  1. Sheep jokes... how original. If you're going to be insulting, at least come up with a jibe that's not been used a million times before.
  2. Personally, I drive an Aston Martin DB9.
  3. Sounds like I had a more enjoyable afternoon fumigating my flat...
  4. Also listening to Terry Wogan! Playing Love Is All Around by Wet Wet Wet now. There's a blast from the past.
  5. Nope. Doesn't do it for me at all. Very underwhelming.
  6. If they're serious about this, then they're really playing with fire and they may find that no TV money ends up being forthcoming. Idiots
  7. Just remembered another one: Paolo Nutini. A young man should not have a singing voice like a 55-year-old with half his teeth missing.
  8. Personally I don't believe you should meddle with what God gave you unless there's a good reason for it, such as scars, burns or some problem that's seriously affecting your life. Too many people take plastic surgery way too lightly these days and plastic surgeons are being allowed to dictate what constitutes "beauty", or even "normality". This is definitely not a healthy outlook. However, I can kind of understand why a woman would want to have a procedure like lipo or a tummy tuck to try and recapture what she feels to be lost looks: getting older and saggier can be demoralising for us all. Unfortunately all these procedures have risks. Sadly Denise Hendry isn't the first person to die because of botched liposuction and sadly she won't be the last.
  9. Just my feet. I don't even have a bike to my name, mainly because I've nowhere to keep one.
  10. Yes I heard about that. Just when you think things can't get any more odd at Almondvale...
  11. That's an interesting assumption. My understanding is that she decided to have the lipo a few years back because having 4 children had played Hell with her figure and it's not uncommon for women to have this done to get their figures back after having a family - although I definitely wouldn't have is done myself. Unfortunately though, procedures like that can and do go wrong. The poor woman suffered dreadfully in the last few years: I felt very sorry for her. At least she's not suffering any more. As others have said, RIP.
  12. That's funny, because there's something about her that I find obnoxious! Agree 100% about the Ting Tings though: their "music" gives me a sore head.
  13. Arctic Monkeys Oasis Elton John Amy Winehouse Lily Allen Texas Any manufactured boy/girl bands Katie Perry Lady GaGa Kate Nash (sings like a character from Eastenders) And I find Duffy to have a really weird voice, but I can tolerate her 100 times more than Amy Winehouse or Lily Allen, who both make me want to stick my fingers in my ears and go "la la la" until they shut the hell up.
  14. Around about 1,500 last season. Not nearly enough to sustain full time football. And here was me thinking it was 3 blokes and a dog. Their crowds were never that great, even when they were doing well. There was always something a bit plastic and unreal about the club, it's not suprising they've ended up in this mess.
  15. Hmm... Methinks she has a point. IMO "nonsense" forums are for just this sort of thing. It's fun not to have to be serious and sensible at times.
  16. It happened on a flight I was on a few months ago. I can't remember where I was flying from, but when the plane touched down at Stanstead a big round of applause broke out. I guess there were a lot of easily impressed people on board; it was Ryanair after all. Going back to the topic of the thread, I rarely understand anything other people do, but one thing that puzzles me is why someone who's looking for a pair of scissors walks around making snipping movements with their hands. I'm sure most of us have done it, but why??
  17. "...Massone told BBC Scotland that a fund-raising appeal to supporters only generated ?149.50" As much as that, eh?
  18. On the contrary, papalazaroo is anything but a County fan! Like myself he used to post on the old board back in the days of Sportnetwork, and I can promise you that he's ICT through and through. However, given his history with Mike Smith, it's a little suprising to see him come out in support of the guy.
  19. If this is true, I find quite worrying that the club doesn't seem to know who exactly is on its payroll.
  20. I don't know that I would be able to be in the same room as him and remain civil.
  21. Was Muss Muss by Herbert Gr?nemeyer, Germany's greatest export since the Porsche 911.
  22. Good luck guys. My boss is the captain of Stirling Albion, so I've got quite a big interest in them!
  23. They like him 'cos he got us relegated. WOC - it's a bit like bank managers or chairmen of big corporations that screw up - they just get offered another job with loads of cash again. Go figure! At least in financial services if you're that incompetent at the job you risk being struck off by the FSA as an unfit person to carry out regulated financial activity. In football there's no such regulation: you can get yourself some coaching badges and call yourself a coach or manager even if you have no tactical awareness or man-management skills whatsoever and you can fail miserably in every job and still keep finding more work. It just confirms my previous suspicions that it's a mad old world that we live in!
  24. Caleymad, is that a compliment? Because my days of being 19 are long gone!
