  1. Great result against a side that had a bit of a hoodoo over us last season.... Tansey seems to be an ever present and important part of the team, be interested in hearing how others think he is playing....with Marley, Vincent and Foran fit, we seem to have a bit of strength about us
  2. According to the ICTFC Twitter info will be released tomorrow about how / when to buy tickets. I'm surprised how tense I've got waiting to be able to book my ticket!!
  3. £20 despatched
  4. I just wish they would put the tickets on sale, as I am out of the Uk for a week or so just before the final and would like to sort my ticket out before I go, I haven't seen the club give out any news about how tickets will be handled (i.e. no need to register interest etc) so hoping it will be straightforward.
  5. Could be a very significant event for us, glad that JV has rejected the lure of a 'bigger' (!?) move but I think it also says that Inverness is a very special place, and the team a special 'band of brothers'
  6. There's a few of us flying in from England...does that count as abroad? I guess that depends on the result of the independence vote, mind you if it rains any more down here.....glug
  7. Can't believe how long it has taken to issue news of ticket sales, I guess the choice of venue must have delayed things a bit, but SPFL must have had a basic idea on pricing, ticket style and printers to use before the semi's
  8. Agreed... just as well everyone is fit, with Foran, Watkins and Vincent all back as we have a few fixtures coming up now...be interested to know what are peoples priorities now, would we settle for staying in the top six, winning the League Cup, and avoiding being knocked out by Stranraer..but going out in the next round...or push on for a second cup final, or push on for a top three place in the league?
  9. I'll stick £20 in... you just need 9 now to pull the trigger!
  10. Part of the southern contingent coming over the border!
  11. Count me in, on flag or display or balloons
  12. ha ha, not a bad idea... wonder if I can borrow their drum? Is now the time to mention the red n blue balloons?
  13. Mine too! Back to Gatwick Gonna book flights today. What flight are you on Eagle4Caley? 21:15 ... I'm in seat 20F
  14. Mine too! Back to Gatwick
  15. Is the KO time already agreed?
  16. Tannadice is one scenario I haven't allowed for!!!
  17. If I'm honest I tend to think Nick is a bit lightweight and rarely influences any game that I've seen...HOWEVER yesterday he was a bit special, and I would say (to murder a famous phrase from Churchill) 'if he were to play for a 1000hours, fans would still say, this was his finest hour'
  18. Me too! I need a return flight as booked expecting a home game months ago ... I currently have 3 hotels booked at different venues as well!
  19. Unbelievable, fantastic, I'm so emotional, well done Caley! Extra time and penalties were brilliant.... as for Nick Ross, I hadn't realised he'd scored at first! Did I say fantastic..Yee haaa!
  20. Good luck everyone...I shall be glued to the internet, following events.
  21. Just looked at the forecast for next Sunday on BBC website, overnight it could get as low as -7 (is that considered warm for this time of the year up your way?), with a max daytime temp possibly of 7degs, slight wind and no snow or rain. I hope it stays that way for you guys and girls making the trip
  22. From what I have seen from the last two (televised matches), having Shinnie in midfield is benefiting both McKay and Doran....and Tremarco looks pretty solid at left back...once we get Watkins back and Draper (and now with Vincent back) I feel our season is going to go back up the gears...Shinnie in midfield for me.
  23. What a result! TBH I wasn't expecting that given Aberdeen's recent form, but looks like perhaps our winter 'blip' might be over. Have watch some of the BBCAlba coverage on IPlayer and we looked like we played pretty well....Shinnie really growing into the midfield general role, also helped that Tremarco is very solid in LB. Doran looking dangerous as well, and great that Vincent is back. Still want a decent option for or to support Billy up front though. Need to watch all 90mins later! I was in a lounge at Palace after our 1-0 win, and got some puzzled looks when I 'wooped' when ICT's result came up... made for a happy evening. Prospects of bring wife and eldest daughter up for games in the future!
  24. Ooo I dream of this, ...a little bit on transfers, and a bit more to turn the stadium into a snazzy little 10,000 seater with wrap-around stands (leaving the main stand alone) with a futuristic titanium coloured roof and with super smart toilets, food lounges and other facilities...yes I dream alot, and of course would need to buy a flat in the 'Ness
  25. Not half as dreadful as Jason Puncheon's for my other team this weekend! Watched all but the first 15mins on TV, thought the best match I have seen on TV this season. We were lucky with the penatly not given against us, but overall considering the midield we could put out, we played some good stuff....Doran had the best game I have seen him play, Shinnie did a good job in midfield, Tremaco doing well at left back and useful games from Polworth and Williams, Greenhalgh had a tidy cameo as sub. Overall given recent results very heartening. Crowd looked very sparse on TV and no atmosphere at all. bar last 5-10mins
