  1. Any pics of today?
  2. What kit will we wear in pre season? Last years?
  3. Is it actually more revenue than before though, despite there being more sponsors they might be paying us minimal fees...
  4. Williams...that's it.
  5. Billy's close to signing a new contract, apparently.
  6. Future captain for sure - terrific news.
  7. There'd always be some who'd still go, which would still be more than Killie or St Johnstone for example.
  8. Bodes well...
  9. I'd love to see even one of the sections on the end of the Main stand knocked down and a media suite built. It'd look so much nicer, and would surely bring another source of revenue for the club?? I know it's easier said than done but you'd think in the long term it would be of benefit. If the other rather unsightly section of the main stand was removed, then the few seats in the West 'stand' could be extended so it's a full stand spanning the length of the pitch just 6 rows deep or something. After seeing the video back in 2004 of when we were promoted, I'd also love to see the North and South stands go back to what they were like then, taking into account the new ground capacity rules. I know this is asking a bit much but I'm just throwing it out there. So there'd be a reduced seating capacity in both the main stand and north stand (marginally), but this would be compensated for by the increased capacity in the West stand. This would make our attendances look better (and might actually improve them), and also the overall atmosphere would be improved. Fully expecting to be shot down saying we can't afford it, and that may be so, but with the profits from our sucsesses on the pitch over the couple of seasons and I'm sure a transfer fee or two over the summer, could it not be something the board look at?

Mostly related in a 2+2=5 formulation aimed at John Hughes ? Most managers bring on players with minutes to spare to run down the clock or give a MOTM the recognition he deserves....seems to me as though people can't wait to criticise Yogi.

    People will moan about anything...
  12. Thought crowd was okay actually, only a couple of hundred Dundee United fans soooo... Danny Williams and Carl Tremarco stood out for me. Tansey and Draper solid in midfield. Ref useless - how was their goal not a foul on Brill?

I've already had this discussion and am not in agreement that anything was abandoned in our match against Ross County. The only real difference was that we had 2 fit wingers for the first time in a while and that, IMO, better facilitated the balance that Yogi has been striving for. The big worry there Caley D is we only really have 2 wingers and if one is out his whole system falls apart as in previous matches, and why play a system if he doesn't have fit players to make it work ? 2? What about Ross and Williams ?

  19. I must say I was impressed by the young left back.
  20. On a brighter note, what was that song from Friday night something along the lines of... Oh Caley Thistle ......... We are the caley jags ...... ??
  21. I meant I thought it was going to be about our fans singing all night long...I didn't know about these chants, however.
  22. Thought this was going to be a positive thread when I opened it.
  23. Sides of the main stand.
  24. We'd have won that if it wasn't for the red - joke.
