has to educate himself as to what his best options are, whats best for him, whats best for the players and the club. When Strachan took on the Scotland job he quite openly said he didn't have the pool of players to suit his style of play so instead played to the players strengths. Do I want Yogi sacked ? No, not yet. I actually think he is doing a good enough job of trying to sack himself. See what you have in front of you, see what works and what doesn't, Butcher changed his tactics too. Aberdeen have been crying out for pacey wingers for years, problem now resolved on both wings. Aberdeen struggled to score from open play enter Rooney problem resolved. Aberdeen go from being under achievers to cup winners, in another semi and on course for Europe. We aren't Aberdeen but see what you have and play them to their strengths before its too late.
  20. Mahonio you mean to say that you have started this topic want the man sacked but haven't even seen the team play since his his appointment. Where have you been?
  21. They would be ripped to shreds from the wind, the flags are due a bit of strengthening as it is, as there is a fair bit of lift created as the wind blows over the uncovered sections, when its strengthened Im hoping its plane sailing.
  22. Schools/Youth Groups can get free tickets pretty much any time they like by just getting in touch with the club, so no need for competitions. Wasnt thinking of schools for that, this is just a way of kids seeing the flags at their school. Was thinking more along the lines of the City and club #togetherNess vibe.
  23. Or the more specialised version of which Inverness secondary school. I would fold it in the house but the furniture gets in the way. You live in Deeside by any chance
  24. I have a few places in mind but Im assuming it will be more constructive if it involves free competition tickets in the Courier.
