1. Sad to see the big man leaving, he has built the team up on a shoestring budget and the word grudging no longer seems to appear before respect when Ictfc are talked about in football media circles. Aberdeen wage bill was 5.2m last season compared to ours which is more than 5 x lower and this stat highlights his and the team's achievements. At 56 this is his last chance to be at a truly big Scottish club and succeed or fail he deserves our blessing. Good luck tel boy and mo and Steve if they join you, I for one have had a great couple of years with the 4-4 comeback against Dundee united and beating county again and again and again and again being my highlights. The man stand actually singing as one against county was pretty special too, if a bit unsettling. I will always welcome them back in the Highlands gladly and hope he is successful(ish) at Hibs and finishes one place below us in the league each season.
2. Wasn't going to comment until three games were up but only one was needed. What an achievement, what a season and on a shoestring budget. Every point gained has been vital and only Celtic have lost as few games as we have so far. Now, Europe would be the cherry on the pie. Well done guys, last season is a distant memory now.
3. Remember we have a survival budget and punched above our weight before the break. This will go down to the wire but let's judge after these games are finished. It could go either way at the minute but we are unbeaten in 5 (I think) so not the end of the world. We don't have a right to beat anyone, we need a bigger squad and no team these days can expect to have continuous great form with maybe 12 first team players with spl quality. So take a deep breath and hope tf that we make it. Ignore our neighbours, ignore everyone except killie, DU and Aberdeen, they are the only ones who can stop us making the top 6. Signing off, no comments from me until the next three games are over.
4. Plenty of clear chances to win the game and all of a sudden a couple of late subs cost us the 3 points? We battered them tonight and couldn't finish. Simple as, no need for histrionics or complaints about tactics. Can you tell me how many more clear chances we would have had with different tactics? Killie were very poor, Plan A was working again, however we couldn't effing SCORE. We were robbed tonight and I doubt SAF would have been able to influence what happened on the park. Still very frustrated but cat has been kicked, sulk is over and just hope we get our shooting boots back.
5. I know it is a bit frustrating and for what it's worth Roberts wasn't the right sub yesterday and his style of play and lack of confidence doesn't suit us. I agree we don't seem to have a plan b. My main problem with the team though which could easily be resolved (other than lack of depth)is that two of our best players, draper and two doors Jones leave our defence too exposed and play very square and high making it easy to by-pass them at times. Anyway, fingers crossed for the next few games that we score more than the other team and the fact we are playing quite well gives me hope, especially compared to the shoite we had to endure at times last year (due largely to injuries).
6. Ok, time to calm doon a wee bit. Just as we shouldn't have gone ott when we were winning or drawing most games, we shouldn't get too stressed when we hit our bad patch. I don't think the defeats lately were down to tactics but individual errors. I hear Terry and Mo shouting at players every week to do the basics and this causes us to lose goals at times but that's nothing new. Our squad is at a certain level (bottom 4) but our first 11 are a potential top 6 team. How you can change things depends on the players you have available. Let's enjoy the ride guys, think back to 3 games in this season and what you would have been happy with and be realistic in your expectations. Finishing top 8 would be incredible given our squad. I am loving this season and although we have 9 games to go others have less. No Celtic to play, no cups to play in we can do it but, quite frankly, would be an over achievement if we did so.
7. Goliath Grunt is a County supporter, don't rise to his poor attempt at baiting
8. Disappointing result and performance but semi finals are no ordinary game (ask Stuart Pearce, Chris Waddle etc). We certainly weren't outplayed and really should have won. Oddquine's comments are embarrassing for her - I was going to have a mini rant about what local youths etc but what's the point, it's her opinion and I am sure she can explain why Ross County's famed youth system has led to them signing foreigners instead of using home grown youth players. Also, it took great courage for the young lad to take a penalty and someone had to eventually miss. David Raven was 11th for goodness sake and he is a grown man. Glad most people are disappointed but not losing the plot - still a long season ahead of us and many more potential glory days ahead.
9. I think this thread shows how mature CTO is. Doofers dad and oddquine talking shoite and noone bites. Big respect
10. And Renegade is finally released, will be interesting to see the cr@p coming out now from the, until now, (this season anyway) silent moaners.

If he goes he goes, the club will go on. Good luck to him, he has been given time at a club and has shown that when given time he can do really well. Just remember that he is a decent bloke but we will never have the resources to grow the club, especially when Sevco join the biggies again. If he leaves he leaves us with a smile on our faces. The next man's job is to maintain the spirit and ours is to help him.

Saying that he hasn't gone anywhere yet.
11. Now reassured, cheers bughtmaster
12. Think Steve Marsella is the one we need to look after. If he goes then there is a fear that we will quickly become Ross County or worse. I calculate that since he arrived as chief scout and goalkeeping coach he has scouted 10 players out of our recent starting 11's. Only Richie Foran was here when he arrived.
13. I have been looking at our bench over the last couple of months and there is not a lot of competition for places. We need to strengthen in this window if we are to stay in course for a top 6 finish. If we lost eg Warren, Draper and MacKay at the same time (remember last season?)we will struggle to continue this run. Players have been tired lately and new faces will give us the extra push to remain in the top 6. Couple of defenders and a midfielder would be top of my list.
14. I like the way things are working out. We now have a core supporter of around 3k and at the Hibs game there was something approaching an atmosphere which was great to hear. I think, if the team continue to be successful, that this could be the season we turn into an established SPL club with a confident support. If we get that the rest will follow and stick with the team. Definitely having a glass half full kind of day today.
15. Ca canny folks. Let history judge us, not even half way through the staggione
16. Isn't winning magic?
17. This is a magic season no matter what happens. Great to be top 5 in Movember
18. It might be the wine talking but yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! That was magic, well done boys
19. Wise words Starchief bit it was my best mate....theoretically I mean
20. Hurts me to say this but I agree with Renegade. After a 5-1 defeat they deserve to be boo'ed. I hate the anti Foran comments as it isn't justified but if you pay £24 quid and the performance is shoite then the players understand that you deserve a right good boo'ing. That is their workplace feedback. No-one cheers me if I send a good e-mail but if they did I would accept the boo'ing if it had spelling mistakes in it.
